Dear Paula, we're so glad that you spent a good holiday and that you would like to revisit Villa Veronica. We thank you very much for your feedback, which gives us the opportunity to highlight some details for guests. For some years, mainly due to the pandemic, to ensure maximum hygiene toward guests we have been making bed linen and towels (which is sterilised) in a sealed plastic bag, as well as they are delivered to us from the laundry. Obviously, as indicated on the website in the "amenities" section, point "notes", beds are made for free if guests request it before arrival. In this way guests have the advantage of seeing at check-in that the mattress covers are always clean and also, if the number of our guests is less than the maximum capacity of the beds, guests can decide in which room to settle down! Regarding check-in and check-out, our mission is to do everything to satisfy our guests and in fact, as you yourself have pointed out, we were at your disposal for a late afternoon check-in. However, villa Veronica is a really coveted location, so most Saturdays we receive guests who arrive on time by 1:30 pm sharp, and you can certainly understand that if we postponed check-in after 9:00 am, it would be literally impossible to clean such a large villa, tidy up the garden and make the perfect pool for arriving guests. In many villas, hotels and bed and breakfast check-in starts at 2:30-3:00 pm and guests are forced to have lunch out; we, instead, are pleased to allow guests to have lunch comfortably in villa Veronica right after their arrival. We hope to host you again in the future!
