Great family getaway in the Poconos!
My parents, children, and I had a lovely stay at Liz’s home in Jim Thorpe! Liz was a consummate hostess, leaving kid-friendly touches throughout the house and always being available via text if something came up. There were a couple hiccups but Liz was quick to rectify anything so no complaints here! The house is well-appointment with everything you could possibly need (tons of towels, coffee, clean linens, etc). It is also located in close to proximity to everything: downtown Jim Thorpe (which is adorable and fun), Walmart, Dollar General, plenty of restaurants (we loved Myst). There’s even pizza delivery without an app if you have a lazy afternoon. We had fun in the game room and hot tub. The area was private, quiet, serene, and very clean. We felt right at home and highly recommend this property to other families looking for a cozy place to come together. Notes: the stairs to enter the main floor from the basement of the home are steep as are the stairs from the main floor to the top floor bedrooms. Anyone with mobility issues should be aware they must climb the stairs from the basement at a minimum to get in and out of the house. Also: there are legit 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths in this home (1 queen and 1 single on the main floor + 1 queen and a triple twin that includes bunk beds on the top floor. Full bath with shower and tub on main floor as well as top floor. Plenty of couches and floor space for further sleeping accommodations). Thank you so much, Liz!
