Cette belle maison de 3 chambres 2. 5bath a beaucoup des charmes originaux de la date de construction de la maison, plus quelques mises à jour incroyables!

cuisine spacieuse avec îlot, laveuse et sécheuse dans l'unité, deux espaces de vie, ainsi qu'une grande salle à manger!

La maison a une allée - peut accueillir au moins 3 voitures, peut-être 4 selon la taille.

Tout en ville est accessible à pied - pubs, restaurants, l'opéra, location de vélos, etc!

Peut facilement accueillir 10 personnes si les personnes partagent les lits complets, et encore plus avec un matelas pneumatique.

Great trip to Jim Thorpe

We had a great time in Jim Thorpe. Rachael was very easy to communicate with and allowed us to check in early (even though we ended up getting there at check it). There was so much to do and we enjoyed the restaurants, bars, and shops. Some pros and cons. Pros: easy check-in, plenty of parking, location (just a 5-7 min walk to town, dog friendly, plenty of room. Cons: although most of the house was clean, we found old tater tots in the oven(smelled pretty bad) and stuff in the dryer, the TV in the primary didn’t work and the TV in the living room said “memory full” and weren’t able to use. We didn’t expect to watch a lot of TV, but we like to see the news and there was a fire happening during the end of our trip so it would have been nice to see the news. Ice machine doesn’t work, but they do have ice trays. We just ran into town and got a 10 pound bag of ice for our stay.

Very comfortable, eclectic fun place to stay!

My wife and I had a great stay at this home. It felt very comfortable, almost as if it were our own home! Plenty of parking in the driveway, it is very close to the downtown area and scenic train ride. The house was very clean and the owners were VERY responsive when communicating. Definitely recommend this cool place in Jim Thorpe!Thanks for the nice stay :)Josh

Great Location

The home was adorable and very historic. It was a 5 minute walk to the city center so it was a perfect location. The only negatives was that it was heated by radiators and a fire place. The radiators of course make a lot of noise and the one in the master didn’t work too well. The couches and beds weren’t super comfortable but we mainly spent our days walking around or driving so it wasn’t a big deal. The kitchen worked well and we were able to make our Holiday meal without any issues. The place was decorated for Christmas so it added to our holiday ambience. All in all super cute getaway!

House had so much character and was in an amazing location - walking distance to everything. Owner was great and very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. We had a great time.

Location, Location, Location!

We loved this house that was right in the heart of Jim Thorpe! We parked the car on Friday & walked everywhere the rest of the weekend! Our party of 6 loved the house & how it was decorated. The owners were accomodating and a pleasure to commuicate with! Can't wait to stay here again!

Great location, adorable house with Parking

Loved this cute property, plenty of room, with a back yard area fire pit and grill. One of only in area with a huge driveway which made it easy to park and walk everywhere. Biking just down the street to the state park. Would definitely book again.

Surprise Weekend Away

Surprised my wife with a weekend away to see a band we love at Mauch Chunk Opera House. Great place to stay for a family and/ or a few friends!! Plenty of space, board games, 2 gaming consoles, fire pit, 2.5 bathrooms, and a tuned guitar! Loved our weekend away!!

Beautiful House, Great Location!! Dog Friendly

Such a cool, charming, beautiful Home! The kitchen is sharp(we didnt cook there because we were on Vaca) The master bath is Sooo unique and nice. Honestly the entire house is decorated very cool, every room is different, Bravo to the decorators! Huge plus is the location! We walked to lunch/dinner everyday, i believe the longest walk was just 10min, plenty of shops, it has a driveway which is a BIG plus! Very dog friendly which was key in our decision, the fire pit area is quite cool. The owner was quick to respond to my questions. I would absolutely stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

Perfect location, parking in driveway which is an added benefit. The house is just as described, kitchen was equipped with what we needed for the weekend, very clean, plenty of towels in bathrooms! I would definitely stay here again! Loved it!!

What a great house right in the middle of Jim Thorpe! The house had everything we needed and more! Every little detail was so charming and cozy! We loved it! The host was so responsive and helpful! Would highly recommend and we look forward to renting the place again!!

Family Long Weekend Getaway

The location of the property is ideal for spending time in the town. Everything is a walk. Parking in Jim Thorpe is at a premium so the fact that we could fit 3 cars in the driveway was a big plus. There were 5 of us and we each had our own beds. Great space off kitchen for family board games. Only caution is to be aware of the fact that although the house can sleep 10 it is priced for 4 so any additional people add an extra daily charge.

Perfect weekend get a way

Perfect location. Easy walk to everything with three kids, ages 4-12, and far enough away that it was quiet when back at the house. We were able to walk back and forth to town multiple times a day. Perfect place for our family.

Very pretty house, well maintained, clean. Truly pet friendly, which is great! Owners very informative and responsive. Good location, short walk to the shops and restaurants downtown. A little loud from street noise and other properties parties on Saturday night, but owners said that wasn't usually a problem, might have just been a random bad weekend we were there. Easy to park at the property, be aware that daytime weekend traffic can be kind of of a nightmare going thru/into the downtown area because its so popular - if you can, maybe plan to keep your car parked in their driveway and do walking activities at peak times to avoid the headache!

This property had a great location,. Loved we could travel with our dog & loved that it had on site parking!! All upstairs bedrooms had window air conditioners which was great but only front living room downstairs had one. So for myself & my family were uncomfortably hot in the dining room & kitchen since they had no air & the air from living room didn't make it to those rooms. There were items in the dryer so we couldn't dry our own items.

Ladies Trip 3.0

Unique and beautiful house, great location and PARKING!!! Although it was a blustery and cold weekend, we stayed cozy and comfy after a long day of shopping and exploring JT when we returned to this home. Fantastic communication with the host and ease of checking in and out were so helpful.

Historic house beautifully restored. It was very close to the heart of town and had all the amenities we needed for a restful stay. Fire pit, grill, stocked kitchen and comfortable beds.

This rental suited our family situation very well. One thing I would improve upon is putting some kind of door/curtain between the back bedroom and the bathroom. The fenced in yard area was great for the pets.

First timer in Jim Thorpe

My family and I enjoyed our time in this rental. It was clean, had everything we needed, it was close (walking distance) to the shops and restaurants, had a driveway (as street parking fills up fast) and Rachael (the property owner) was very quick to respond to messages and was helpful in answering any and all of my questions. The only negative was that the house was very warm when we first arrived, as all the air conditioning units were off. It would have been more comfortable having it a bit cooler in the house with the July heat and humidity. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place and would stay there again!

Family reunion weekend in Jim Thorpe

The house was perfect for our two families (two couples and adult children). We greatly appreciated all of the communication that we had with the owners. They even left us some firewood on the steps when we asked where we could purchase some. The decorations in the house are interesting and fun--we loved it! We were able to fit four cars in the driveway, which was great since our group traveled from various locations. The house is in walking distance of stores, coffee shops, and restaurants. We had a very enjoyable weekend.

Good Location

The house is in a great location. It was expensive for the area. We liked the fact it had a fenced in yard for our dogs. Unfortunately, it was all gravel, very little grass. It was nice that it had a driveway. The house was basically clean but the stovetop, and fridge were in need of a good cleaning. They advertised that they have a washer and dryer, and after traveling for 3 days, we were looking forward to clean clothes; unfortunately, the washing machine was full of their clothes so we were able to use it. The dishwasher was also full of dishes not sure if they were clean or dirty. They had a fire pit what was in their backyard but no small wood to burn. And we could not find a lighter that worked. We felt like the owners quickly packed up a left for the night… for the $500 we paid a night including fees; we felt that it was VERY over priced, not worth it.

We kept visiting Jim Thorpe with our two dogs (spark and bagel) and every time we would look for a house to buy. We saw this home 2 years ago but we weren't ready to take on this project. Fast forward to few months ago, we came up to tour another home and when we were about to leave we saw this house was on the market again. It was a sign. Now we own a little piece in Jim Thorpe, this magical town we love so much. We are based in Philadelphia and when we can't come up here we open our home to guests. Some weekends will be blocked off but we are able to share 2 of our 3 bedrooms with guests that love dogs. So even if a weekend is blocked off let us know and we will be happy to host you.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

There was no doubt that we wanted to be walking distance from downtown so when this home on Broadway came up to the market we couldn't pass the opportunity. We are located just 10 minutes from downtown and before the old Jail.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

4 parking spot in the heart of Jim Thorpe ! Unheard of... and then the house charm, old character with new amenities like a fully renovated kitchen area with an island and everything you need to prep your meals! A dining room for 8-10 people and 2 living room! And don't forget to check the European style tree bathroom... yes I said trees...
