Location, location, location! We were thrilled to be just south of the Plaka neighborhood and the Acropolis Museum. We discovered the nearby Takis Bakery and I loved their chocolate banana bread so much I had to go back for more! There are plenty of restaurants and gelato stores nearby too. There is an OK Market nearby also if you want to pick up a few items for breakfast in and such.

This was a lovely property in a perfect location. Everything we needed and went to was within walking distance. The apartment was well stocked and very comfortable. My brother-in-law did say that the bed they were on was a little too firm. But otherwise it was great.

This is a great location and we enjoyed the stay. The only drawback is the listing states 1100 checkout but staff showed up at 1000 so there is some confusion. All in all the stay was perfect.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Location can't be beat. Proximity to various restaurants and Acropolis was perfect for us. Clean apartment with high ceilings. Would stay here again.

The condo was great - clean, well appointed and had everything we needed. Instructions left were clear and easy to follow, and communication with the owner was great! The location is fantastic - restaurants within a few steps, and always felt safe, and close to everything we needed. Would recommend highly!

An absolutely wonderful apartment within easy walking distance to the Acropolis, museums, restaurants, and fun bars. The apartment was clean, comfortable and exactly as advertised. The location cannot be beaten. Literally at the footsteps of the Acropolis Museum and a short walk from the Plaka and Acropolis. So easy to get around and enjoy the city. Easy entrance and such a great place to stay for all of our needs. Drive to the port was short and easy. Highly recommend!

Exploring Athens by Foot

Location was perfect, just a short walk to the Acropolis and the Plaka area. We felt safe and enjoyed the closeness to a local coffee shop. Loved the layout of the home, althought the spiral staircase was a little unnerving to ascend and descent at first. It was clean and had a welcoming vibe.

Beautiful place, perfect location!

Perfect location - walking distance to the Acropolis, National Gardens, modern Olympic stadium, Monument to the Unknown Soldier/Evzones, and amazing restaurants and shops! Short walk from the Acropoli metro station, which is how we got to the home from the airport. The home was just as shown in the listing, and had a great selection of movies and books. I'll stay here again when I'm back in Athens.

Location was perfect. The property had potential but needed repairs. Two of the toilet seats were broken. The only shower had mold. There were many books and artifacts but made it kind of dusty.

The location was excellent, close to the Acropolis and lots of great restaurants, and the hosts communicated well about how to access the property. There was lots of space and overall it was clean enough and had what we needed. However there were some minor issues. There were appliance parts, rolled mats and other random items in corners, cupboards and on shelves - many gathered dust and made it feel cluttered. The curtain in the main bedroom and blind in the lounge weren’t fully working. There were no instructions for the TV, it was very dusty and not fully connected - we weren’t able to use it, although admittedly did not contact the host for instructions. The upstairs bath/shower isn’t really useable. There is no shower curtain or screen to enable a proper shower and the bath jets were so full of mould/dirt that it couldn’t be used as a bath either.

There was an easy check in and amazingly convenient location. However, the listing is inaccurate in that one of the bathrooms does not have a shower or bath as listed and had such a bad smell we could not use it. I messaged the property manager but never heard back. The other bathroom also had bubbles/foam coming up from the drain after the shower. The place definitely needs some updates - one of the bathroom cabinets pretty much fell off when i opened it. There is a Keurig type coffee maker but kind of old and no coffee provided. There was also some personal clutter around and bunch of dust. The location was great and it was fine for short term but there definitely could be some improvements and a revised listing with bathroom situation.

Bed bugs

The listing was not accurate about the number of showers and we got bed bugs! We should have noticed right away there would be a problem when we found bed bug traps. Also, the property owner would not reply to my questions after multiple attempts and calls to VRBO support. Very disappointing! We cut our visit short and moved to a different hotel.
