We had a wonderful 10 day stay. The host was very responsive and took the time to send me texts when I could not directly access the reservation on the app. The house is beautifully appointed and every kitchen gadget you could wish for is provided. I have enjoyed vacationing Down East for several years and this property will definitely go on my list of favorites. We were also fortunate enough to be there when there was only a small crescent moon and got some great pictures of the Milky Way from the deck.

Home was very comfortable, clean, well stocked and had a wonderful view. If you're looking for a quiet, laid back getaway with an upscale touch this is it! Would definitely visit again.

We had a great stay at this quite core sound beach house. The house is in outstanding condition, well furnished, and spacious. Great bedrooms and bathrooms with beautiful sound views. We enjoyed the serenity and peaceful feeling at the house getting relaxation. House is a 45 min drive back to morehead city for dinning, shopping etc. I highly recommend this house if your looking to step away from the norm and kick you feet back to decompress.

The description of the property was accurate. You had to drive an hour for a restaurant or to do anything. We did go fishing off the dock and caught 2 crabs. We visited Cedar Island, Atlantic Beach, Morehead City and the Aquarium. The last day there, we visited the Ocracoke Island which was beautiful. That was well worth the 2 hour ferry ride. The bike and paddle boards could be updated. Over all the trip was relaxing and peaceful while at the house. The beds however were a little rough as they are very firm. Made for uncomfortable nights. The shower took a few minutes to warm up. The house is welcoming. It would have been nice if there was a ladder on the dock to get in/out of the water to be able to use the kayaks and paddle boards.

Wonderful stay with breathtaking views

We had a wonderful time exploring Atlantic and Portsmouth Island. House was amazing and had the best views! One of our best vacations yet, can’t wait to go back.

We had an amazing stay at this beach house! The home was spotless and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and enjoy our time. The views were absolutely stunning — even better than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We loved every minute and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Quiet solitude with a great view

Wonderful property. Clean,modern, comfortable. It takes a little planning, as there are few restaurants and stores nearby, but that's part of the charm. Great host. Great stay.

The views!

My family and I wanted a place where we could relax and be together… This was perfect! We really enjoyed fishing and crabbing. Our favorite part was just being on the beautiful deck all the time. This is the perfect place if you want to be able to enjoy your time without even leaving.

My stay in Atlantic, NC

This house was amazing - very clean, well appointed, and the views are as great as the pictures depict them! We had a great time kayaking, paddle boarding, and just all around relaxing. I also want to point out that the hosts were extremely responsive to all of our questions.

Solitude on the Sound

This is a wonderful getaway from everyday life with all the amenities to make it an awesome experience. Very quiet and peaceful with a lovely view of the water. Beautiful sun and moon rises over the water.

Beautiful property

Well maintained beautiful home with an amazing view. Definitely in a less commercialized area but plenty to keep us occupied at the house!! We really enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and catching crab! The hosts were very responsive with any questions we had.

2023 July Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay! This house has the most beautiful views from almost every window. It is very secluded and provides a lot of privacy. This was the perfect way for our family to get away from the everyday grind. The kids enjoyed paddle boarding.

Spectacular Sunrises

One of the best homes we have stayed in. Every comfort was thought of. Soap in every bathroom, paper towels, toilet paper. Enough dishes and silverware and cups and glasses. The master bedroom opened to the ocean and we had spectacular sunrises every morning. Would recommend 1000% to anyone looking for a peaceful location to relax and unwind!

Even better than the pictures!

Definitely the place for a quiet, relaxing vacation. Very quiet neighborhood. We have 2 boys (ages 15 and 17) who said this was their favorite family vacation so far. Fishing, paddle boarding, and kayaking kept them busy. Plenty of room for group activities and for quiet time. Father-in-law asked we come back to this area again :)
