Easy and close to the slopes. Smoke alarms work great and fire department visit on Christmas due to someone in the burning their food. Would update the front door to make it more secure and get a new toaster so this unit isnât the next one to set off the alarm. Everything was comfortable and nice.
The location to the ski slopes was great but the beds not so much. The king bed was terrible to sleep in, broke down and wore out. The kids said their beds were very uncomfortable as well.
The location is great, exactly as shown in pictures. The check in process was less than great. The girls at the office had already closed for the day, but were still in the office and weren't helpful. They wanted us out the door so they could lock it. We were unable to contact the office because it was closed the entire weekend.
The condo was great. It was perfect for a family of four. Close to town and a very short walk to the lift. I would have given it more stars except the hot tub/spas were disgusting. The outdoor hot tub water smelled foul, like it was lacking sanitizing chemicals. The indoor hot tub had what appeared to be feces in it. I wasnât willing to examine it closer to confirm.
This property was not represented honestly. There was no fireplace with an actual flame, there was no access to a hot tub for 3 days, there is no ski /in, ski/out. It is a long walk and an 1.5 hour wait while the ski school goes out. The accommodations were outdated, the beds were terrible and the toilets were bought from the local nursery school, like 12 inches from the floor (I have pictures!)I tried to get in touch with the management company before I left this review. But I NEVER would have stayed here if they were honest.
This place was great. Out the front you're 0.2 mi (5 min) into the center of Breck Village. Out the back you're a 50 yard walk to the Quicksilver chairlift to start your day. Great size room that could accommodate 4+ people. Clean, great view and hot tub at on the first floor! HIGHLY recommend.
Walk to lift and rental store. Walk to downtown. Unit very small and not a lot of thought went into updating or suppling the unit. Too many to listâŠ.heres a few. Property has a jucuzzi, supply plastic wine glasses and beach towels. Coffee pot very cheap, put a Kurig in, master bedroom coat rack, in front of clothes wall hook (seem weird)âŠ.bedroom didnât have a clothes rod in closet so they tried to make up for this with tons of hooks, which is fine just give the layout some thought.
The location was great! Easy walk to Main Street and all the restaurants and shops. The beds were "sleep number" beds which was a pleasant surprise. When we arrived in our room the thermostat read 80 degrees. Called the emergency number and quickly arrived with fans and turned off the fireplace pilot light. With windows open and fans running, it cooled off quickly.
Overall it is is very comfortable, but as noted in other posts it is showing its age a bit. The check in process is a little inconvenient in that you must locate the downtown office and check in after 4 but before 5. After-hours checkin is available, but can be a little clumsy in the dark.
This was a good place for our trip. I took my 16 year old son and two of his friends for spring break skiing. The location worked well for access to skiing and town. The walk to quicksilver lift was very short. But be aware that that lift services beginner terrain. Other lifts are easily accessible after you ride that up however.
Location of property very convenient to Quicksilver lift, which was primary reason for picking this property. Second reason was garage parking which turned out is NOT available even though stated in title description (and still in title as I type this review) on VRBO for this property. Unfortunately did not find that out until after weâd booked, which was too late. Deceptive listing. Condo itself was fine. Decor and furnishings thoughtfully done, but pretty dated. Ski storage room on first floor nice to have but was pretty cramped. Condo faced street (all with odd numbers face street). Easy walk to Main Street for shopping and food. Kitchen was good for our simple needs. Appreciated cubbies by door and LOTS of pegs to hang coats and ski pants.
Very nice condo stay. 2 bed, 2 full bath, pull out couch, living room, patio w/ table/chairs, full kitchen, ski equipment room on first floor and key fob safety entry into building. Be sure to hit the grocery store for food, drinks, coffee and shower products. There's a coffee pot, all utensils and cookware as well as frig, oven, dishwasher, ironing board, iron and a couple sleds to use. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Quicksilver lift is up hill then downhill from back door to get to lift and to get back the snow is pretty flat and slight incline so can't ski in and out to door but walk from door is only 2 minutes literally to load on lift and very beautiful landscape. Get to Quicksilver as early as possible because lines can be very long right now later in the morning. Took shuttle from airport and only rented a car one day from Breckenridge Rental Cars and parking lot was packed so check out places you can park nearby in case that happens to you too. Everything is within 2 block walking distance to downtown so very convenient and all shops open. Make reservations for dining as early as you can. Enjoy !
The parking âplanâ was subpar. Otherwise the location was good and the amenities were sufficient. Neighbor complained to me that the bathroom fan kept them up. I could have said the same about their dog barking.
