A breathtakingly elegant home that sits perched on the hills of La Jolla, providing jaw-dropping panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. The interior exudes chic and sophistication, drawing inspiration from Italian mid-century design that gives off a modern yet classic look. The bright tones inside allow for an abundance of light to bounce around the walls giving the home an ideal indoor-outdoor flow. Features include a pool, spa, fire pit, hammock, bocce set, and an expansive entertainers patio for making memories with loved ones.

Nearby Activities: Herringbone (seafood), Scripps Beach, La Jolla Shores Park (Beach, Surfing Lessons, Scuba Diving), Caroline's Seaside Cafe, Wheat and Water (Pizza!), Masala Street (Indian), La Jolla Sea Cave Kayaks (Kayaking through Caves)

Home Truths:
- Please note that this home does not have AC.
- This property does not offer pool heat or spa heat. But there is a sperate hot tub at this home.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- This home is located in a neighborhood with a strict noise ordinance policy and therefore is only suitable for quieter groups. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000.
- The warming drawer in the kitchen is out of order.
- Please note that there are no longer heat lamps available at the property.
- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Same-day bookings are not permitted.
- Absolutely no exterior amplified music is allowed. Violations will result in a $500 fine.
- While we do our best to notify guests in advance, unannounced power outages may occur due to unexpected city maintenance.
- No events are allowed unless pre-approved and coordinated through Avantstay. This includes but is not limited to: rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and social gatherings.
- All guests must comply with local laws regarding outdoor lighting, quiet hours, and limitations on parties or gatherings.

Parking Details:
2 cars can be parked in the garage.
The driveway can accommodate 2 cars.
Street cleaning occurs on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. Cars parked on the west side will be ticketed and towed.

This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib and a high chair available.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

Wonderful Holiday Vacation!

This was our second time staying at this property. Such a great place for our family of all ages, ranging 2 months to 75 years! AvantStay was incredibly responsive with any questions or concerns. The home is beautiful and clean and there was even a welcome basket when we arrived. We’ve already booked for next year :) 10/10!!

Comfortable, spacious and amazing views

Overall the house was comfortable, spacious and the outdoor space facing the ocean is amazing! The house has an interesting quirky character to it given the age and additions. We enjoyed our stay.

Great home for 6 couples

Very nice location and view, 6 large bedrooms, and large living areas, the freezer on the refrig. was in need of repair, so they had a free standing freezer set up in the kitchen, somewhat dated, no bath tub in the mster suite, 12 mirror door closets in the master suite??,

my friends and I love to play games so every six months or so we pick a location to stay and just play games until we can’t stand it. This time we chose this La Jolla property with seven bedrooms and 6 1/2 baths so there would be plenty of room for us game players. well the home is older and shows its age. It was spotlessly clean and had a fabulous view and all the amenities we needed to stay shut in and play those games. I would recommend it for any big group location location.

Great potential but needs a lot of work to update it.

Amazing views. However, the property is quite dated and rundown. Carpeting very dirty. The kitchen is well equipped, but the dishwasher works marginally. The knives are very dull. Beds and selves were very comfortable. The pool upon arrival was not clean but the next morning this was remedied.

Unbeatable view, but dated.

I would love to see photos of this place in its hay day. I'd guess this home was built around 1979 or 1980. At one time it must have had a beautiful terraced garden, and glossy paint and gilded finishes. The old heavy ornate doors and oversized ornate door knobs, as well as a few other elements that seem original to home are remarkable, and images of the original home would be remarkable, if they exist. We had a great time. Stayed in the home with 8 to 12 relatives during the week, ranging from 22 years to 80 years old. Also had a great experience with the recommended personal chef. Overall, I'd stay there again next time I'm in San Diego.

Breathtaking views

Couldn't have had a more amazing view. Lots of room for our 14 people. Broken freezer trays, broken locks on kitchen windows, broken locks on outside gates. Not very clean (we had small children). As advertised, no air-conditioning and pool not heated. I did not realize how much the fans could interfere with hearing other people talking. I have more issues with the home, but if they spent a little time updating, fixing, cleaning, and making sense of some of the doors and locks, this place would be fantastic!
