Very simple check in process. The home was nice and on the lake. Lake views from the interior of the home and the lakefront deck.Small town but Baraboo is nearby and Lodi.Also the Dells if you’re into that.It was nice and peaceful there.

On the Lake Weekend

You can't ask for a better spot "on the lake.' We enjoyed relaxing on the deck with great lake views. The house was welcoming, clean, and the perfect size for our family. Check-in was easy and our host was responsive and helpful. Perfect weekend get-away.

The beds/bedrooms were comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. Floor of shower was slippery; we used a hand towel in the shower to prevent slipping. A nonslip mat would be helpful. We felt shorted on adequate glassware, eating utensils, cutlery. The outdoor patio required some cleaning to use it for morning coffee or meals. The dishes were nice. They gave us adequate spices and cleaning supplies to meet our needs during our stay. I launched my paddleboard from the pier with some difficulty as the pier is unstable, two people walking not in sink was very tippy. We did enjoy watching the fish jump and turtles along the shoreline. There a few maintenance items that could be addressed for this pleasant yet modest lakefront cabin.

Adorable Lake Cottage

This cottage is so cute and cozy. We went skiing at Devil's Head and this was the perfect place as a home base and way cheaper than the resort. The cottage was also clean and had games as well. My only complaint is that I can't find an open summer weekend to book my next trip.

Star gazing at devils lake

My son wanted to go to Devil’s Lake State Park for his birthday. We wanted a small quiet getaway and we got it! The added bonus was the kids catching fish right behind the house. Very close to state park. Great little lakehouse. Very clean! Will definitely stay again.

great family weekend getaway

cute little cottage right on the lake in a beautiful location. my kids (ages 4, 3, and 1) loved it. close to ski area and not far from other local attractions. a little on the small side, but was perfect for us as we were out and about most of the weekend, and a bonus was the cabin was pet friendly. the property manager was excellent with communication and replied to us right away when we had questions. would definitely return!

Cute lake cottage- reminded me of my parents home- great communication with Chris regarding TV issues- could have been cleaner-you could see dirt/ dust under bed in single queen room when sitting on living room couch Overall worked great little place

The house is practically clean and cozy, but the price doesn't match the quality. The location makes up for it, though - it's a paradise on the shores of a Wisconsin Lake.The smell of uncollected garbage in the bin slightly interfered with the cleanliness of the air.During registration, it took eleven attempts over the course of two weeks to get my documents uploaded.But my husband and I had a really good time, despite everything, and were happy with our trip.Thank you to the hosts for their attentiveness and support.

Property needs some lovin. There were things that didn't work in the house; such as tv in bedroom. Exterior was ok but wasnt the cleanest. Kayaks were very difficult to get in the water and get into. We did enjoy our stay. Was a lovely sunrise from the deck!

Great for furbabies

For people 'of a certain age' like us, there was NO TV for 3 days because we do Not has streaming services.....so there was absolutely NO television option. It was in the fine print/description, we just didn't realize that meant NO TV options at all, so be aware of that. That being said, the location and view was ideal and beautiful!

We had really hoped to be swimming a lot since we paid a premium to be on the lake but the water was very gross when we got out after giving it a try we were covered in green slim. The dock was extremely wobbly. We asked where we could find more toilet paper and were told they only leave a “starter supple” which was half a roll for 4 people for 4 nights. The pots and pans were so damaged they weren’t usable and the knives were too dull to safely cut. If you come during Mayfly season be prepared to be swarmed. Two of the nights we couldn’t be outside at all. The place was clean and supplied plenty of towels. Host responded quickly. We had a great time at nearby Baraboo and the crane foundation.

This lake house was the perfect location to stay for our visit to Devil’s Lake state park and Parfrey’s Glen. It’s close to attractions, pet friendly, clean, and has comfortable beds. Plus it has beautiful views of Lake Wisconsin. We’re already talking about coming back again next year.

The view from the deck was the best thing about this house! Right on the water. Beautiful! The beds were comfortable but the kitchen could use some updating. Overall a very nice stay. The company was very receptive and easy to work with.
