Artist Sky Loft in Downtown Black Mountain, Western North Carolina
Looking for the perfect mountain rental, located right in the center of Black Mountain? Look no further than the Artist Sky Loft. Located on the second floor of a mbuilding constructed in 1918, this two-bedroom, two-bath rental home integrates the old with a meticulous upgrade, making it a perfect location for exploring Black Mountain and the surrounding areas.
After climbing the 18 stairs from the street level, guests are greeted by a charming blend of old and new. While the whole home has been brought up to date, it maintains its charm with certain elements, like the old brick wall that is incorporated into the upgraded kitchen. Each of the bedrooms has a king-sized bed, and the whole rental contains paintings and artwork including hand-crafted vases. Best suited for adults who do not mind the nightlife. Coffee shop and bar below has local music on weekends and some Thursdays that can draw big crowds (for a small town) and be noisy above.
Our stay was wonderful! The apartment was so cute and so perfectly located in the center of downtown. Would absolutely stay again on our next trip to Black Mountain!
This is by far my favorite rental property we have ever stayed in. It is clean, incredibly well stocked, and beautifully decorated. There was nothing we wished we had that we could not find, and the location was perfect for enjoying Black Mountain. We canât wait to come back!
Great location. Lovely decor. Comfortable beds. Just an outstanding space. Loved having access to great coffee, tasty cocktails, good beer and live music....just downstairs!! So cool!
This apartment is gorgeous! Comfortable bed , well equipped kitchen . Host was very responsive, minor issue with fridge was fixed quickly. Only issue is parking, if you have to go anywhere during the day finding a parking place around lunchtime is challenging but otherwise this is a wonderful place to stay!
Overall great stay. We loved being able to wake up and take a short walk to get coffee and breakfast. I do wish that there were black out currents in the bedrooms to be able to sleep later in the morning.
Exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for us. We were able to walk to anywhere we wanted and be there in minutes ⊠or less. Communication with the owner was easy. I would choose to stay here again.
We loved staying in the Artist Sky loft. The location could not be beat and the beds and linens were incredibly comfortable. The whole loft was clean and I had great communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend.
You could not ask for a better location. We parked our truck and didnât have to get back in it til we were ready to come home. The space is perfect for a small family or even two couples. I would definitely book this place time and time again.
We spent a week right downtown Black Mountain, NC. The apartment was in a great spot right in the middle of all of the shops and restaurants. Entry and exit was easy. The apartment is quaint and comfortable, all we needed and more. The apartment is above a coffee shop/ Bar that has live music on the weekends. They didnât play past 10, however it was very loud on Friday and Saturday. Something to consider based on what you are looking for.
We had a wonderful time. The place is clean and the master bed is comfortable. Itâs in a happening area so if youâre looking for peace and quiet itâs not really that type of place. Itâs conveniently located to shops and restaurants⊠everything is walking distance.
Perfect place - spacious and convenient - clean and comfy - Ashley was awesome host - I even had to change days when plans changed and she did so quickly with no fuss.
Artist Sky Loft is a lovely apartment in Black Mountain. The decoration is awesome, very bright and artsy. The place has been upgraded and is very clean. The location is directly downtown and you can walk to everything. The only thing to be aware of is it is on top of a bar so you can hear the band and noise until they close at 10 on Fri and 11 on Sat but it wasn't a problem for us. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be down town. Parking is on the street. The earlier or later you come you have a better chance getting on the street where the apartment is but there is street and lot parking around the area.
The property is so centrally located. We parked and walked around Black Mountain for four days. We ended each evening in the coffee shop / bar below. So many shops and restaurants just outside your door and a short walk away. Bring an umbrella for short, pop-up storms. Want a night in? There is a comfortable common room and kitchen. We will be back!
This is a stunning downtown loft. From the moment I stepped inside, I was blown away by how impeccably clean and well-maintained everything was. The space was not only spotless but also beautifully designedâan artistic blend of local modern elements and unique touches that made it feel like a true work of art. The layout allowed for plenty of natural light, enhancing the beauty of the design and offering views of the mountains.
One of the best features of this loft is its unbeatable location. Shopping and dining were within easy walking distance. It was the perfect balance of a peaceful retreat and vibrant city living.
If you're looking for a stylish, clean, and conveniently located place to stay, this downtown loft is an absolute gem.
This loft is better than advertised. So comfy and decorated to the nines! The Artist Loft is centrally located in downtown Black Mountain. You walk right out of the front door and you are in middle of coffee/martini bars, restaurants and eclectic shops. The beds are super cozy and the little coffee table by the window is a great spot to watch sunrises and people watch.
Excellent location. The property was very clean and very comfy. Ashley was quick to respond to any questions or requests. Benefit to cost ratio very high.
We absolutely loved this apartment! It was just beautiful & exactly as described. It was so clean & had everything we could possibly need. The location is right in the middle of town, so walking distance to all shops & restaurants. Ashley was a wonderful host & very easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend & hope to stay there again!
We left the North over 20 years ago for Western North Carolina and take advantage of all it has to offer. Weekly, we hit the amazing local trails to hike and mountain bike. We frequent the Blue Ridge Parkway for Sunday drives, stargazing and road biking. We visit the nearby lakes and rivers for fly fish, boating, tubing and paddleboarding.
Black Mountain is our escape from our home in nearby Asheville! We love to eat and drink at the many locally-owned restaurants. There are new ones popping up seemingly every week! We find the people of Black Mountain to be so friendly and inviting. We hope you will too.
