Romantic log cabin located on ski mountain, close to the ski lodge.
Fall in love with nature at this log cabin chocked full of mountain charm. This one bedroom cabin is perfect for honeymooners or romantic couples, with a king size bed, a center stone wood burning fireplace, A large hot tub on the covered deck. The game room has air hockey, foosball,, darts and a bumper pool table and a arcade table., The cabin is a hop skip and a jump(within walking distance) to Ober Gatlinburg and two miles to downtown.
My husband and I stayed here for a honeymoon getaway and had an amazing time. No rain. Beautiful weather. Lots of bears. Waterfalls. Best of all, we enjoyed the Smoky Mountains and had zero reception. Absolutely no interruption or disturbances at all. It was Heavenly.
The cabin is in an ideal location. Very quick drive to downtown Gatlinburg but far enough away for tranquility. Cabin was extremely clean. The mattress was excellent. As I get older, a good nights rest is very important. Especially after hiking all day. Steve was a great communicator and his response time was excellent on the few questions I had.
We had a quick get-a-way trip for our 5 year anniversary, and stumbled upon this little gem! It was a cute cabin, decorated nicely, private, and still close to all the attractions. The cabin was clean and had everything you would need. My husband and I grew up in the eighties in skating rink and arcades, so we LOVED the arcade games...we felt like kids again! The bumper pool was fun too. Steve was a wonderful host, very fast with communications and easy to work with. You can tell he really cares about his guests comfort and wants them to enjoy their stay. I would highly recommend, and hope to visit again in the future. (The pictures are views from Anakeesta and Cades Cove, we took a picture at Cades Cove of the cabin that is hanging in the dining room of this cabin.)
we had a good time , we enjoyed our stay. it was close to all the amenities and eating restaurants , shopping places.
we hate that we didn't get a chance to see any bears . LOL
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in early July and the cabin was very clean and cozy. It was very secure and well equipped. The hot tub and jacuzzi tub were clean and worked well. This is a place where you will want to stay to get the mountain experience vs staying in a downtown room. The driveway is narrow and and a bit steep but well lit and we did not have any problems with it in a big truck. We did see some bears a few times and even came up to the back deck but they left without incident. Very nice cabin in the woods and close to downtown.
I enjoyed being close to town but not in it. It was private and had every thing we needed. It would be good to have a flashlight available onsite. We had a four hour power outage. One handle on the foosball table was loose and needs to be repaired. Overall we had a great time and the cabin worked very well for us, though we were hiking most of the time. Didn,t see any bearsâčïž. Thanks for everything.
