From the moment we arrived at this adorable cottage we felt at home! Every day we traveled to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, which were a short, reasonable distance away. We began and ended each day with the beautiful views of the bay, and enjoyed watching the tide come and go. We spent quite a bit of time relaxing on the deck and in the hot tub. Would absolutely come back for another stay!

Beautiful house and location, great layout for couples, families, and friends, comfortable beds and furniture, very clean, well stocked. Excellent host communication, driveway was even plowed when it snowed. Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again.

We had a great stay in this beautiful house! It was clean and the views were amazing. We went hiking and came back to relax. The hot tub was nice too. We would come back again.

Amazing Stay

This is a perfect house to rent for a family or group of friends looking to get away. It is a quiet neighborhood and came with all of the amenities we needed. The hosts were very communicative and checked in with us throughout the stay.

Very nice winter stay

We had a nice stay at the property. All of the amenities work just as advertised. I didn’t expect the hot tub to be as exciting this time of year but it was perfect!!

A Much Needed Break

We had a great time! From watching the wildlife with coffee in hand, cooking in the kitchen and on the grill, to relaxing in the hottub and in the living room watching scary movies... everything was incredibly comforting.

The perfect getaway!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay! The location was perfect, an easy drive to both sides of Acadia. The property and view were amazing, and the home was immaculate! We had been considering several other homes when we were planning our trip, but we are SO glad that we booked here and we would DEFINITELY come back!

Relaxing time in Maine

Excellent property with little extras that make a difference from books to bug spray to sticks for marshmallow roasting. Lovely home and good communication from hosts. We loved our first Maine visit.

Beautiful House on a Tranquil Bay.

Had an amazing time watching the local wild life hanging out on a tranquil bay downeast. Nice quiet and relaxing in the hot tub. Close to the state parks and bar harbor, but secluded so you feel like your staying at your own personal state park. Had an excelkent stay. Thank you.

Cute Cabin on a Beautiful Property

My husband and I stayed here with another couple while visiting Acadia! We loved our stay here! The property is absolutely beautiful! While it is a little bit of a drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor, we still found it super convenient and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the location. The house was fully stocked with spices, coffee and cooking supplies. I would definitely book here again.

Maine trip

We really enjoyed the house. It was exactly as it appears in the pictures. The hosts were very organized and friendly. The house is about 15 minutes to a good sized town and 30 minutes to Acadia with the traffic. The stay itself was effortless.

Long weekend getaway

The house is well appointed in a quiet bay in Franklin. Nice views and very quiet. The area was very tranquil. The location of the property is a longer drive to Bar Harbor than anticipated or indicated in listing.. Access to kayaks was available but the bay was shallow and it would be a struggle putting in even during high tide.

Perfect Maine Retreat

This property was outstanding. The view from the back deck makes you feel like you're the only people for miles. Watching the changes from low tide to high is fascinating. We had a great time with the kayaks and paddle boards (only possible at higher tide levels - delayed almost 2 hours from ocean tide charts), and my kids loved the loft. Highly recommend visiting the nearby Tidal Falls Preserve at different tide levels. Communication with the host was phenomenal. We truly enjoyed this stay!

Family trip

The house was clean, comfortable, and accurately portrayed in the listing. The property owner was in timely communication with us when we asked a question. They gave great tips on local and area to do’s which to me is going above and beyond the expectation. We enjoyed our time at the house and loved the outdoor scenery. I had a great big fire lit every night!!

Pretty view

We had a great stay here for our family vacation. The view was beautiful. To access the water to paddle board and/or kayak is limited due to the tide. Ride was about 35 minutes to Acadia but we found the eastern Acadia and explored the Schoodic Peninsula. That was recommended by a local store owner. It was closer to the house.

Peaceful Retreat by the Lake

This home was a real gem! As soon we arrived, we knew how lucky we were to have picked this house. The grounds had quiet, peaceful, natural beauty. The view of the serene lake was enjoyed from the hot tub, the fire pit, the deck and inside the house. It was the perfect resting place to come back to after spending our days exploring Acadia, Schoodic Point and Bar Harbor. Our family of 3 found the house to be spacious, clean and well-stocked. Lastly, Sydney always replied quickly to any questions I had. We were so happy with our vacation in this house!
