Beautiful, luxurious experience

The property was very well laid out. Our children loved the loft area and there was plenty of space for entertaining. Everything was upscale, from appliances, utensils, to furnishings. We hope to return soon!

Amazing stay

Great place for families! Clean space and responsive host. The split levels made it super easy to still hang out while some slept. The high chair and pack n play made traveling with an infant a breeze! Would definitely come back again.

Beautiful cabin escape

Loved our stay at the Wild Fern! The setting in the woods was perfect. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Would definitely stay again!

Family trip

This property was perfect. I’m a hard critic when it comes to rental places and there is absolutely nothing wrong with this home. It was super clean, furnishing was all in great condition, lots of areas for my family to hang out, beautiful inside and out. I would definitely stay here over and over again

Beautiful, clean, great location!

Beautiful place that is even better in person! The interior design is amazing. I’ve stayed in many cabins in the area and this is by far the best. Would recommend it to anyone! We had a great time.

Wilderness Getaway

Beautiful home to escape to! Both sunny and thunderstorm days were totally joyful with the wall of windows this home offers. Great layout and ample space for our group.

Wonderful stay

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The cabin was clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with everything you could need. The WiFi was slow but honestly we were there to relax so didn't really mind. I will say the driveway is steep, we struggled a little even with AWD. Overall our stay was wonderful, will definitely return!

Hocking hills getaway

Overall this property was very nice and we will stay here again! There is only one other cabin in earshot so it does feel very private and secluded. Be forewarned however that you have zero cell service which can make navigating an unfamiliar area a little bit difficult unless you’ve preloaded some directions in your phone. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds very very comfortable!

Family get away

Great cabin! Just wish we had fresh firewood like description had stated and full propane tanks on property. Other than that - no complaints! Great stay- side note- some more lamps inside would have been nice for a softer lighting option- cabin is very bright.

This cabin is perfect! Hot Tub was amazing with lights and a fountain. Very clean! A++ Communication with Host. Beds are very comfortable I honestly can’t say enough about this place :) Highly Recommend

Awesome location and great property

Fantastic house and location within short drive to hocking. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. Kids loved the little upstairs cove. Nice fire pit. Great hot tub for some relaxation after hiking. Very well stocked and maintained home….No complaints whatsoever.

Birthday weekend

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating at the cabin. We were so cozy and content we didn’t leave the cabin the entire weekend. The cabin is well maintained and equip with high end appliances, faucets etc… The hot tub was fantastic and clean. The only thing I would have preferred would be some table or floor lamps in the main living area, I am not a fan of overhead lighting and felt it was much too bright. We plan to stay here again for our next girls weekend!

Great Place for a Getaway!

This house was the perfect spot for our family getaway. We all loved the layout, it was clean, and it felt very homey. We grilled every day, and the outdoor table was perfect for enjoying those meals on the patio. Loved the big screen TV in the basement for movie nights, too! We also liked the fire pit for s’mores and spending time outside in the evening. The one part that was a little tricky was the driveway. The incline was pretty steep, and one of our cars was not able to make it up all the way. They just parked towards the bottom, though. Overall, this is one of the best places I’ve stayed at in the Hocking Hills area; we would definitely return. Big thanks to our host for providing such a fantastic opportunity. We were all grateful for the wonderful accommodations.

Awesome experience! I suggest a light on bed stand in main floor bedroom. The light in the second floor closet was broken. We had a great time- would love to go back and stay a couple weeks! Do you ever have a weekly rate? Thank you for hosting us!

Tranquility and Relaxation

The cabin is beautiful and new. There is plenty of space for a family to enjoy indoor and outdoor activities. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, baking pans, and storage containers. The refrigerator is a large capacity if you are planning on having many meals in the cabin. The gas fireplace is a bonus for added warmth and charming ambiance. TVs in all bedrooms are great! The huge basement TV is wonderful for family movie night along with the reclining sectional for added comfort. Having a few board games to do family bonding was a bonus! The hot tub was the highlight of our relaxation! It isn't one of those tiny ones that most of the cabins in the area have. It was large enough for myself and 3 teenagers to relax and not touch each other lol. If there was any downfall of the property, it would be the driveway. It is quite steep, and we were very lucky there was no snow or ice. Even if there were, it would not deter us from renting here again. We had a few issues when we arrived and the owner was very easy to contact and he responded quickly with help. WIFI in the area was not good but we managed. Overall we had a spectactular time and immensely enjoyed the cabin.

The perfect cabin

This cabin was perfect for my daughter's 16th birthday celebration. The entire cabin is very high-end, modern and clean. I had one question and the owner responded to me right away. We will definitely be back!

Christmas Cabin

This cabin is better than any online photos or description! It was super clean, private and beautiful! We loved the multiple gathering areas inside and outside- including large dining area, basement movie/game space, hot tub and bonfire pit! Each bedroom is cozy with a tv and full bath—the loft bedroom was perfect for my 2 young children. You never have to leave the cabin, but only 15 minutes from Old Man’s Cave! It’s a perfect home away from home, and we will be back!
