Girls weekend

This apartment was the perfect place for our group of six ladies, ages 55-70. Great location, very spacious, comfy and clean. The restaurant below has delicious pizza which we all enjoyed. Host was quick to respond to questions. We hope to return next year and stay here again!

Mount Airy Friendtrip

Location was perfect for our needs-were able to easily walk to all 'Mayberry' attractions. Amenities were plenty, unit was extremely clean, two bed/two bath was a plus. Very quite. Parking was fine but finding it was difficult and it is in the back alley of several stores/restaurants. Highly recommend and would return.

Family in town

We rented this out to house overflow family for the holidays. Everybody loved it. It was spotless, comfortable, well appointed. There were games for the children, and a pub downstairs for the grownups. The pizza in the pub is first rate. Not too noisy either considering that this is a busy downtown location. Would definitely stay there again.

Local getaway

We are locals that found a need for a temporary home while repairs were made on our home. The apartment is beautiful, clean and right in the middle of downtown. Easy walk to shopping and wonderful food. We will definitely recommend to visiting family and friends in the future.

Great location

We had a lovely time in Mt. Airy visiting all the sites, shopping, and restaurants. The apartment we stayed in had a great vibe, very clean, great location, and chic. I will be back.

I was Wowed by the apartment. It was very modernized and clean. The location was excellent for walking around town and visiting the shops. I would highly recommend this apartment to all my friends and family.

Cozy/Clean/Modern

Overall very satisfied with our stay. Stayed 2 nights for a wedding event. Very spacious and clean! Rooms are a great size with their own bathrooms. Originally concerned because the apartment sits above a restaurant but no noise issues. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to friends and family!

We had a wonderful stay - really convenient location close to ONS and downtown. Nice parking, and thank you for the detailed directions/pictures to get to our parking spot. Very "uptown" design of the apartment - very cool! :)

Kayaking trip with friends

This property is absolutely amazing! My husband and I, along with another couple, went kayaking down the Dan River. We stayed 2 nights here. The location was wonderful and the property was clean, cozy and beautiful. We are looking forward in making this an annual trip, as long as we can rent this property again.

Enjoyable stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is clean, well appointed and a great location. It is very close to Main Street and located above a brewery that sells some of the best pizza I have eaten. It is a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights due to the band that plays on the street outside of the brewery, but they stop at 10 PM, so this wasn't an issue for us. I just know some folks might not like that, but for us, it was great. We walked down and enjoyed a drink while listening to the band. I would recommend this property, especially for those who want to be close to Main Street.

Amazing Apartment

My husband, adult daughter and myself stayed here this past weekend. My husband and daughter ran in the Mayberry Half Marathon. The location of this apartment was perfect for the race. We parked right outside of the apartment and really had no need to drive anywhere that weekend. There are plenty of stores, bars and restaurants within walking distance. We were very impressed with the cleanliness. Most other places we have stayed at in the past through VRBO have been clean but this apartment was spotless! The apartment is very comfortable and any questions we had the hostess replied quickly. I highly recommend renting this apartment.

Mt. Airy wedding

Had a wonderful stay with 3 siblings & 2 spouses at this wonderful apartment in downtown Mt. Airy. It was fun to have a comfy place to hang together, walk to breweries and shops, and quickly drive where we needed to go for this family wedding. Great location—beautiful and fully upated/renovated space, responsive host. All in all a fabulous place that worked for 2 couples & 2 singles. 5 stars!

Nice apartment

Place was nice, beds were comfortable and it was walking distance to downtown. Parking area was in the back alley which was not attractive but the apartment does have dedicated parking. Check-in info was received morning of arrival. There was music Friday and Saturday night which could be heard quite clearly in the living room - not sure if it was a special event since part of Market Street was closed off. Thankfully they shut down around 10:30 pm so it was tolerable.

Excellent Mt Airy Location

All was great once we got in. I did not hear from the owner regarding check-in. VRBO app said they had no check-in info and that we needed to contact owner. However, phone number listed was incorrect. I called the VRBO help line. The gentleman was extremely helpful. He acquired the correct number for us. Shortly after, we received the check-in info via text (which was only a couple hours prior to our arrival). The apartment itself was wonderfully spacious and clean. It could use a “woman’s touch” in decorating and supplies. Things like Kleenex is needed, a better supply of TP and paper towels is needed in pantry (we ran out and had to purchase). It’s a shame that the nice deck was in the back alley where the backside of local businesses and their garbage were located (a plus to that is it did not smell). Aside from all that, we would definitely recommend. The location was perfect.

Cute space!

The property would have been a little difficult to find had it not been for the excellent directions (complete with photos of the street entrance) of the owner. He was a text away the whole weekend. Location is convenient to all the Mount Airy has to offer. This place is a great find!

Family wedding getaway

We were in town for a family wedding and had the best time! You can walk to any shops, bars, or restaurants you want! I would love to go back so we have more time to explore the town. The host is super communicative and we were so pleased to have chosen this location!

Great place, great location

The place looks newly renovated and has an awesome vibe to it. Very well put together with exposed beams and ceiling to show the age of the building. Meticulously clean. Great communication and walking distance to everything you need. We never even used our car during the stay.

My family travels to Mt. Airy at least once a year. This location was perfect! The rental was very spacious and clean. We would definitely stay here again!
