Il est difficile de choisir un favori parmi de nombreuses caractéristiques alléchantes de Altagracia. Est-il l'immense piscine, également adapté pour les éclaboussures ludique et pacifique flottante? Ou les ponts interminables, à partir de laquelle vous pourrez profiter des couchers de soleil les plus spectaculaires de votre vie? Peut-être le peu venteux hamac coin où vous endormir en regardant à travers la mer des Caraïbes? Comme nous l'avons dit, il est difficile de choisir.

Séjourner à Altagracia est comme faire un nouvel ami, un de ceux qui vous vous sentez comme vous avez connu pendant des années, même si ça ne fait que quelques jours. Marcher dans la porte d'entrée, vous vous sentirez immédiatement à la maison, entouré par un mobilier confortable et le charme de l'île. Les quatre chambres à coucher sont privées et en peluche, et ils peuvent accueillir jusqu'à huit personnes. Incredible views

The property is absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of space to spread out and have privacy. The sun decks were where we spent most of our time. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. Would definitely stay here again!

This vacation rental exceeded our expectations...it was everything as advertised and so much more. The location was perfect to enjoy all the celebration activities, restaurants and grocery stores...will need to rent a vehicle or use a taxi. Thank you so much...we’ll be back!!!

The perfect place in St John

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with the accommodations at Altagracia. The beds and other furniture were comfy, which is always key for me - good sleep is essential for a restorative vacation.The home was well stocked with a BBQ grill plus all the kitchen tools, cookware and dishes we needed. There were also towels for the shower and beach, plus extra sunscreen and bug spray left behind from prior visitors. The pool was large enough for 7 people to enjoy at once without feeling overcrowded. We really liked the unusual floor plan, which worked great for us: 2 families, occupying 2 bedrooms each. There was just 1 primary bedroom and bathroom connected to the main living space. The other 3 bedrooms were accessible from the exterior, connected by decks and stairs. It provided a little more privacy and quiet that way.The short 5 minute drive to town was also a plus. It was really nice to be nearby but not in the fray. It also felt a little cooler to be elevated on the hill. (It was toasty and humid in June. We were grateful for fans in the rooms, and air conditioning that worked well.) Finally, we absolutely loved the views. It was relaxing to watch the ferries come and go, day and night. This is a gorgeous property that feels well maintained. It's a trek getting to USVI from California, but we had a wonderful time. If we ever return to St John, we'd happily stay here again.

Great views and entertainment space, close to Cruz Bay

Overall a great experience, I would stay here again. Pros- big pool and lounging area, top and bottom decks had beautiful views, big bedrooms, outdoor shower, dishwasher, ice maker, 2 coolers provided, 5 min to Cruz Bay Cons- no AC or bathroom in main living space, one of the bedrooms had a leaking roof and the bathroom had a shower curtain as a door

Altagracia family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent location enjoyed by eight family members! The pool was large and a favorite with our 7 and 5 yr. old grandchildren. We all loved watching the boats and ferries passing by right under our deck. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the pillows. We are all looking forward to a return visit to this villa and a longer stay next time!

Loved our stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. The sunsets were fantastic, the visits by the iguanas were entertaining, and the kitchen was well stocked. The only suggestion I would have is to put handles / pulls on the drawers, accessing them was a bit tough at times. The lack of AC in the common area is disappointing but not a deal breaker- AC worked excellent in the bedrooms. We would definitely come back.

Great Potential - Needs some TLC / Updating

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: On the surface, this villa looks good but when you get there, needs some TLC. The decking is quite worn, the lighting needs updated badly, the bathroom configuration in one bedroom is super bad, the leaking roof in the bedroom was just awful (management company moved us to another villa), walls between bedrooms are paper thin, needs A/C in living area as cross breezes are non existent. Rework entry into bedroom - have to go through laundry to enter. Great room furnishings are very nice but bedrooms need dressers not just closets, pool is in great shape with nice amount of natural shade, views of course awesome.

10-Day stay in August

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Villa is beautiful and the view more spectacular than the photos online. Plenty of space. Quick drive to Cruz bay and shopping which was nice since we were a party of eight (4 teens). I have a few recommendations:1) The home could benefit from some solar shades as the living room/kitchen area is not air conditioned. Since the home is facing west the breeze was minimal and the sun was hot and direct. We asked for an extra fan and Catered To had one dropped off. 2) The dishwasher was broken on arrival. On vacation with 8 people made for a lot of dish washing. Kind of inconvenient. A gift card or credit of some sort would have been appreciated. 3) The upper master bedroom bathrooms were not very private. The walls around the bathroom did not meet the ceiling..a space of 2-3 feet. One of the master baths did not have a door. Only a shower curtain. Again, uncomfortable and not private at all. 4) We had an issue with the sliding doors sticking shut. It was repaired the same day that we called to report it. 5) One of the bedrooms downstairs has an air conditioner that leaked. Creating puddles. The pool area was gorgeous, and the pool was large in terms of Villa pool sizes on St John. The landscaping was amazing as well...beautiful flowers, many birds (including hummingbirds). We’ve been traveling to the island for 21 years and have stayed at a variety of different villas. This home is beautiful but lacking in a couple of important ways.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We greatly enjoyed our stay at Altagracia. The pictures do not do it justice, and the views are spectacular. The outside decking is huge, the beds are comfortable, and the house is well equipped. The only thing that would make it a lot better is some sort of A/C in the main room. It was comfortable in there until about 10:30am, then it was so hot that you either had to sit outside or retreat to your bedroom (all have A/C). We would typically eat dinner outside because it was so warm in the house. I live in Houston and keep my own house at 77 degrees in summer, and I would estimate that it was about 83 inside. It's still a great house but just be aware of this, that it does get quite warm inside during the summer. Still, would definitely stay again.

Amazing St. John Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first trip to St. John and this house was perfect for our group of 7 (3 couples, 1 single). Loved that all of the rooms were accessed from the outdoors with the one common living area. Tons of deck space! The only thing that could improve the living area is if there was a powder room so we didn't have to go into someone's room upstairs to use the restrooom. Great location to Cruz Bay - easy access to car ferry and grocery stores. So easy to work with Catered To Vacations!

Amazing location and experience

Great location - only 2 minutes drive from the gas station and Starfish market and only 5 minutes drive from the main drag in Cruz Bay. Everything matched the pictures and was even bigger than we imagined! The main indoor living area didn't have AC which we didn't expect, and it got pretty steamy in there. Thankfully, the rooms had AC. Plenty of cooking utensils and the host was very responsive and accommodating!

Beautiful

We had an amazing time staying here. The house is clean, the pool was refreshing, the views were amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, we used the grill a lot! We loved the house had rafts to float on and beach chairs to take to the beach. The patio furniture was so comfy for lounging in the shade. One thing to note, all the rooms are completely separate there's no interior access to each room only outside entry. This it's something to consider when traveling with little kids. Highly recommend the property!

Altagracia - Expansive Views!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A lovely 4 BR home in close proximity of Cruz Bay. Full ocean views from every single spot on the deck and pool. Very nicely appointed and had a fresh, beachy feel. We woke up to a rainbow across the water almost every single morning! Very well equipped kitchen with cuisinart all-clad cookware and just about everything a chef might need: all sorts of cooking utensils (even a garlic press and juicer!) serve ware, bowls of every size, Tupperware, a blender, regular and French press coffee makers - literally everything. So well stocked. House was very comfortable for our week on the island.A few minor complaints: many of the outlets didn’t work around the pool and in some of the bedrooms, there was very little lighting around the pool deck or near the grill/bar which made it difficult to cook and hang out there after dark, and the light switches weren’t marked so there were many switches we never did figure out what they controlled. All fairly minor, but would make a huge difference. Could also use some updated appliances. We were told a new fridge was ok the way so that will be a great improvement. The few minor issues we had after checking in were very quickly addressed by the rental company. Would definitely rent through them again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is perfect! Because of the covered deck we could eat on the deck, even in the rain! Very clean.The only 2 issues which I reported was the roof leak in the 2nd bedroom upstairs and the dampness in the downstairs middle bedroom. The damp rid should always be there! Also you should replace the metal shower rack with a nine rust one.
