We are so honored to welcome the stunning Catoor house! This gorgeous, unique, modern but so comfortable home is truly a special place to experience the Oregon Coast. The house was designed to showcase the front row oceanfront views from the rooftop deck, spacious great room and the primary bedroom with direct beach access. The main floor great room is spacious, cozy and stunning with a modern glass fireplace, big comfy couch, tv and plenty of room for dining. The dreamy kitchen has double ovens, and plenty of counters for meal prep with family and friends. The bedrooms are spacious and lux with upgraded amenities and stunning bathrooms. The garage is available and has beach chairs and additional storage.

Layout: Mid level entry. Upstairs is great room with large kitchen, dining area, large couch, fireplace and roof-deck access. Mid-level floor has garage access, laundry room, full hall bath, primary bedroom with king bed, beach access and full bath. Downstairs has a spacious den, a bunk room with 2 sets of twin/twin bunks, a hall bath, and 2 additional bedrooms with queen beds. The bedrooms share a full bath.

This home is pet friendly for one or two dogs. Please let us know if you will be bringing a pet so that we can add the non-refundable pet fee of $10/night. Only well-behaved dogs are allowed. Pets are not allowed on the furniture, or left in the house unattended.

Neighborhood:
Kiwanda Shores is a private gated community of quality homes on the ocean front in Pacific City. Security, pride in ownership and peaceful enjoyment of the coastal experience is shared by Kiwanda Shores homeowners and renters alike. A low bank sandy beach slopes to the ocean from the Ocean Front homes. Beach access is available to the Second Row and Back homes.

This home is built directly on a sand dune that leads to the beach. During winter storms the sand can quickly drift and accumulate around the property sometimes affecting the ocean view. Although we make every effort to remove the sand and preserve the view prior to your stay, the winter weather makes this difficult to predict and views may not be guaranteed.

Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.

The safety of our staff, guests and local community is our top priority. This home is professionally managed and cleaned to strict standards in line with CDC guidelines, including supervised housekeeping and post-clean sanitation.

Cancellation policy: 1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 7 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).

Fantastic house in a great location

Outstanding house with a well stock kitchen in a fantastic location. Just a 1/2 mile walk down the beach to Pelican Brewing and a great little coffee shop (Stimulus), two grocery locations less than 5 minutes away by car, and a wonderful restaurant (Riverhouse Nestucca). Our only nits are the lack of any window coverings on the main level (we traded a few awkward waves with people walking buy the beach) and extremely noise beds that will wake up your partner if one of you gets up early or in the middle of the night.

Wedding day get away

Great experience! The heated floor in the master bath, and the rooftop deck were great touches. The view of haystack rock was incredible, especially from the master bedroom.

Holy WOW!

We were looking for a spacious, beautiful, coastal front property and this exceeded expectations. The layout was ideal for our group of 6 (3 sets of moms and adult daughters). We loved everything about it. The kitchen had every conceivable appliance (although finding and using the microwave was a bit tricky). It was the perfect place to stay. The only recommendation is adding stairs to the coast from the deck but that was such a minor detail that I almost didn't mention it!

Amazing property

We booked this property to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. We were amazed at the strategic design of the house.. from the gorgeous functional kitchen with high end appliances and stocked items, to the heated shower station outside of the garage that had direct access to a full bathroom. The master suite was stunning with heated floors in the bathroom with direct access to the beach and views. The two queen bedrooms separated by a Jack and Jill bathroom were a nice touch that made everyone even more comfortable during our stay. The view through the 4 giant windows in the open concept main area was stunning and the observation deck made it possible for my parents to watch the grandkids and feel a part of the outdoor fun. If this property is ever available during a holiday, the dual ovens and high end pots and pans will make cooking and entertaining a dream. We had a wonderful time and our family is so thankful for the wonderful memories we made at this property. Thank you!

Not Worth the Rental Charges

Sure, the property is nice. Step out the master bedroom and right onto the beach. Nice amenities throughout. A garage available to park my car in. Kitchen is well equipped. Plenty of space and bedrooms even though it was just the two of us and our two dogs. Walk over a sand berm onto the beach. Nice restaurant within walking distance. It really is a nice property. What made it not so nice for us: the floors were filthy. So were the kitchen countertops. Also, one of the burners on the gas cooktop had melted through, seemingly dangerous and had apparently been like that for a while. Even though pets are allowed, there was nothing available for them, not even a small doggie pillow for them to lie on. The property owners and/or management company, for what they charge, can and must do better. Reaching out to management was rather difficult, about a 24 hr turnaround to get a response. Then there is the laundry list of things to do upon checkout, the fact that we paid a cleaning fee notwithstanding. But the ultimate insult for us was that we were expected to take the garbage away with us and drop it off at some address (the recyclables) because there is no local pickup. That was a bridge way too far. Please kindly consider the content of our review.
