The townhouse was very clean and the kitchen well equipped, lots of towels and comfortable beds too. The only disappointment was that it was not really "walkable" to restaurants etc., not because of distance, but because there were no sidewalks or safe places to walk. Dining room table is really meant to seat only four people, not great for board game playing which my family likes to do.Overall a pleasant place to stay.

Hi Tawny,We really enjoyed our stay — your place was very nice, and the location was great! It was especially nice to be able to bring our dogs along with us.Just a few small suggestions that might make the stay even better: adding full-length mirrors (even over-the-door ones) in the bedrooms, a small table or two in the middle guest rooms so folks can lay out their things, and maybe a deck or two of playing cards to round out the game selection.Thanks again for hosting us — we had a wonderful time!

Comfy and clean, perfect stay for our girls get-away weekend. Updated 1st floor with new floors. Nicely decorated, super comfy beds. Perfect plase to rest after a day hiking and visiting historic HF.

Great location for seeing the area

We used this property at a home base for visiting parks, breweries, and tubing. Great central location for getting to nearby shops and restaurants. Very clean and good sized rooms and bathrooms for multiple adults.

Lovely stay in historic Bolivar

We had a wonderful stay. The location was very convenient, a quick drive to nearby cities, but with the preserved small town feel of Bolivar and Harpers Ferry. I recommend a walk to the Bolivar Bakery, a highlight for the kids during our trip. The house was comfortable for our family of 4, but could easily accommodate a larger family.

The property was as described. Clean and comfortable furniture. It was easy to communicate with owner. However for elderly people, the steps up to the front door with very over taxing while carrying luggage.

Have turkey, will travel

Mid point meeting with family for Thanksgiving. It was the perfect property for us, 4 adults, 2 children. Location was wonderful, we did hikes, visited town and went to a Christmas tree farm for a tree. Kitchen was good for our big meal. Comfortable beds and plenty of hot water checked the boxes. We would stay again for sure.

Great Stay - Hidden Gem

Stayed at this location for a long weekend in August. This was perfect for me any my family. Walking distance to downtown Bolivar restaurants (about 10-15 minute walk) and only a 5 minute drive from the visitor's center at Harper's Ferry National Park (where you can take a shuttle bus into downtown Harper's Ferry). It is also about a 10-15 minute drive from a grocery store. I have three young kids (all 3 and under). The carpet was perfect for them in case of any falls and they enjoyed the little deck on the 2nd floor for confined outside time. The kids want to return to their "vacation home". Everything was very clean and the property had everything we needed. I was able to pack minimally and not have to worry about packing anything additional since it was all provided. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone thinking about vacationing in Harper's Ferry.

Nice accommodations. The location is very convenient to town; however there are some hills involved if you’re walking. Parking in town was easy and available.

I’m a proud wife and a mom to four amazing kids. Our family is a former military family, originally from Texas, and we now call Harpers Ferry home. We moved here several years ago for my husband’s work and quickly fell in love with the area's charm, history, and natural beauty.

We homeschool our three youngest children, while our oldest is in college studying nursing and serving as an airman in the Air National Guard.

Owning a vacation rental in Harpers Ferry was a longtime dream of mine, and I’m thrilled to share this beautiful place with others. Whether you're looking to explore history, enjoy outdoor adventures, or simply relax, I’m excited to help make your stay unforgettable!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I have a great love and appreciation for early American History. This property is centrally located and has easy access to visit (and walk to) many historical sites.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We fell in love with this property because of the beautiful views it allows. I have loved sitting on the large deck with a cup of coffee watching the red cardinals. The Shenandoah and Potomac rivers are within walking distance and the view is amazing.
