This was perfect for our family get together. Very peaceful to set on decks and watch the boats go by. Fishing was ok, but considering the hot summer we had, was lucky we caught anything. Host was wonderful. Only thing I would suggest is some new pans or a scrubbing pad. Took us a while to get the scrambled egg residue off the stainless steel cookware. We had a blast and we'll be back.

I am so glad you were able to gather family and enjoy the serenity the lake offers in the fall. We look forward to your return to Blue Sky Retreat! I will go and get new pans this week! I hope you were able to see the new scrub brush I leave in its package for each guest. I’ll note to leave something better though. Remember to book for Crsppie season next spring! It is almost work we catch so many! We would love to have you again!

Great house with a great view. We had a friends’ lake vacation for Grand Jam and we enjoyed our stay. The ONLY thing I’d suggest is that you have an empty cupboard or place to put the renters food belongings instead of just out on the counter. Other than that, it was great. Thank you!

Thanksgiving stay

We had a great time and the house right on the lake was beautiful!!! We took my 92 yr old dad with us and the room on the main level was just perfect for him!!! Had a great stay!!

We brought our best friends, our adult children & new grandson for a long weekend. The house was perfect. Spacious rooms, nursery, fully stocked kitchen, clean hot tub, they thought of everything! The decks had plenty of seating with incredible views. The guys played golf at 3 nearby courses. The only negative was the wind off the lake was crazy this weekend & it white capped so we couldn’t enjoy being outside as long as we wanted to be. We would definitely stay here again when it’s warmer!

Amazing Vacation Home

Margaret was a wonderful host and communication was exceptional. Her home was absolutely beautiful and clean and great for our family. The deck provided wonderful views of the lake with lake front access that made boating so easy. Highly recommend this home and hope to stay here again.

Margarett was the best host! the house is amazing, from the high quality mattresses, to the awesome smoker, the house was clean and up to date, with all the amenities you could want! Beautiful view of Grand Lake

perfect property for an extended family from Texas,Georgia and Oklahoma. Each family had a private bathroom! The communication with the host was informative and helpful.We have stayed at many Virbos, this was the best!

The BEST Getaway!

The host was very quick to respond to questions, super accommodating, and extremely intent on making sure we had everything we needed. We brought so much more than we needed because the place is stocked so well. Stunning views, peaceful neighborhood, lovely aesthetic, and just the perfect getaway.

My family and I stayed at this beautiful home for Thanksgiving. Margaret was easy to communicate with and gracious. The views are spectacular and there was plenty of room for us to have our own space.

Wonderful home with amazing lake views. Our group of women loved this home and we spent lots of time on the covered deck. We had plenty of room to spread out and the whole house was well appointed with lots of amenities. The homeowner Margaret was very responsive to emails. We may definitely stay here again!!

60th Anniversary Celebration

Able to bring the whole family to celebrate a milestone anniversary. Very relaxing and enjoyable for all. Beautiful location. Magnificent fireworks around the lake were seen from deck and dock for 3 nights. July 3-5!

The host was the most welcoming of any home we have ever stayed with VRBO, and the most accommodating, hands down! She communicated so well, made sure we had everything we needed. The view was incredible from all angles, such amazing views of the lake!! Cozy home with a well-stocked kitchen, cozy seating, large dining table, highchair, baby items, clean and neat. Great fishing dock! HIGHLY recommend this home for a large family with lots of room to spread out! 10 minutes from the grocery store, 30 minutes the Shangri La Resort.

We are “Lake People”!

Nine family members ranging in age from 7 to 67 spent 5 memorable days at Blue Sky Retreat. We had the greatest time! The home was perfect. The beds were so comfortable and we had everything we needed and then some. The outdoor living space, the never ending decks, the unbelievably beautiful views, swimming and boating … everything was awesome! Thanks for the great memories!! We’ll be back!

Beautiful home with absolutely stunning views

We had an amazing time staying a week at this gorgeous home. The pictures really don't do it justice. The outdoor space is perfect, with plenty of dining and seating options, both covered and open patio seating. But the true wow factor is the view. The home sits on a point with unobstructed views of Grand Lake in all directions. We had 2 families stay with 4 teenagers and there was plenty of space. The downstairs room can be used as a second suite with it's own bathroom attached. The kitchen had everything we needed. Fully stocked with all cooking utensils and plenty of dishes. The stand alone ice maker was a definite added bonus. We brought a boat with us and ended up having some mechanical issues with it on the first day. Margaret went above and beyond trying to help in any way possible. Being able to keep the boat at the dock was also super convenient. Overall we had a great time making memories and would highly recommend Blue Sky Retreat.

This property is ALL ABOUT THE VIEW!!! The wrap around deck has lots of comfortable seating to enjoy the million dollar views. Easy access to the water and private dock for boating, swimming and fishing. The spaces inside the house comfortably suited our family of 7 adults and two young kids, although most of our time was spent outside. Margaret the host was very accommodating, especially in setting up the fifth bedroom as a nursery and making sure baby gates were in place inside and outside. We would definitely look to book here again in the future when planning a trip to Grand Lake.

Our family just returned from an unforgettable stay at The Blue Sky Retreat near Ketchum, Oklahoma, and we truly couldn't have asked for a better experience!Our daughters, grandsons, and the rest of our family thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time together on Grand Lake. The house itself is absolutely incredible—beautifully maintained, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. There was plenty of room for everyone to gather together while also having quiet spaces to relax and recharge when needed.The swimming area was perfect for our crew, especially with young grandchildren. The wave-break barriers around the swimming area gave us extra peace of mind and created a calm, enjoyable place for the little ones to splash and play. One of our favorite memories was sitting on the deck each morning, soaking in the breathtaking sunrises over the water. It was the perfect way to start each day.Every aspect of our stay was flawless. The home was exceptionally clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. What truly set this experience apart, though, was the outstanding communication from the host. Every question was answered promptly, and they genuinely cared that our family had the best possible experience.We left with full hearts, wonderful memories, and a unanimous decision from the entire family—we're already planning to make The Blue Sky Retreat our annual family getaway. Beautiful space inside & out! Plenty of space for our large group to spread out while still feeling so cozy. Gorgeous view of the lake, and so peaceful. Great area to hangout and float in water with huge lily pad provided by owner, water breaks were huge bonus. One of the fav spots was the outdoor patio - so amazing and had the comfiest furniture ever. Host was very communicative as well.
