Vous recherchez pour votre escapade à la plage parfaite? The Green Gull Cottage est un endroit parfait. Profitez de votre séjour dans un joliment décoré, trois chambres, trois et un demi-bain 1800 pieds carrés chalet en bord de mer situé à 3 minutes à pied de la plage. Le niveau supérieur dispose d'une cuisine entièrement équipée (cafetière, mixeur, gaufrier etc), salle à manger avec des sièges pour 8 + 2 tabourets de bar. Le salon avec grand balcon offre une vue sur le golfe, la baie et le lagon et est équipé d'un 50 '' TV et surround DVD sonore. Chaque chambre dispose d'un service de télévision, WiFi, et un service de téléphone fixe. La cuisine a aussi une seconde zone de bar avec évier et réfrigérateur de boissons. Trois chambres, chacune avec une salle de bain privée, sont situés à l'étage inférieur. Maître a un lit king size, un balcon et un bureau. La deuxième chambre a un lit queen et balcon. Troisième chambre a un grand lit et lits superposés. Un lave-linge et sèche-linge sont à votre disposition. Toutes les serviettes (à l'exception des grandes serviettes de plage), savon de bain, cuisine / détergent lave-vaisselle, etc sont fournis. Il suffit donc de faire vous et préparez-vous à avoir des vacances merveilleuses.

Great House, Ideal Location

It was perfect. Just 3 miles from the beach. The house was adorable. The owner was extremely responsive. We didn’t realize how far away the grocery stores were So you’re gonna want to stock up before you get to the house. Other than that, the only other critical feedback would be that the kitchen was pretty sparse and when I went to make pancakes I had to use a pot for a mixing bowl. The mosquitoes are real – bring lots of hugs spray

Family getaway

Easy check in/check out-fantastic location

This is our 2nd time staying in the Point West neighborhood-first time at this house. Alan was very informative pre-stay, and easy to get a hold of before/during stay. The house itself is lovely and clean. The kids loved being right next to the beach and the house had just about everything we could’ve wanted/needed.

Relaxing stay

We enjoyed our stay at this West End Galveston property. The house is clean with plenty of room. Short walk to the beach. Nice views from the balconies. The kitchen is well stocked. The property owner was very responsive.

This place is so pretty, the grounds are beautiful, the beach is so nice! We actually started to think about buying a home in Point west! Our Grand baby enjoyed his first time on the beach. We will be back! We will rent, more fun!

Nice Beach House

The Green Gull is a nice property within easy walking distance of the beach. It is tastefully furnished and the sunsets from the upper deck are spectacular. Alan is an excellent host as is extremely informative about his property and the surrounding area. The built-in gate for the stairs was a big plus for the safety of our young grandkids. We will definitely consider renting from Alan again!

We loved our stay. The house was perfect = room for 4 adults and 2 children - and bathrooms to support all. Close to the beach. Al contacted us with the check in details and then again letting us know of a possible traffic delay on 45 suggesting a different way to go.... We all agreed we want to come back .

Laid back, comfortable and easy

This property is perfectly located for visiting the beach. You can walk the boardwalk or drive back 1/2 mile to be right on the beach without a walk. The house has everything you need! And the bed are fantastic! Great rest and relaxation. We cooked every meal and had everything we needed. Thanks, Alan, for sharing your space in Pointe West.

Nice stay in a great location

Super comfy beds and plenty of space for a party of 8. Close to beach and a short drive to the club house and pool. Baby equipment (gate, playpen) was a plus for our group. Plenty of towels, toiletries, and some bonus beach toys. Just a few caveats: Would not recommend planning to walk to the club house -- it was definitely further than the 0.3 miles indicated. Closer to 1 mile. Cooking and cleaning supplies were adequate but definitely not impressive. Would be good for a small group, but was difficult to cook for 8+. For example, we planned to bake cookies and found only a half-sized baking sheet and one 8 inch baking pan. There were a few spices but limited baking supplies (no flour, cinnamon, vanilla) Deck and deck furniture could use some updates. Found some exposed nails on the deck, plus there is a loose railing on the main stairs to the property.

A nice place to stay

The house is beautifully furnished with nice touches and knick-knacks, like pictures of beach chairs and beach scenes. The upstairs is nicely furnished with a large dining table and 8 comfy chairs, the sofa and chairs in the tv area are nice also. WiFi worked as promised (except each night, it seemed like there was a huge slow-down, probably because every home in the area was watching TV). The bedroom was also very nice, and 3 full bath for each bedroom was MUCH appreciated. All towels and soaps were provided. The beds were comfortable. The A/C worked pretty well considering it was in the 90's each day. Good location to the beach. Hair dryer in the bathrooms, just too many nice things to mention. I recommend.

Wonderful stay!

My husband and I and our two kids (5 and 4 years) stayed recently and had a blast. The house was very clean and more than enough space for the 4 of us. The beach was a short walk from the house and very easy to access for daily beach trips. Our kids are already asking to go back. We will definitely visit again!

Green Gull rocks!

Nicely accommodated beach house. Great open space and huge kitchen. Bring your own spices if you plan to cook, cupboards locked except for salt and pepper. Nice backyard and easy access to the beach. Really enjoyed the Green Gull House.

Very happy

We (3 adults, 15, 11, 6 5 1) stayed Monday through Friday. Property was exactly as described, clean, with everything we needed. Only thing I would change would be the distance to "town" but that is just my preference. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great Fun

We enjoyed the location of the beach house just a short walk to the beach plus there was a public road that you could drive your things to the walk over bridge savings some steps. The beach house was really nice, very clean and had great amenities. Loved the balconies to watch fireworks or just to enjoy the evening after a fun day at the beach. There are a lot of stairs because it is two levels, but we felt it added to our exercise for the week. The beach was awesome. It was not crowded, clean, wide and you could take a nice long walk. Pointe West is away from the busy part of Galveston but close enough if you want to spend some time in the heart of things. We will be staying here again!

Fantastic Property!

My family and I take an annual trip to Galveston for the Easter weekend. We have stayed in several homes, but this one was by far the best one we have stayed at. Location was fantastic and easy to find. Super close to the beach and great views. Loved that it has space for three kids, my mom, my husband and me. We eat every meal on the outdoor balcony and it also made a great place for just some peace and quiet. Loved our stay and will definitely recommend and stay again. Owner was great to communicate with and overall just a wonderful experience.

Spring Break Getaway w/ a twist

We had stayed as a family of 4 before in Galveston at different locations. This was our first time on the southern tip and we planned that because of spring break. Our two boys are 10 & 14 and we weren't interested in the spring break crowd. This location definitely served that goal. The twist came in bringing our exchange student from Taiwan who had never been to a US beach. So, we introduced him to the Texas Riviera! :*) The home was very nice and my youngest who loves to fish caught his largest fish every in the pond in back! What a great way to start our vacation. The layout is very efficient and the decks are wonderful. As with most multi-floor units, the bedrooms are on a separate floor from the kitchen/dining/living room which is not ideal for those that have trouble going up and down steps. Many of the sundries that we've worried about at other rentals (e.g. handsoap, shampoo/bar soap, towels) were nicely supplied. The only thing we had to purchase while there was a cookie sheet for cooking chicken nuggets in the oven. All-in-all a very nice location that we will definitely rent again in the future if it's available.
