What I sent the owner with no response Thank you for allowing us to stay at your cabin. While we enjoyed the location and overall atmosphere, I wanted to share some concerns we encountered during our visit that impacted our stay.    âąÂ    Bathroom issues: The shower had very low water pressure and was difficult to use. The toilet seat was loose and slipped each time it was used. No hand soap in kitchen and bathroom hand soap was almost gone so we bought one and left there.     âąÂ    Wasps: We experienced a significant wasp problem outside, including one of us being stung. Unfortunately, this made it impossible to enjoy sitting on the porch during the day. So we had to go do things since we couldnât relax on the porch.     âąÂ    Linens and towels: There were no additional bath towels provided, and one kitchen towel. No trash bags.     âąÂ    Amenities: There were no instructions for using the TV, which made it difficult to access.Iâm sharing this feedback so youâre aware of these issues for future guests, as they did make our stay less comfortable than anticipated. We chose your property because of the great reviews and photos, and I believe addressing these points would help keep it in line with the expectations set on Vrbo.Thank you for taking the time to review this. Iâd also appreciate knowing if thereâs a way youâd like to make this right.Best- Kim
The cabin was nice. The bed was hard . And the shower needs to be up dated. The way to get the shower started. It very strange. The hot tub was very nice. We enjoyed are stay .
Older cabin with a very long gravel driveway that is off the beaten path. I would recommend a 4x4 if you are expecting rain. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning some day.
This was the first vacation including my 10 month old pup and what a wonderful experience it was. We had everything we needed (except scissors and a pen, my bad though), actually had a cell signal (not the case at another cabin last year) for both of our providers. Location is great and private. Not as fancy as some cabins (my guy friend's comment), but rustic and comfortable.
Very cute cabin in the woods!! Centrally located to everything in the Hocking Hills area, 18 minutes from the grocery store in Logan. We had so much fun spending time in the hot tub and cooking in the kitchenette. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a little rustic cabin getaway!!
Very secluded property. No one around you except for deer and other wildlife. We found a little turtle which I will share a picture with. Property managers or owners were very helpful dealing with the problems that we had which was out of their control. Thank them!
We stayed 9 nights. The cabin is secluded with views over fields on three sides. We used it as a base to explore the trails, forest, caves, water falls and lakes. The location puts it in the heart of the hills with beautiful drives through the forest all around. Deer everywhere. On the property every morning and evening deer were active. A couple of times we saw fawns with the zoomies racing around there mother. The cabin was clean, the bedding was clean and comfortable. The window air conditioner was adequate to keep the cabin comfortable. The host was thoughtful calling or informing us prior to mowing the grass and servicing the hot tub, so as not to interfere with our time. The 1/2 mile gravel driveway was maintained and since we use our vehicle off road we counted it as off road time(lol). We would stay here again if the opportunity arrisses. Thank you Hannah and Patrick for maintaining such a nice cabin.
The cabin was very cozy . It had all we needed for a quick trip ( 3 days and 2 nights ) . We enjoyed seeing turkeys and deer in the surrounding fields . Very close to the hiking trails we needed . Hanna (host) checked in with us via call and text to make sure we had all we needed and gave us some advice on trails .
We loved our stay. It was close to all the hiking areas but set far enough back that it was very private. We brought our two dogs and the property had a huge area for them to run around. Communication with the host was great and the property was very clean. Not only was it clean but it was also super cute and cozy. I would highly recommend!!
I have lived on the property where the cabins are located all my life ,my father purchased the property in 1946 after serving in the Air Force in WWII they property was farmed until the last several years . This cabin was built 6 years ago and has been very popular. The cabin was managed by a management company til 2023 at this time my daughter and I decided to take care of this cabins and 2 others on the property to offer better service.I enjoy living in the country and beside such a beautiful park
Only a mile walk to a beautiful state park Old Man's Cave ,which offers 3 water falls ,a over hang cave , tunnels through the rocks , cliffs ,rim trails ,woods ,miles of hiking trails through woods and cliffs . You can hike through a gorge 3 miles to Ceader Falls state park and 3 more miles to Ash Cave State Park . Or drive the highway between parks . There are 5 other parks close by
