A wonderful place to stay! The hosts thought of everything you could need, including a water bowl for our pups. We got to explore the surrounding area with great recommendations and stay in a beautiful cabin that was cozy and welcoming. The hot tub and game room were big draws for us, as well as the serene atmosphere outside. Truly loved our stay and would be glad to do it again!

We got there everything was in order easy to get in. The hot tub was great! The access to all 3 pools and rec facility were very easy. Everything was as described. My only regret was not staying longer!

Cottage was exactly as advertised. Very clean and well stocked. Very easy check-in and execellent communication with host Enjoyed the pools, golf and visiting Berkeley Springs.The hidden jem was Shepardstown.

This guest was absolutely wonderful. They treated the cabin as if it were their own and left the place so clean it was hard to tell anyone had even stayed there. Communication was smooth and respectful throughout the stay. We are very grateful for how well they cared for the space and would gladly host them again anytime. Highly recommended!

My partner and I visited "Grateful Moments" retreat for a one week vacation. The house is stationed in a quiet forested neighborhood. It is very peaceful here. The house has numerous amenities that increase your comfort tremendously- for example central air conditioning, dishwasher, garbage disposal, a washer/dryer, a bathroom on the same floor as the master bedroom. Additionally, the house has wonderful recreational aspects. We enjoyed the game room! We played ping pong, and pool. Also, the deck and backyard are stocked with things to make your experience feel like a vacation! There is a large grill, smoker, hot tub, and fire pit. We love the neighborhood- having access to not just one but two community swimming pools, is such a delight. I have worked with our host for several summers now and they are very quick in their responsiveness, and have the friendliest demeanor. In fact, their kindness brings us back to the Woods. I am deeply grateful for them sharing this home.

Great weekend away

Our family loved this cabin. Lots of games and entertainment for the kids, nice quality kitchen items for cooking, plenty of relaxing options on the back deck and it was very well kept and clean. Highly recommend.

We were very disappointed with the condition the home was left in after your stay. Upon check-out, we found excessive trash, including beer and wine bottles, food left throughout the house—including under beds, on the deck, and inside the BBQ grill. The curtain rod was broken, and several towels were so badly stained with blood they had to be thrown away. Additionally, dishes were left unwashed with food in the sink, all the lights were left on, the bathtub was left full of water, and the hot tub water was completely ruined. Due to the condition of the property, we incurred 8 additional hours of cleaning, as well as the cost of a replacement curtain rod and new towels. Because of the damages and the level of disrespect shown to the property, we are requesting reimbursement for the extra cleaning and damages, and we will not be able to host you again in the future. The cabin was clean and cozy. private yet not out in the middle of nowhere. A perfect relaxing retreat. The kitchen was well stocked and the cookware was really nice. The extra amenities available swimming pool, golf and sports complex were a plus even though we didn't get a chance to use them, hopefully next time because we would definitely return.

Beautiful cabin retreat!

We had a lovely time staying at the cabin. It was extremely well stocked for cooking, had lots of space to relax, and we loved all the games. Hot tub was wonderful and the view of the snow falling out the huge windows was so peaceful.

Our quick getaway

We had a wonderful relaxing stay. The host made everything so easy. House had everything we needed. The Hottub was the best. We all enjoyed coming back to the house after our adventures and relaxing in the hottub.
