Cozy cottage in Portersville close to Moraine & McConnells Mill State Parks

Come stay at a cozy little cottage (LaZy Oaks Cottage LLC) that's close to two state parks. Moraine and McConnells Mill State Parks are beautiful places to visit for hiking and many other outdoor activities. Our one-level cottage is perfect for couples or small families. Whether you're on vacation or attending a nearby wedding (White Barn or The Atrium), this is a perfect alternative to a hotel. We are conveniently located near Interstate 79 and Route 422.

Our small cottage has two bedrooms and one bathroom. We have a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee machine, and oven for you to use while you stay. There is no washer/dryer available at the cottage; however, Prospect Car Wash and Laundromat is conveniently located 1 mile away, adjacent to Prospect Pizza. We provide fresh linens and towels for your stay.

Our cottage is nestled among several oak trees. If you look out through the kitchen window, you will see our large barn in the backyard. The neighborhood is generally quiet. You will see there's a lot of wildlife in the spring, summer, and fall. You will see squirrels, chipmunks, bunnies, and maybe some deer.

Renting a car or bringing your own vehicle is ideal for a rural area like Portersville, PA. Parking is available next to the cottage in the horseshoe driveway on our private property. We can accommodate larger trucks and trailers. Truckers are welcome.

We live on the property in a separate house; however, we will respect your privacy while you stay. Therefore, if there should be any problems while you stay, we are close by to correct the issue right away.

-Absolutely no smoking (or vaping) in our cottage. If you do smoke and can’t follow this rule, please do not book this property. We have done a lot of renovations and would like to keep our cottage nice as long as possible.
-Animals are not permitted at LaZy Oak Cottage. Although we are pet lovers, we have white carpet. This goes without saying that it’s difficult to get stains out of carpet of this color.
-No shoes on the carpet.
-We must know the names of all people staying at LaZy Oaks Cottage.
-Absolutely no parties.
