Basilico, Agriturismo Ca'Mazzetto, Organic farmhouse in Franciscan peace trail

A romantic farmhouse with about 130 hectares of land. Very peaceful area, but the position is very central to be able to visit whole Umbria and to make trips also in Toscany, Le Marche and Lazio. Cereal cultivation, olive-trees, meadows for the sheep and horses, woods, old stone houses and the ruins of the 'Castellina' fortress . On our farm we raise Sardinian milking sheep. We have domestic pets and yours are also welcome upon request.
From the hill where the farm is located ( 550m above sea level ) there are breathtaking views over the mountains, hills and valleys. Ideal for trekking. The Franciscan Peace trail from Assisi to Gubbio passes here near.
The farm is organic and controlled by ICEA. We produce extra-virgin olive-oil, cheese from the sheep milk (pecorino, ricotta etc.) The self-catering apartments for max 4 persons are furnished in wooden 'arte povera' style. It is possible to book the dinner for your arrival day. (Also for celiac and for vegetarians). The nearest shops, retaurants and other services 3-4 km from the farm. Each apartment has its own table and chairs outside
