Regarding the issues you mentioned (the one-sided toaster, peeling Teflon on the large pot, missing large skillet, unusable grill, and the outdoor items left in the grass), we had no prior reports of these, but that’s no excuse — we clearly missed them during our last turnover check. All of these will be addressed immediately: we’ll replace the toaster and pot, add a proper large skillet, get the grill serviced/repaired, and provide a weatherproof storage chest for beach gear right away. The roof vent concern is especially important — thank you for flagging it (and for your son’s roofing expertise!). We’ve already scheduled a professional roofer to inspect and properly flash/seal the vent this week to prevent any further water intrusion or damage. We’re grateful you brought this to our attention before it became a bigger issue. Your suggestions are spot-on, and we’re committed to making these updates quickly so the next guests can enjoy the stay you deserved.
