Gull Cottage - Oregon Beach Vacations

Gull Cottage is a large beachfront home designed with family fun in mind!

This spacious family-friendly rental offers panoramic ocean views from both the living room and the large wrap-around deck, ensuring you can enjoy the scenery in any weather. The living room provides ample seating, allowing the entire family to gather comfortably.

The fully equipped kitchen features updated appliances and everything you need to prepare meals for your group. If you'd rather dine out, plenty of restaurants in Pacific City are just a short drive away!

Step out onto the large wrap-around deck, complete with picnic tables, lounge chairs, and a BBQ grill for guest use. A cornhole set is also available for guests to enjoy some friendly outdoor competition. From the deck, descend the stairs directly onto the shifting sand dunes. These dunes create a private area for families to enjoy the sand without the wind and crowds of the beach. A short walk through the native beach grasses will take you to Pacific City's famous beach.

The upper floor has primary bedroom has a beautiful with a river view, full bath, and a king bed. The 2nd bedroom has a river view and queen bed.

Head downstairs to find the 3rd bedroom with two sets of bunk beds, TV, and an adjacent full bath with walk-in shower. The 4th bedroom has a queen bed.

A ping pong table adds another option for active fun, perfect for guests of all ages to enjoy together.

We had the best time ever at this beach rental. So close to the beach and the big windows were spectacular to watch the ocean and waves. A very private location. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. We have already booked this house for our next beach trip in the spring!

Everything went well. We didn't have to use the downstairs at all so that was good for the housekeepers. We were locked out twice due to not having any first day instructions before we got there related to what the code was to get into the door. Then the code did not work on the door a few days later after we came back from dinner. There was a lock box but the code the phone rep provided me did not work so she had to provide me a second code which worked. That was the only inconvenience that we experienced. I would strongly recommend removing the carpets in the inside stairway and the master bedroom and replace it with some type of laminate flooring as it will help with the musty pet odor smell in the future. Otherwise, your living room upstairs is 'one of a kind' and is worth every penny! Thank you so much!

Good family vacation home.

Gull Cottage met our desire to be on the dunes/beach and still be able to walk to town. The house functioned well, although some carpet desperately needs replacing.

Wonderful

We had a great time at this property. Had everything we needed and plenty of space for our family of 6. Rained the whole time but the wall of windows made for amazing storm watching. Highly recommend!

There was pee stains on the carpet and the house smelled really musty. The windows were really dirty, so we washed them. The lid to the coffee pot was broken and the microwave was also broken (to get the door to open after heating something, we had to unplug it and plug it in again). The path to the beach was not passable and there weren't and outside lights around the deck. The house did have an awesome view. We enjoyed it, but probably wouldn't rent it again.

Sorry the carpet stains, musty smell, dirty windows and the broken coffee pot and microwave impacted your stay — we passed these items to our housekeeping and maintenance teams for a deep clean, ventilation check, professional window cleaning, and appliance repair/replacement. We also alerted maintenance about the impassable path to the beach and the lack of deck lighting so they can assess clearing the route and adding safe outdoor lighting. Glad you enjoyed the view — we appreciate the feedback and would welcome another chance to earn five stars.

Only issue is that the blinds in bedrooms were broken - reported it, but no resolution during our stay.

Awesome house with beach access

This is a great location for your getaway vacation, which is closed to everything especially to the beach by steps! The panorama ocean view from the balcony will make it worthy to stay. The house is pretty clean and roomy, fully stocked with needed supply. I recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay!

Except for front room, house was shabby and in poor repair. Musty bedroom in basement. Tv, internet, and dishwasher inoperable. Bedroom carpet stained and torn. Manager was friendly, on-site maintenance man was friendly, but waiting for repairmen is not my idea of a vacation. Given that, outrageously overpriced.
