We are 5 sisters from Wisconsin and Minnesota in town for a convention. This house was great for us. Very clean and pleasant. We had no problems and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The property was more spacious than i thought it would be from the pictures. The attention to detail was lovely from the owner. My favorite part was that the sheets smelled good.
Overall good stay; asked for early check-in for baby to nap and was told it was a possibility - but when I followed up twice day before and day of arrival, did not receive a response at all.Otherwise, things to point out - no dining room table at all and single beds in one bedroom are very high
This property was perfect for our girls' trip! It was close to all.the things we wanted to see and do. Very clean and great furnishings. I'll definitely be back!
We made a quick trip to T-town and were pleasantly surprised to find such a wonderful place near downtown (AND near a great little authentic Mexican restaurant). The home is inviting and beds so comfortable. Charles was great with communication and the house so comfortable. I wonât hesitate to book it again should the need arise.
Overall, I would say we had a great experience staying at this property. The owner was easy to communicate with and answered each time we text him. The property was exactly as it said and showed in the pictures. Everything was clean and lots of stuff provided. Just a few things to mentionâŠ
1. When we got there, the front door was extremely difficult to openâŠ.it took 2 of us to finally get it. Then we couldnât get it locked again! But my husband fixed it, so that shouldnât be a problem in the future. 2. The heat was never turned on, so when we arrived the house was 50 degrees and took a full 24 hours to heat to an acceptable temperature. Once it warmed up, it stayed perfect.
3. There isnât a lot of hot water, so if you have 6 people staying with you (as we did) you have to space your showers out so everyone gets hot water. Not a big deal at allâŠwe easily worked around it!
4. When the washer is running, water splashes up through the kitchen sink when it drains. Again, not a huge dealâŠwe just made sure everything was out of the way when we ran the washer!
5. The neighborhood is just a little sketchy. Not terrible, just not somewhere we felt like we could go out alone to walk or run.
AgainâŠ.we had a very pleasant experience, and I would recommend staying here!!
We stayed in their home for a week in November. The home looked great from the photos. It was clean inside, but that was truly about it. There was no shower door in front bath, which made it unusable. When I asked owner about it, they said they just found out it broke and he could come the next day to try and figure something out. I told him not to worry about it because we had plans the next day and wouldnât be home. It was frustrating though, because that was one of the main reasons we chose this home. The front door would barely close/open. It literally took 2 people to get it to work. One pulling as hard as they could, and the other to try and turn the key. We couldnât go out back door, as it also wouldnât work. There were no garbage bags for the trash can. When I contacted owner about this, they had me search under sink, and a closet in the bedroom that had boxes thrown all over the place and I couldnât even find anything in there. He said heâd bring me more the next day, but never showed. The drawers in the front room, under the twin beds, were all falling out and unusable, and filled with empty beer boxes. This was hard too because there was no closet for our clothes, so we just left everything in suit cases. Shower handles in master bathroom came right off the wall. The neighborhood itself was not great either, and now that weâve seen the area I wouldnât choose it. There was just a lot of little things, that added up to not such a great experience.
The property is old and the renovations were not done well. Outside was in poor condition. Grass was not cut pictures do not Reflect the quality of the property pictures are deceptive. Photo on listing was taken at night and itâs not showing the real look at the property.
