Excellent stay! The house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated how well it was set up for kids, with great amenities that made our stay easy and enjoyable. Everything was thoughtfully done and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved the beds - super cozy! Had great kitchen supplies for ease of use and easy to find! Appreciated the details, poo-pouri in the bathrooms, bottle of wine on arrival. Great home set up, was clean and in a great location!

Amazing Stay!

We had a great weekend getaway. The house was perfect for our large group of friends and family and the layout was perfect. We can't wait to go back in the summer time.

Amazing home, location and experience

We had a wonderful 2 day stay with friends to celebrate my wifes 50th birthday. The house was beautiful, clean and provided a wonderful cozy environment both indoors and out. Top of my list for future events and gatherings.

FAMILY GATHERING

Miner's Retreat is a beautiful property with many wonderful amenities. It suited our group exceedingly well. In particular, a great game area was one of the initial criteria for selecting this home. Family members agreed Miner's Retreat was an ideal home away from home for our very special family gathering.

Perfect home as part of our family reunion - used to greet arrivals and direct them to where they were staying. Good place for older family to play cards inside; outdoor firepit and table used every evening for conversation. Barbecue/flat-top good for outdoor meals.

Perfect home for a family getaway

Everything about this house is beautiful-glass entry doors, elegant and unique finishes in every bedroom, nature-centric decorative pieces. Front and backyard landscaping is very nice, the patio is spacious with spectacular golf course views and wild life visitors. The house was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. This is a rental home, but has such a warm atmosphere around it, definitely stands out from other properties we rented in Suncadia. Would love to come back for another family getaway.

This was a gem! There was plenty of room for my family of 8. Indoor/outdoor living at its best (although for the toddlers, the same color step down was harrowing!) Christie was a wonderful host and answered all my questions, concerns immediately.

Perfect family retreat accommodation

Miner's Retreat had everything we needed for our family get-together of six adults and three kids (2 1/2, 3 and 6 years old). Beautiful property; excellent layout for all activities. Well equipped kitchen where we cooked extra special meals each day. Love the extra large pantry which we filled so the big kitchen island stayed clear of food and our supplies. Plush beds and charming bunk room as pictured. Peaceful and private backyard to complement a truly luxurious home. Excellent communication with host. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful, spacious and comfortable home

Beautiful spacious home with a gorgeous gourmet kitchen and living space. The house has comfortable bedrooms and a relaxing outdoor space. We thoroughly loved our time here! The owners were thoughtful and detailed with design, cleanliness, and amenities to make our stay enjoyable. Our kids loved having their own bunk room, as well as being within walking distance of Dawson Park. We all enjoyed the game room and fire pit! Waking up to the golf course views with a cup of coffee was so relaxing. Overall, I would highly recommend renting Miner’s Retreat. We wish we could have stayed longer and are looking forward to visiting again.

Fabulous location for a family get together!

When I found this property on VRBO I liked it for a number of reasons - location, indoor and outdoor space, and the amenities and condition of the property. The photos are accurate but truly do not do justice to how nice this home is! Outdoors: large firepit, large and very clean hot tub, beautiful natural landscaping and ponderosa pines, lots of space to sit outside and read, talk, or dine, and a nice grill area as well. Rooms were very neat and tidy, well appointed and comfortable. The living room, dining room, and kitchen were great for our group of 11 and we spent lots of time together cooking, eating, and playing games. The owners were very responsive to a few house issues as well as helping me figure out how to retrieve an Amazon delivery (deliveries are only to the mailboxes at the Suncadia Real Estate office.)The only things that were concerning were the following and not huge issues, and I am certain the owners will address the things I mentioned to them as well as everything on this list: one of the windows was broken (golf ball) but only the outer pane, some of the jets in the hot tub did not work, some of the window screens were not seated in place and held in place by tape, the upstairs rooms did not get as much airflow as we wanted and were warmer in the day (but cool at night if you opened the windows), the front piece of the vegetable drawer was not connected to the drawer, and some outlets in the kitchen seemed like they may not have been wired well.

This house is great! They have everything you might need for your stay - including a step stool in each bathroom so kids can reach the sink. There were extra blankets, towels and a very well stocked kitchen to make the stay comfortable.It’s a great location and so enjoyable sitting on the back patio and watching golfers and wildlife. We would definitely stay here again!!
