Buck Haven dispose de deux chambres king avec une literie moelleuse. Des armoires en hickory personnalisées, des planchers en hickory et des meubles en bois de cèdre fabriqués en Amérique décorent la cabine. Vous pouvez vous détendre sur les meubles confortables Lazy Boy dans la grande salle et profiter de la superbe cheminée à gaz en pierre du sol au plafond. La salle de bain au rez-de-chaussée comprend une grande baignoire à jets et une douche à l'italienne. . La cuisine a des comptoirs en granit, des appareils GE Slate HE et est équipée de tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour préparer un délicieux repas gastronomique. Little piece of heaven

My wife and I both work many hours and we were looking for a place to unplug from the hustle. We wanted to unwind with our two dogs and enjoy some peace and quit. The cabin did not disappoint. We found ourselves whispering to each other outside because of how quit it was. The location was absolutely perfect. Many trails close by along with some state parks. The cabin was absolutely immaculate with its cleanliness as well as the wonderful amenities.check in was a breeze and uneventful. I highly recommend this wonderful property if you want to get away from the day to day grind.

Relaxing, peaceful cabin

We enjoyed our time at Buck Haven. The house was well stocked with all the amenities you could want. Our host was very welcoming and kept us updated with everything we needed to know. We will definitely be coming back.

Perfect Winter Retreat

Buck Haven was the most organized, well stocked rental we have experienced in our 20 years of travel. Cooking at the cabin is a breeze! The property manager was available by text and ensured we transitioned smoothly in and out of the cabin - she even made sure we had fruit/coffee/and fresh farm eggs. Our pup came with us and enjoyed long walks down the driveway and the seclusion of the cabin. A cozy dog blanket was even provided for him! The cabin was very clean, spacious, and we are already planning to come back with friends to rent Buck Haven and the only other nearby property, Dove's Nest. These properties couldn't be better maintained. Beautiful, authentic cabin stay with modern amenities!

Christmas week

This cabin is amazing! Beautiful wood, stone fireplace, soaring ceilings and windows, with beautiful craftsmanship. Fully appointed with so many special touches ... fruit bowl, fresh eggs, numerous spices, Kcups, and complimentary toiletries. The wraparound, covered deck was such a peaceful, quiet place that the dog and I didnt want to go inside! I highly recommend!

Relaxing weekend getaway

Buck Haven is spectacular! It exceeded our expectations in every way. The home is well organized, stocked and spotless. Janie is super responsive and accommodating. We felt so welcome with the sweet note and treats (even for our four-legged friend) upon arrival. The cabin is nestled in the woods just outside of town providing just the seclusion and quiet space we were looking for. The home itself does not disappoint either. It has that “wow factor” upon entering. Curl up with a good book and your furry friend infront of the fireplace, or relax on the porch swing, or buy the campfire! Every option is perfect.

Perfect get away

We had a wonderful weekend at Buck Haven. Janie and Cy, the hosts have thought of everything to make for a perfect weekend stay. The cabin is so comfortable and the views are amazing. We love sitting out on the deck and enjoying the scenery. Check in and out is very easy and they were very flexible. This was the second time we have stayed there and we hope to be able to do it again next year.

The property's architectural design is very well done & attention to detail is awesome. The cleanliness was impeccable. Manager's communication & special touches sets the stay at Buck Haven apart from all the other like properties There is nothing that wasn't perfect. Looking forward to coming back for our 5th time.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

This is a beautiful cabin that is very private but still just a short drive to Berkeley Springs . It was immaculate, very organized and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need. The host, Janie was great and quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely rent again if we return to Berkeley Spri gs.

An amazing property

The location is perfect, quiet and secluded however just minutes to a great state park with lots to do. And about 8 miles to town. The cabin itself is stunning, every amenity you can ask for. The hosts were so kind and responsive.

Amazing Cabin

We have stayed in other cabins over the years and this one is definitely at the top of the list for being the best. It was so neat, clean, and well organized. We were able to unpack our things and begin to relax immediately. Janie was great to work with and gave us good suggestions for places to eat and things to do. This is definitely a little jem for sure.

Perfect Anniversary Trip

Looking for a romantic weekend getaway in the woods? This is the spot! Janie and Cy surprised us with a generous gift of snacks and a handwritten card upon arrival, as well as a dozen eggs from their own chickens! The cabin was in tip top shape for cleanliness and organization. Everything was well stocked and provided for us. We spent time at the campfire, grilling and swinging on the porch, making cocktails in the kitchen, and spending time with our dog who felt just at home. We’re incredibly thankful for this rejuvenating anniversary trip and hope to spend more here in the future!

This was the cleanest most organized VRBO I have booked. The kitchen literally had every tool you could think about needing and they provided plenty of supplies. Janie was the best about communication and very helpful! We were welcomed with a lovely fruit and snack bowl as well as fresh eggs! Definitely a 20 out of 10! The location is beautiful, the furniture and bedding is very comfortable and they provided plenty of firewood. I definitely would love to return.

Relaxing weekend getaway

We had a fantastic time at the cabin! So beautifully built. They thought of everything. It’s well stocked and comfortably decorated. Two comfy king size beds. Gorgeous bathroom with divine water pressure after a long hike. Remote and relaxing! Our dogs loved the wrap around enclosed porch. Janie was super easy to communicate with and very accommodating. She was so sweet to leave us a care package and wish my husband a happy birthday. Thoughtful touch! We really enjoyed our time here!

Long weekend in Berkeley Springs

We came to this cabin for a long weekend getaway and had a lovely time. The cabin has everything we needed and more, and was very quiet and comfortable. It is within a short drive to Berkeley Springs for grocery, restaurants and the spa but far enough away that we didn’t have any noise from town. We had only one negative which was a sewage odor in the home intermittently through the weekend, which wasn’t enough to disrupt our stay and was reported to the manager. Otherwise gorgeous cabin and location and we look forward to coming back!

The Perfect Long Weekend!

My wife and I wanted to get away for a long weekend to celebrate our Anniversary and this cabin appeared to be a great choice. We had no idea how perfect it would be. The cabin is beautifully decorated and stocked with absolutely everything you need. The manager was very responsive when coordinating our arrival, stay and departure. We love the outdoors and went on several hikes at Cacapon State Park just a couple miles away. While we were there it snowed over night Friday and all day Saturday. We hiked up a fire road at the cabin while it was snowing. The beautiful snow views through the windows, cable TV, internet and a puzzle provided a wonderful relaxing day. The owner plowed the 6”-8” of snow in the morning. We might have stayed a couple more days if it weren’t for that inconvenience called “work”. Thank you Janie and Cy for a perfect weekend! Could not have enjoyed ourselves any better!

Hello and welcome to Buck Haven,

I'm Janie and I manage Buck Haven and the Dove's Nest for Cy who is the builder and owner of the cabins. Cy also built our home and we couldn't be any happier with it. We are neighbors and the best of friends. Cy built both cabins in 2016.

Cy has been building custom homes in the Berkeley Springs area for almost 40 years. He is great with a hammer and nails but doesn't know how to turn on a computer so that is where I pick up for him.

I live a half mile away from Buck Haven and Cy lives about a mile away so if you need anything or have a problem we can quickly respond to your needs.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Cy and Janie both love living in Berkeley Springs just down the road from Buck Haven. The cabin is located in the historic spa community of Berkeley Springs which is one of the best known art-filled communities on the east coast. Gently nestled into the West Virginia Mountains our getaway is located about 90 minutes from the Washington/Baltimore metropolitan area it is an easy travel from the BWI and IAD airports as well as our regional airport HGR in Hagerstown Maryland.

With close by warm mineral springs, galleries, antique shops, massage therapist, holistic therapist, live music, theater and a year round schedule of festivals it makes this the prefect vacation getaway.

Buck Haven is two miles from Cacapon Resort State Park which boast beautiful trails and overlooks, golfing, hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, a lake for summer swimming, summer paddle boating and summer canoeing. The C&O Canal Rails-to-Trails with a paved and dirt trails for biking and jogging runs along the Potomac River (the closet entries are in Hancock MD and Paw Pay WV about 15 miles from the cottage); additionally there are near-by Civil War sites include Fort Frederick State Park, Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Antietam National Battle Field and Gettysburg National Military Park Pennsylvania.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Buck Haven is handicap accessible. There is a ramp to the porch with no stairs to enter the cabin. The main floor has no stairs and includes a bedroom and full bathroom. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with two grip bars and a handheld shower wond. There is also a grip bar at the toilet. We have two styles of bath chairs and elevated toilet seats, an adjustable wall attachable shower head holder and a Gorilla Grip shower mat available on request.
