Beautiful location close to all the hocking hills hiking destinations. Dogs and my friend and I had a blast enjoying all the sights, nature time, and relaxing. Would absolutely recommend! Lacked slightly in amenities (toilet paper, hand soap, cleaning supplies, pots and pans, but we managed).
it was ok, bathroom shower barely worked, sliding door going onto deck was broke, carpet and windows were dirty. key code wasn't changed which led to several phone calls and a hour and half setting in car waiting to get in.
Cute little cabin. Nice hot tub to soak in after a days hike. Only downfall was there was no hand soap in the container in the bathroom, the bedroom tv wasnt set up, and there was a clump of dog hair on the floor when we got there. Beds were comfy and wifi was good. Overall a good experience
This cabin was perfect for us and our trip with our 2 dogs. It was very clean and cozy, plus close to all the Hocking Hills sights. It was nice to be more secluded and in a quiet location. My only suggtion for the host is it would be nice to ave one more bigger cooking pot. We like to cook to save money and it was a little challenging to make spaghetti in the tiny pot.
The wife and I stayed a few nights over the Memorial Day weekend and we were very pleased with this place. The cabins location couldnât have been more perfect, within minutes of just about everything and still in the middle of nowhere on the top of the mountain. We enjoyed the hot tub and listening to the wildlife at night. Wish we would have stayed longer. A few little upgrades that would made this a perfect 10⊠A dimmer switch on the kitchen light, and some cleaner and more comfortable back patio furniture, otherwise an absolute dream of a cabin.
We loved this cabin! Definitely going to book it again next year. Very homie vibes, makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Love the decorations, it's very private but not too far away from stuff. It was a perfect weekend getaway.
Downstairs bed was very uncomfortable. It is very secluded. Well furnished. Had a small buck walk by the kitchen window the morning we left. Enjoyed our stay.
Very clean and inviting. Accommodating and comfortable. Great hiking trails right from the cabin. Great location and close to all of the local attractions. We will be coming back đ
It was clean and the cleaning ladies were very nice. I'm a bit of a clean freak, and I found it to be a bit dusty, and tired looking. Everything that we needed was there, and it was very quiet and peaceful. We cooked our meals, ate outside and enjoyed the jacuzzi. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the gas fireplace, which would have been nice.
Had a great weekend. This cabin is close to all of the Hocking Hills Caves. Relatively easy access road. Hot tub and fire pit are nice. Our family of 5 plus dog was a little crowded but it was overall a good experience! No bees were seen in the cabin. our kids loved exploring the area around the cabin and hunting for bugs
My husband and i stayed at the wild turkey cabin. It was a great relaxing time. The cabin was very cute and the hot tub was amazing. We had a few hiccups with some yellow jackets in the bathroom, but luckily there was bug spray. All in all, very nice trip.
Homey, clean, equipped to meet all our needs. Location is prime for visiting many of Hocking Hills most visited sites. The hot tub was so welcomed after a day of hiking. We did not experience any run ins with bees as previous reviews had stated.
My husband and I spent our Anniversary weekend at this very cute cabin! We had a very nice relaxing time. We drove to Old Manâs Cave and Ash Cave, they were both beautiful, I definitely recommend. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, this was a great way to end the day!
When we arrived to the cabin we noticed a very musty smell inside. The walls appeared wet in some spots. When taking a look around the nob to the shower was sitting on the toilet. We brushed them off as these were small things. Then later we tried to grill and the grill flame would not turn up higher than the lowest setting so we then ran out to get charcoal for the charcoal grill. On our first night we couldnât get the jets to work in the hot tub, at this point we call maintenance. They come to fix the nob in the shower, and tell us they got the jets to work in the hot tub but the electrical looks chewed and it wouldnât be safe to use and mentioned a partial refund. HUGE bummer as thatâs a big reason why we booked this cabin. We still enjoyed our local plans and adventures. So on our last day we call to say weâre checking out a bit early and asked about the partial refund that was mentioned by maintenance because we never got to use the hot tub, they proceeded to tell me maintenance came back the following morning and fixed the hot tub. We never seen maintenance, never talked to anyone or received a call, message, anything. Last thing we were told is that it was unsafe for an electrical issue. They said that we were even at the cabin when maintenance came to fix it, why did they never make contact with us to say it was now safe and able to be used? We never seen them, heard them, our dogs never even heard them. Very disappointed with that aspect of our stay.
The address they sent was wrong so it made finding it a little hard. ( this address is not shown on Chilcote road ) and gps stops working as there is no cell. Luckily we found it. ( i canât find the email with the address )
The cabin is nicer than it looks in the pics. Very nice quiet location. Steps are very steep. Be careful.
Close to caves.
First night there, boyfriend stung by wasp twice, next night I had one in my hair...we killed about 7-8 wasps while there. The trail to the waterfall should have been marked...we never found it due to lack of directions/markings. Due to wind all day Sat. there was no power, at first no water. Stunk cuz the main reason for renting cabin was the hot tub. We could have taken out camper otherwise.
