Newly upgraded totally private 3 bedroom/2 bath with a mid century modern flair and unique breezy beachy theme (yes in the mountains - who doesn't love the beach!). Walkable to restaurants, breweries and Carrier park in West Asheville. All inclusive with private entrance and laundry use, fully equipped kitchen, and outdoor space to enjoy on the covered front porch. Serene location (dead end road) and yet walkable to restaurants and breweries in west asheville.
There are 3 smart TVs. Large living room with two couches and large dining table (has leaf and more chairs if need). Washer and dryer are located right off the kitchen. This is a split floor plan where the master bed/bath is on one side of the house and two other bedrooms and bathrooms are on the other side of the house. In addition, the two bedrooms/bath can be locked and is its own private suite - ideal for two couples looking for privacy or the like. There is a lovely private covered front porch with bistro table and chairs. *The backyard is not part of the rental, just the front porch with bistro table and chairs.
I am the property owner and live next door and give you privacy and am around only if you need me. I have 5 star reviews on another platform with this property and am new to VBRO...but have been hosting (super) since 2014 and love to provide quality service.
My grandmother and I stayed for a long weekend in Asheville and had a great experience. Susan was very responsive to my messages and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The home was also minutes away from restaurants, breweries, downtown, and a nice running/walking trail.
Loved our stay. The place was clean and well-maintained. Owner is very responsive, though we didn't need anything. Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer and experience more of Asheville.
The house was in very good condition and very clean. Coffee was supplied, which was greatly appreciated. We met Susan briefly as she lives next door and she is very easy to get along with and is in no way intrusive. If we are back in Asheville, we will certainly stay here again.
Home was great. Plenty of room. Originally planned for a larger party of 5 but only 3 of us made it. Very convenient to the downtown area with a number of nearby eateries. Our host provided a basket of goodies - breakfast bars, snacks, etc. A very nice and welcomed touch.
Very happy with our experience. A couple of things to take into account. Home has Wifi but no cable or streaming so be sure to bring your Roku or cast from phone (Actually one bedroom had a Roku TV with Roku remote but it wouldn't pair with living room TV). Also as advertised, driveway is steep and curved. We parked below and walked 75-100 feet. Finally, arriving after the dark the neighborhood originally seemed a little sketchy - speaking as a 70 year old. However, in the light and going forward, it wasn't an issue. I would now describe the neighborhood as "having character'. I really don't want to put anyone off with this because we liked our VRBO stay and would definitely come back.
Mountains to Sea Escape stay was 5 stars all the way. Creatively designed, inviting, cozy, and clean with a lot of thoughtful amenities and is even better than the pictures portray.
The property is in a ideal location, secluded and private, but close to all that West Asheville has to offer and downtown is a quick 8 min drive.
I had everything I needed and would stay again, Susan was very accommodating.
I take great care in making sure my guests are well taken care of and pay attention to details, always trying to imagine how I would feel staying here and what would be needed. All you have to do is show up and relax!
It's a unique spot that is private yet can walk to many places in west asheville and is situated in between west asheville proper and river arts district in a location called "east/west Asheville" at Beacham's Curve.
