Excellent Location and Home

We stayed two nights and have stayed in Frederickburg for years. This place was perfect and in a great location. Small home has everything you need to be comfortable.

Weekend Getaway

Great property for a couple to stay in on a weekend getaway. Close enough to town, but still has a secluded and quiet feel to it. We’d stay here again if it’s available.

Relaxation station

If you’re wanting to get away for some peace and quiet, this is the place. This house is brand new! We love staying in the Appian Way properties because of the private hot tubs and the deer that come by in the mornings.

I do recommend bringing some bag chairs for back patio, there is a picnic table but if you’re wanting to relax and drink wine or coffee bring chairs. You wake up in a ranch setting with deer running around, and get to enjoy a quick drive into town to spend the day. The place was very clean and the rental company was great to deal with. Highly recommend trying this place out.

A Fabulously Beautiful and Peaceful Getaway

I traveled with my husband to celebrate his birthday and we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves all weekend. We appreciated the heads up concerning the natural wildlife and it was amazing to see the deer and wild turkeys passing by the rear porch. I selected this home with a hot tub so we could soak in the evenings. It was so wonderful that we find ourselves measuring our rear porch back at home. We absolutely need all the different massage zones! The fireplace worked perfectly with just a single switch and warmed the rest of the room gently and slowly. It was nice to feel peaceful away from the world yet fully safe. Main Street was a short drive and we were able to enjoy the fullness of the town. One the first trip we showed up in matching t-shirts and a local woman offered to take a few pictures of us. The people we met were friendly and have the “life is good here” vibe. We shopped for a few snacks to cook and prepare at the cottage and visited a few wonderful restaurants in town and a short distance away.Café Dimona, Burger Burger, Texas Sunrise, Chocolata, and Aguasta Vin winery. We appreciate the check in and our procedures and did not need anything else from the site managers. The linens and dishes were clean, temp was pleasant, and the water in the shower was noticeably soft. We have highly recommended this area to friends and may even spoil our adult kids with a special getaway!
