Wild Turkey Cabin is a log cabin with a private bedroom and a loft. Sleeps 4. Located on 70 wooded acres. Loft with full bed and a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom with smart TV. Enjoy a day of hiking and wind down in a private hot tub, while enjoying the sounds of nature. We offer a large deck with a gas grill and fire ring. The cabin has everything you need to enjoy a getaway for couples or families. Surrounded by the beauty of Hocking Hills, nature abounds at Wild Turkey Cabin. Cabin is located on a private/no outlet drive which is secluded & quiet. We are pet friendly with a 2 dog limit and a $50 pet fee. Approximately 10 minutes to Old Mans Cave or Ash Cave waterfalls. Close proximity to other Hocking Hills State Parks. Logan, Ohio is a short 20 minute drive. We are centrally located to all kinds of recreational activities.

Almost perfect

We really enjoyed our time there, the hot tub, the cleanliness of the cabin. The only thing we were pretty upset about was the fact that the lock on the back sliding door does not work. We were not made aware of that. That being said, we had an incident where we were locked out and our kids were inside asleep. Our 7 year old son had to be woken up by us yelling for him at his window to let us in the front door. A stick had fallen in the track of the sliding door causing it to not open. It had been in there because of the door lock not working as a way for guests to “lock” the door. We didn’t know the stick was in there. The entire situation could’ve been very bad, thankfully it wasn’t worse. Other than that incident, the stay was wonderful. Just booker beware of the back door.

Cozy, private cabin

Cute cabin tucked in the woods with lots of privacy. Beds are comfortable with lots of blankets and pillows. The hot tub wasn't the clearest, but it didn't stop us from enjoying it. The kitchen could use a little love, no potato peeler or large pot. I'm not sure if the fireplace works. We couldn't figure it out and reached out to the owner, who responded, but no one ever showed or followed up to assist. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.

Homie Cabin

We loved this cabin! Definitely going to book it again next year. Very homie vibes, makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Love the decorations, it's very private but not too far away from stuff. It was a perfect weekend getaway.

Great location & nice cabin but could have been better

The cabin itself was great and exactly what we were looking for. We booked it in February so having a hot tub was key for us - when we arrived the hot tub water was green so I messaged the host. They said it should get better within the next 30 min but if not to let them know. The next morning I messaged them and told them the water had gotten greener and it now had a green film on top. The host responded and said they would have someone come out. They came out so late that the hot tub did not reach a useable temperature so we could not even use the hot tub the second day. Kitchen had a lot useful dishes and grill was great, just wish we had a better experience with the hot tub.

The cabin was in a great location. Hot tub was great. The back deck needed the snow cleaned off also fire place didn't work

Very cozy

Enjoyed the cabin, was very cute and cozy. I liked how it was open design and How the bedroom was off the deck, very convenient. Everything worked well and easily.

Hocking Getaway

Cabin was cozy and welcoming. Overall we enjoyed our relaxing stay. Description says soap and toilet paper provided. Soap dispensers were both empty and toilet paper lasted about a day. Had to go out and buy both. Terrible lighting in living room area. Hot tub clorinater was empty.

Wild turkey cabin

The cabin is located close to the hocking hills attractions. We brought our dogs with us and it was the perfect property to stay at with pets. The cabin has a long driveway and is surrounded by woods and trails… perfect for taking the dogs out to go potty or for a quick walk before heading out for dinner. The kitchen, bathroom, and living area floors were all clean. The downstairs bedroom does have a little bit of a musty smell. But overall I would say that the cabin is well maintained. The steps to the loft are kind of steep and we elected to have our son sleep downstairs as we worried about him coming down the steps in the morning. The hosts are very responsive to questions/messages. We would consider booking here again in the future.

Nice little cabin

Clean, basic cabin close to caves

Had a great weekend. This cabin is close to all of the Hocking Hills Caves. Relatively easy access road. Hot tub and fire pit are nice. Our family of 5 plus dog was a little crowded but it was overall a good experience! No bees were seen in the cabin. our kids loved exploring the area around the cabin and hunting for bugs

Great location

For hiking, this location was perfect! The cabin was clean and we loved the trails and hot tub. There are no extras here as we've found in other rentals - cooking oil, shampoo, area information, hiking maps - so just be prepared. Be aware if traveling with young kids that the loft made us nervous because the gap in the railing is large enough for them to fall through. The adults slept in the loft because of this and the bed is fairly uncomfortable. Overall, the location and setting in the woods were the big pluses!
