Fantastic view from top floor condo overlooking West Bay in Pointe West

Bayview Vista is located in Pointe West a community on the west end of Galveston Island. This top floor bay side condo is 1450 sq ft and has spectacular views of the bay and the beach. The quiet side of the island is known for relaxation and tranquility. The unit is part of Pointe West which is a premier community offering abundant amenities. There are miles of walking, bike and golf cart trails that connect the resort from beach to bay. The bay side offers spectacular sunsets, a lazy river pool that meanders through an array of palm trees, a hot tub, grills and more. The beach club features an infinity pool with spa, fitness center, restaurant/bar, gift shop and kids activity room. Pointe West is located 20 minutes away from the crowds of the island. The drive is manageable to visit Schlitterbahn Water park, Moody Gardens, The Amusement Pier, The Strand, Golf, etc. for additional activity.

3 Bedroom 2 bath condo is on the top floor with awesome views of the bay and the beach. The master bedroom has a king size bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed, and the 3rd bedroom has two single beds. A full size washer and dryer is in the unit. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances, there is large flat screen televisions in the living room and all bedrooms that have cable and NetFlix. The unit is wired with high speed free internet access. Stocked with paper products, condiments and toiletries the condo is set for your vacation. The patio is large and great for gathering to eat, relax and enjoying the most amazing sunsets in Texas.

WRISTBAND POLICY
The Property Owners Association (POA) at Pointe West collects a wristband fee of $25 per guest for each guest over the age of 4 (children younger than 4 do not pay) for use of the Beach Club and Sunset Pools during your stay at Pointe West. This is a onetime fee during your stay, not a daily fee. No wristbands are required to enjoy the beautiful beaches at Pointe West this fee is only for use of pools, fitness center, and other amenities. A reservation has been made in your name for your rental period at Pointe West. The wristbands are available at the Beach Club reception every day during business hours (9-5 off season, 9-6 peak season). The physical address for the Beach Club is 4161 Pointe West Drive, Galveston, TX. 77554. You do not have to purchase a wristband to enjoy the restaurant/bar at Pointe West. Your reservation will allow you to receive a temporary band to enjoy this business amenity.

THE SUNSET POOL ON THE BAYSIDE OF POINTE WEST IS HEATED FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT YEAR-ROUND. THE BEACH CLUB POOL IS NOT HEATED AS IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP AN INFINITY POOL WARM. BOTH POOLS HAVE LARGE HOT TUBS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT.

Excellent Property

It was spotlessly clean with nice views. An elevator and a great a/c. King bed was very comfortable and the shower was GREAT. We ate breakfast on one larger balcony and had cocktails on the small intimate owner bedroom balcony. Covered parking a plus. Will definitely stay again the next time we are in town.

Everything was perfect . Any and all questions were answered quickly by the property manager. The views were beautiful. Close to the pools and the beach. We plan to make this a standing yearly vacation. Highly recommend !!!!

Awesome View!

Very much enjoyed the Bay view. Condo was very clean and a well stocked kitchen. The TV in the living room was difficult to figure out and we could not get regular TV, but we could in the master bedroom. Very nice stay!

Enjoyable stay

Clean and comfortable. Relaxing views from the large patio. Bit far to walk to the pools and beach. Only a few very minor items: Need more silverware, sharp knives, pot holders, a new shower curtain, adjustment to the patio door (hard to shut) and 2 lights in the kitchen turn on and off randomly. Overall a great spot.

Very nice condo.

Very clean and well taken care of. Owner left “essentials” such as coffee, shampoo, zip lock bags, extra trash bags, dishwasher and washer soap which was very helpful. Only downside was having to drive to get to the beach, but it was just across the street.

Clean Condo with Great View of the Bay

The condo was ready for early checkin and everything was clean and tidy. We met the property manager who was very gracious and the condo was stocked with plenty of paper towels, tp, trash bags, soap, etc. We needed some table salt and she had some for us. 🙂 Although the pools are not within walking distance, they’re a short drive and the peaceful environment surrounding the property is a good trade off. The bay view is beautiful. We would stay there again.

The condo was beautiful. Very clean and well stocked. Owners were quick to respond to questions. The only let down for us was not a reflection of the condo owners, but more Pointe West in general. The lazy river pool is either broken, or no longer a lazy river pool. We have been staying at Pointe West for the last 6 years, and our kiddos always loved the lazy river pool. The year before it was down to one weak jet, and this year there was none. On the plus side they have replaced the grass with astroturf which has solved the pesky ant issues. Overall we had a wonderful time, and will certainly be back. Please note that the con I mentioned is by no means a reflection of the condo owners. It is the reponsibility of the resort.

Perfect

This location is a short drive from the hustle and bustle of the “beach” scene of Galveston, chain restaurants, entertainment etc. but If you don’t want all the traffic and people around, this is the location to book. The beach and the club was not crowded and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and cozy. The condo was surprisingly spacious and our group was able to spend time together in the living room and dining table and we all had the space to be alone in our rooms. The hosts were responsive and pleasant. More importantly, we were able to check-in early 😊. 10/10 would definitely come back.

Very nice but

The only complaint we had was the master bed. It sags terribly. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch the entire week. Other than that we really liked the location, access to the pools and beach and the cleanliness of the place.

Nice place, well kept, great location...

Nice benefits of using community pool. The closest public beach access has you walking a lot, but it wasnt crowded. The day we arrived the elevator didn't work and we had to haul everything for our family up 4 flights of stairs. The next day, the elevator worked. The day we left and haul everything back down, it did not work. The people there said it's common & happens a lot and can't be guaranteed to be working. Because of this, we will be staying elsewhere next time. The property and surrounding areas were very well kept and nice.

We are glad you enjoyed the property that we manage, but we cannot control the elevator situation unfortunately. Bayview Vista and Pointe West is a beautiful community, but the elements are hard on the elevators. The community is starting an elevator replacement process, but it will be long and very expensive. Beautiful and Relaxing

I spent a week with my 3 kids ages 8 - 11. The condo was absolutely perfect. We had plenty of space and everything I needed in the kitchen to prepare meals and snacks. The breeze and sunset view from the balcony was delightful. We road our bikes around the properties and used the tunnel under the highway which my kids loved. We visited both swimming pools during our stay. I thought the lazy river would be larger but it was fine even with several kids in it playing. There were plenty of poolside chairs, even during the busiest times of the day. The beach was beautiful and the water exceptionally clear this year for Galveston. We had a great time and I would definitely recommend this property. Surprisingly, we only needed mosquito spray for one late evening bike ride and the morning of our departure. The elevator is a little temperamental but that’s to be expected in the salt air. Maintenance was quick to respond when necessary. Bonus, the parking space for this unit is right at the entrance so it is the easiest to enter and leave.

Bayview Vista is a wonderful condo in the Pointe West community. We are glad your family enjoyed all the beauty of Pointe West. The neighborhood pools are smaller then expected for the size of the community, but the beaches are larger then any subdivision in Galveston. The golf cart/bike paths throughout our community are amazing and are glad you enjoyed. We are thrilled your family had a wonderful time and look forward to you staying with us again.
