Above-garage studio with Persian carpet, art on the walls, walk-out deck on which to savor sunrise and sunset. Charming brook with footpath about 100 yards away. YMCA member? Nearby branch within easy walking distance. Quaint shops and fine restaurants in Black Mountain. Minutes away from Blue Ridge Parkway and Asheville. Beautiful 30-minute mountain drive to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock State Park. Guests may unload baggage at door but will need to park down the street, in lot off Jane Jacobs Rd.

This was a return visit for us. The studio is lovely and immaculate. Hosts are very attentive and live adjacent to the studio. We would book this property again.

This gem in Black Mountain is beautiful, comfortable, and immaculate. The hosts have thought of every detail. The location is extremely quiet and private, yet conveniently located. Lots of natural beauty to explore along with great options for food, shopping, etc. Will return for sure!

Mountain get away

What a perfect place while visiting Black Mountain! Our studio / room was located in an upscale mountain community. The furnishings were wonderful
 from bed linens, thick bath towels, pretty decor, black out curtains to nice artwork on the walls! The large deck outside contained very comfortable furniture and a big umbrella! We enjoyed sipping some wine with a great Mountain View! I would definitely recommend this rental !!! You will love it!

Relaxing Anniversary

This upstairs studio was a perfect getaway for me and my husband for our anniversary. Very clean and quiet. It felt luxurious with a cozy bed, personal balcony, and contemporary kitchenette. We enjoyed our stay very much!

I cannot say enough good things about the hosts and our stay! The studio was clean, the neighborhood was quiet, the recommendations on food were perfect! Our trip started out with a disappointing stop at the original house we booked and I quickly got online found the studio with David and Pamela and they were quick to respond and let us stay at their studio within hours of me reaching out to them! We were so pleased with our stay and will return!

Amazing Stay in Black Mountain!

We loved staying at this property! David and Pamela were extremely kind and provided a wonderful, comfy, and beautiful stay as well as recommendations for things to do in the area. The neighborhood was very safe and well located to visit Asheville and other surrounding cities. We would definitely stay here again!

Small space but excellent place for a short rental.

We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, peaceful setting of this rental. It was well-equipped, beautiful, and very comfortable. The hosts communicated quickly and were friendly. The porch off the room had very comfortable seating for a lovely morning coffee and reading. The view was very nice. We definitely hope to return.

Excellent rental

We visited Black Mtn for the 4th festivities in Montreat and this rental was perfect! The hosts were easy to communicate and fast to respond. The studio had an amazing porch overlooking beautiful mtn views. We will definitely be back!

Simply Fantastic !

This was a last minute booking for an overnight in quaint Black Mtn. So glad I chose this option! Pamela very warmly welcomed me to her immaculate carriage house. This cozy studio apt. above the garage on a quiet one way street for residents access only and has a spacious modern deck with nicely appointed furniture ideal for enjoying the fresh mountain air with a partial Mountain View. The new bed and linens is one of most comfortable I’ve experienced while traveling. Simple tasteful decor made this studio stay Practically Perfect in every way!

Amazing beautiful neighborhood with even better host who give thorough instructions of how to get to the neighborhood. Definitely a place to comeback to every time we come to black mountain. Room was extremely clean with very high quality linens. Amenities were all perfect honestly couldn’t have had a better booking than this one. Beautiful place to stay with attentive kind host just made our weekend trip that much better so glad we chose to stay here definitely would recommend to anyone just trying to relax in the mountains.

Cozy Getaway & Superb Hosts

My hubby and I visited for a short getaway weekend over Memorial Day in Black Mountain, a favorite place of ours, to attend an event in town. This retreat was truly a relaxing and cozy space located in a beautiful tucked away neighborhood. The studio apartment was cozy and relaxing and you can tell the hosts have an eye for detail and decor. The bed was super comfy with quality linens and pillows. The room and bathroom were spotless and surprisingly the bathroom had a very deep tub
a great amenity to have after a long day of walking, touring around or hiking. They also have an amazing, large deck perfect to sit out and relax on while watching the sun set. It features cozy chairs that rock, as well as blankets to curl under and nice lighting. Dave and Pamela were so lovely and accommodating during our stay. I casually inquired as to whether they had a toaster, which they did not, and I was fine with that. I had the desire to have toast in the morning and was okay without. What they did do in response? They ran out and got a toaster for me to use, as well as a loan of a stick of butter, just so I could have that toast in the morning. (And it was yummy!) It was not necessary for them to do that - the stay was amazing as it was, but it was so kind and sweet of them to do. I really appreciated the thoughtfulness. We definitely recommend this lovely and charming apartment. Perfect for a couples gateway. The photos do not do it justice.

Charming and relaxing with the best views!

I can’t say enough good things about this property and its owners. David and Pamela were so thorough with their directions and their welcome instructions. When I arrived they suggested places to eat and sites to see the views from the deck are incredible and II can’t say enough good things about this property and its owners.
