Vacation Bliss at Portofino 2 Bedroom

Recent updates in 2022 make this the perfect vacation choice. We added in new couches, new motorized window shades in the bedrooms/den, new den rug, repainted kitchen cabinets and the entire condo was repainted. This 2 bedroom Portofino condo is located in the newest Tower 5 and it is ready for your arrival.
It is great for family getaways, fun and relaxation!!
The bedrooms both have king beds and the master bedroom has a high quality Temper Pedic mattress . The condo has stunning views from the Sound from the bedrooms, den and balcony. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and entertainment
Portofino is superb!!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was very comfortable and we loved the view. The condo was furnished with everything we needed and even had some beach chairs that came in handy for the kiddos. We would definitely stay here again.

Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Pensacola! Great view and great host. Everything was super clean and the kitchen fully stocked!Loved every second of our stay.

Place was great! Beds were comfortable, lots of space, loved the retractable shades, loved even having a separate rate ice maker in the fridge for coolers we took to the beach.

Great Escape

This beautiful property was exactly as described. During the holiday weekend, the beach strip is a burdensome headache to navigate but staying here has all the amenities you’ll need without needing to leave the property. The check-in and checkout process was seamless. The unit was very clean and updated.

Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Portofino. It is a fantastic location for a family getaway. The condo was lovely, with extremely comfortable beds. We had a stunning view of the bay and witnessed some amazing sunsets. Although we encountered an issue with a running toilet, Kathy promptly resolved it the same day. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone.

Perfect stay!

Wonderful stay. Everything was so clean and we had everything we needed. Kathy was very kind and responsive and even stopped by to say hello. Portofino was a nice property as well with lots to do for the kids and a good restaurant. I didn’t use the gym but my husband said it was one of the best fitness centers. We would definitely go back.

short vacation before school starts

We have traveled to the Portofino in the past. This was the first 2 bedroom unit we've stayed in. Smaller, yes but just as comfortable. Couches were very comfortable after a long day in the sun, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make our nightly meals. Will definitely stay again if ever in need of another 2 bedroom.

Relaxing stay

Clean and a well stocked kitchen. Comfortable furniture for my family of 5. It rained some while we were there so we enjoyed several DVDs included with the place. Comfy mattresses. Kathy was great to work with. Thank you for a fun vacation!

Suboptimal Stay in bare minimum condo

We expected a relaxed beach vacation and arrived to find over 2000 beach retreat kids which really ruined the week. We were not notified when booking and were casually mentioned among scheduling messages after full non-refundable payment was received. This place hosts these for the week, and they seem like good kids, but the entire facility is overwhelmed by them. The elevators, the pools all midday all full of way more people than it was designed for. This created a taxing, non-relaxing experience. Even the evening pool time was off because the water was visibly dirty from so many people. I wish our owner gave us fair warning: the level of coordination for 57 busloads is not random or recent. As for the home, it was barely ok. No coffee pods, and the KCup water reservoir had visible mold I had to wash out. The bedding was ok, but I would rather cotton sheets for this price range. I felt like the owner provided the bare minimum, minimal soap, no shampoo, no homey anything (not even a sign in book). This is VRBO, lets not be so transactional. All in all, suboptimal stay due to poor communications. Would not recommend or return. I did reach out to the owner to provide opportunity to make it right and the response was defensive and customer satisfaction was not a priority.

Parking

We had 2 assigned parking spots. My husband and I drove separately because he had to go to work and I didn’t want to be without a vehicle. No problem there because we were provided with two parking spots in the garage. One of the owners decided to double park which left one of our spots unavailable. The management told us we had to park one of our vehicles outside because the people that own property take precedence. After a lengthy conversation with staff, they found me another parking spot. During the conversation, I was told that if I wasn’t being so difficult and just park outside this wouldn’t be a problem. I informed them that I am not the problem. The person, (whom is an owner of one of the condos) didn’t double park, that this wouldn’t have been an issue. He informed me that their residence take precedence over renters. For this reason I will never rent here again.

Portofino Stay

I rented this property for my daughter, her husband and my granddaughter. They absolutely really enjoyed staying in this condo. They were very comfortable. My daughter stays in rental properties all the time because of being an AAU Volleyball Coach and she stated that this was the best one that she has ever stayed in. The owner was very thoughtful in what they provided for the guests and their needs while staying in this condo. The condo was clean and well taken care of. They were very impressed. Thank you Kathy for being such a great host and sharing your property.
