Marmot Cabin is a cozy, natural wood Amish-built cabin perfect for your Glacier National Park and Flathead Valley vacation. New construction completed in 2022, this cabin sleeps six (two couples privately plus a queen pull-out couch in main living area) and shares two partially wooded acres with another identical cabin (also on VRBO.com) on the north side of Coram, Montana. This cabin is 750 square feet in size with a combination living area, kitchen and dining room, two bedrooms, one full bathroom and a bonus loft area. Enjoy family time with board games, a large-screen HD TV with DirecTV, or enjoy the covered porch after a day of hiking in the park. The covered porch has a propane grill and seating. Both bedrooms have queen size beds. The bathroom has an extra large walk-in shower, and is equipped with a front loading washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked - prepare a gourmet meal for your friends and family and then relax after a day of exploration. This cabin was designed with comfort in mind, and includes all of the amenities you will need to make your Glacier National Park vacation one for the books.
Cabin was beautiful, clean and well-equipped with great amenities. Unfortunately, we were not aware that a nearby train crossing would result in trains running throughout the night, making sleep nearly impossible. After a sleepless first night, we spent one more night (which did thankfully have fewer trains) and then cancelled the remaining two nights to preserve the rest of our trip. A 250 refund was issued, however we had to absorb the bulk cost of the other two nights.
We had a very nice stay at this cabin, and Glacier was Beautiful!!! We also visited whitefish for a half of a day, and it is a beautiful place! Cabin was nice, and very convenient and close to the park!
This house was the perfect location to the west gate of Glacier. The house was super clean, well stocked with kitchen necessities and very nicely decorated. Will surely stay there again!
You really couldnât ask for a better location and place to stay near Glacier. The kitchen included everything needed for cooking meals and our family of 4 had plenty of room to relax and sleep. We had a couple of questions for the owner during our stay and they were very quick to respond, helpful, and we could not have asked for a better place to stay.
Holly was a terrific host. The cabin was exactly as described and just beautifully decorated and appointed. We were very comfortable during our stay and enjoyed the proximity to Glacier NP. We highly recommend Holly as a host and the lovely cabin.
We appreciated the cozy, accommodating, CLEAN, atmosphere here! This cabinâs location provided easy access to the west entrance of Glacier park, as well as surrounding towns. There is an active railroad nearby, but the pros of this cabin far outweighed the occasional sound.
The property was clean, well furnished, comfortable beds. The washer and dryer was a great plus. Flora and fauna was awesome. Would definitely recommend.
We had a great stay at this place on a trip to visit Glacier National Park. The location is fantastic being about a 10 minute drive from the entrance of the park. The place itself is brand new and everything we needed was at the place. It was very well thought out and they provided plenty of items like towels, washcloths, dishes, coffee maker, filters, coffee etc. We were very pleased with the space in the cabin and how clean the place was. We would stay here again!
This cabin is beautiful! When we arrived incredibly clean and ready for us to settle in. Great proximity to Glacier NP. About a 10 min drive to the West entrance. It was just over 2 hours from the Many Glaciers area on the east side of the Park.
My friends and I really enjoyed our time in this cozy little cabin!! It had everything we needed as it was very well equipped with dishes, cookwear, towels, etc. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. The washer and dryer was a nice bonus. The location was perfect for visiting Glacier National Park. The owner was very responsive to messages and check in/out was very easy. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable stay close to Glacier. đ
My family and I loved the cabin and its easy access to Glacier National Park. It was nice to not have another cabin or house right on top of us and we made great use of the fire pit and cornhole game almost every night. The one thing I will note is that the cabin is very close to a train and freight trains come by (and need to blow their horn) every night. Some nights we were so tired from our adventures in the park that we didn't even notice, but it is a bit of a bummer when you want to open the windows at night to bring in the cool air. Even with the train, we would absolutely stay here again.
My son and I stayed here for a week in early October for a trip to Glacier National Park. It was perfect for the two of us. The kitchen was well-stocked and perfect for cooking and heating up leftovers after long days on the trail. The beds were comfortable (memory foam mattresses?) and everything was very clean. It was great having a washer and dryer to clean our muddy clothes every day. Proximity to the park was definitely a plus. The only drawback was the proximity to the train which blew its horn about every two hours throughout the night. If you're used to trains, you might not notice it much, but the tracks are close enough to the cabin that you can feel the ground shake as the train approaches. Not sure if this is a seasonal thing as we didn't see this mentioned in previous reviews. Overall, this is a great cabin worth a return visit.
If you are visiting Glacier this is the perfect cabin! Its location couldnât be better to see it all! The cabin itself is beautiful and we are a family of four with two young adult males from Washington DC. The boys appreciated each having their own bed. The cabin had everything you need to cook even a grill!!! And you will want this because many restaurants close at 8. Plus youâll want to pack sandwiches for the trails. There is a good sized grocery store close by. Not only did this cabin have cooking amenities it also had corn hole and a fire pit. Which was perfect for some family fun and to stay up late and see the stars!!!! Which were spectacular!! We loved the Whiskey distillery and Josephineâs for finer dinning. Itâs less the 5 miles away. The coffee pot was well used as we love making 12 cups and sitting on the porch watching the wildlife. The owner was amazing and got back to us right away. We even had to switch a week and she was so helpful. I highly recommend staying here!!! We had the best family fun week.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy and cute cabin. Check in was very easy. We had everything we needed for a relaxed and fun vacation while checking out Glacier National Park. Very clean and the beds were comfy. We highly recommend!
My husband Adam and I have owned cabin rentals for over ten years. We love to hike, horseback ride and travel. I have been hiking in and around Glacier for over twenty years. We have two amazing children that we are actively teaching to be responsible stewards of our public lands. This photo is of us on Sperry Glacier in September 2021.
