The house was extremely clean, very comfortable, and the location was safe. If I could rate 6 out of 5, I would! 100% would recommend. We will absolutely be staying here again!

Great Place to Call Our Own While Visiting Family

Great property and location. This older home has been beautifully updated. Some quirkiness because it is an older home - but that’s to be expected. We had no problems with the home and it was a perfect home away from home!

Wonderful stay…Short but sweet

Stanley Cozyside is a jewel! Well-equipped and immaculately clean. The side porch and back patio make it feel like home. Can’t wait to come back when we visit family again. Geraldine and Filipe are responsive and helpful.

Cute cottage house with lots of room

Was in the Mason, OH area for Ultimate Frisbee Championships. The owner has done a great job in updating and renovating. In very cute neighborhood. We had three adults with our own BDR which was very much appreciated!

Excellent updated house!

We were in town for a tournament at Warren County Sports Park. Excellent location, clean house, great outdoor seating and space for teens to throw a ball around. Everyone was happy! (We also enjoyed visiting the candy store downtown, and swire inn for lunch)

Super place

This was a lovely recently renovated house that was VERY clean. The kitchen was well appointed even with a nice array of spices. 3 queen sized beds were comfy. Very nice neighborhood with sidewalks for walking. Plenty of parking. Wonderful water pressure in the shower. Very easy to communicate with the hosts. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Great stay. Very clean.

We enjoyed our three night stay. The house was exactly as pictured and very clean. Although we weren’t at the house much, we did spend a little time there one afternoon. The neighborhood was walkable with sidewalks, and street parking was ample. There was also a parking pad around back that we did not use. There were 2 cute little decks with chairs to relax on in nice weather. The house had everything we needed.

Quaint but spacious

It is bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. The kitchen isnt big enough to cook a Thanksgiving meal, but a good size for five people to stay and use it for a vacation place. The bedrooms are spacious. The bathroom has a seperate shower from the tub and they are both a good size. The nooks,and brick floors off the kitchen, the decorative fireplaces, the lights all give it that extra charm that makes it special. The three bedrooms and full bath are all upstairs. 83

Perfect home away from home

We were there for a graduation for my Grandson. He graduated on Monday Butler Tech and his high school graduation was supposed to on Tuesday. Due to bad weather it was not held until Thursday evening. I contacted the host and they extended our stay until Friday. Every thing is top notch. The beds slept very good and it was such a nice and quiet neighborhood. The host is are very nice and easy to work with!! I would book this again over and over 10,000%.

No problems

Bring some pillows if you like thicker pillows. House only had thin pillows. Suggest that changes along with bedrooms get backboards on beds. Beds comfortable. No problems other than that at all. Old home but the shower was great. Lots of pressure. Owners did a good job with basics needed for stay.

House was OK, bait and switch on fees

The day before checking in the property manager contacted us and demanded we pay extra per person staying in the house if we had more than 2 people. Of course we did as it’s a 3 bedroom house. And threatened to kick us out of the house if more than 2 people showed up. Also said we would be charged if a guest came by the house (so my oldest daughter we were visiting for graduation wasn’t allowed to come see us???). The whole thing with the manager was ridiculous. Never experienced anything like it before and have used VRBO many many times. The house was fine. Older, basic, but fine enough.

This is a very unfair review from Justin. Please refer to all previous guests review, rating their experience 10/10 . Justin made a reservation for 2 guests a year ago. About 2 weeks before check-in, Justin contacted us wanting to cancel his reservation, and demanding a full refund because he found a hotel that fit his needs. We, as stated in our Vrbo site, have a strict cancelation policy. Therefore, a full refund at this point, after holding his reservation for a year, was not possible. A reminder of the house rules with check-in info was sent to Justin 2 days before his arrival. At this point, Justin informed us that there were 6 people in his group, and if we were not agreeable with taking all 6 people without any extra fees, he wanted a full refund. Per Vrbo guidelines, if guests enter a property with more guests that the ones on the reservation, Vrbo can cancel the reservation and guest have to leave the property without any refund. This was informed to Justin, who then , wanted to add the extra guests to his reservation. In an effort to please Justin, we didn’t charge him the full fee for adding 4 extra guests on check-in date, which is more than adding them before check-in date, but It looks like this was not enough for Justin. Justin was not only demanding, but rude.
