Our family of 14 had a wonderful beach vacation at this property! The location was absolutely perfect—we were within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, shopping, bike rentals, and most of the activities we wanted to enjoy during our stay.Shauntelle was an exceptional host and went above and beyond to make our trip comfortable. She helped set us up with beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, a pop-up canopy, a Pack 'n Play, and there were even beach toys available at the house. Those thoughtful touches made traveling with a large family so much easier.The home was well laid out for our group. Each family had their own space and bathroom, which made everyone feel comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and Shauntelle provided extra bedding for the futons as well as plenty of towels for our stay.The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials we needed. We cooked at least one meal at the house every day, and the grill worked great. We also loved having the bike rental shop right next door—we rented nine bikes and had a blast exploring the area.One small detail we especially appreciated was the hose out front for rinsing off sandy feet before coming inside. It's clear that the property has been thoughtfully set up with beach-going families in mind.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped beach vacation home in a fantastic location!

Our family had an absolutely incredible stay at this amazing Beach & Bay House! I honestly can't imagine a better location in Newport Beach. Where else can you find a home with direct access to both the beach *and* the bay? It truly gave us the best of both worlds.We rented both units and it is is perfect for large groups, with 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms, and 2 dining areas. It felt like a luxury home away from home, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and spend time together.One of our favorite things was parking the car when we arrived and not needing it again until we left! Everything is within walking distance. The kids loved walking for ice cream, we rented great bikes from the shop right next door, spent time at the Fun Zone, rode the Balboa Ferry, relaxed at Baby Beach, and enjoyed the wonderful restaurants and shops nearby.Most of all, Shauntelle made us feel like VIP guests from the moment we booked. She was warm, professional, responsive, and genuinely cared that we had an unforgettable vacation. That level of service gives you complete confidence, especially if you're traveling from far away or internationally.This home offers the rare combination of an unbeatable location, an amazing house, and exceptional hospitality. We made memories we'll treasure forever and are already planning our return. Five stars isn't enough!

Great Location, Attentive Host

The location of this VRBO is incredible, right across from the beach. Shauntelle, the owner, is very attentive and goes above and beyond to ensure her guests have a wonderful stay. Plus, there's a ton to do nearby, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and cafes to explore.

Amazing beach getaway

The property was wonderful. Its location is right on the boardwalk and sand and close to everything. Right from the beginning Shauntelle was a wonderful host. She communicated quickly and thoughtfully and took care of every need and issue. We will definitely come and stay again.

Awesome place and location

Everything was asa advertised +. The location was great right on the beach, our host Shauntelle was great, very easy to work with and super knowledgeable about the place and the location in general. She gave us great local tips and we had a great time. I highly recommend this place and Shauntelle for a great beach vacation!

Excellent accommodations!

Our place at Newport Beach made for an unforgettable family trip! Our host Shauntelle made sure everything was perfect, including extra towels we requested. She even mailed us my wife’s earrings that were left behind. Going the extra mile made us realize we would stay here again without question!!

Family trip to Newport Beach

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the beach house! Shauntelle was incredibly accommodating and made sure everything was perfect for our visit. The house itself was fantastic, with easy access to the beach, which made it simple to enjoy the beautiful weather. The location couldn’t be better, with friendly locals and close proximity to shops and restaurants. We truly enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

Bachelor/Bachelorette Weekend

This first floor property was very spacious. We booked this location for a combined bach party weekend. 12 people total stayed the weekend and there was enough room for everyone. Property was very communicative the week leading up to our stay. The location is very close to many amenities located in Balboa. The property was very clean and it is easily adjusted to accommodate as needed.

My family and I had the opportunity to stay at this lovely beach front home. The location was absolutely awesome for what we were looking for and the manager / owner Shauntelle was absolutely awesome. They made us feel right at home and were willing to go the extra mile to make sure our stay was great. I would definitely book with Shauntelle again.

Great / fun / relaxing experience by the beach

My family and friends had a wonderful time in Newport Beach. The property was perfectly located across from the beach and only a short walk (one block) away from many fine restaurants and shops. Lot's of things to do for everyone. Or just kick back and relax (Me). Once we parked, never had to leave. Didn't want to. I plan on staying here again. Shauntelle was a gracious host/representative and a pleasure to deal with. I recommend this spot to anyone.

Location is fantastic

Great location. Right in front of the boardwalk and easy access to the beach and extra parking for guests. Balboa is so fun and lots of great food choices. Only 1.5 miles from Newport and you can walk or jog the boardwalk. Loved being so close to everything. Shauntelle (the host) was super easy to work with, kind, and helpful.

The host and location exceeded all expectations. First, the location: the front door to the home opens to the sounds of ocean waves and a small patio with chairs and a BBQ right along the beachside Newport Balboa walking and biking trail - we loved our morning and evening strolls along the trail with nearby restaurants, shopping and the beach steps from the front door. The home was clean, well furnished and organized with everything we needed. As great as the location was, the host further exceeded expectations. Shauntelle was attentive to ensuring we had everything we needed for the stay and made it a point to talk over the phone in advance to be sure she didn't miss anything. As she learned more about us and our plans, she offered the upstairs space at no additional cost. The upstairs has glorious views of the beach, ocean, pier, and perfect sunsets from the deck overlooking it all. The additional space allowed our big group to spread out comfortably and created additional privacy - it was truly a generous gift that made a wonderful stay even better. I highly recommend this home and host - based on our experience, they will exceed expectations!

My family just stayed at this property and Shauntelle was a amazing host .. professional and also extremely welcoming and wanting my family to have the absolute best possible time .. She walked me through everything TV set up .. Where everything is located on the property and wanted to know if we ever needed anything.. Great location, close to everything. Great rental for large groups, very spacious.

Property manager (Susan) was very responsive. The location was very convenient, reducing the need to drive anywhere far away. most lings you would need are within walking distance. The floor plan is spaciously laid out, which supports larger groups. Nice rental.

Perfect family reunion!

Hosted a family reunion at their boardwalk/oceanfront property and the experience/customer care was truly first class! The property is quite large considering it's right on the boardwalk and everything is updated. TVs in every room, updated showers, large comfortable beds. The location is right next to restaurants and bars, we walked everywhere. Blankets, beach chairs, beach tents, beach towels were complimentary and very much appreciated. Lastly but not least, we would like to give a shout out to our property representative Shauntelle. Her customer service was exceptional. She was very reachable and accommodating to our requests. 100% would rent this property again!
