Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space located in the heart of the farming district of Puyallup. This space is a haven of peace and quiet, where you will enjoy Rody Creek outlining this 8 acre property. We are neighbors to Watson’s Nursery, right next door, a short walk to gorgeous seasonal flowers, a coffee shop and restaurant, and live reindeer at Christmas! In the summer, enjoy 4 acres of mowed lawn for kickball or picnics in our apple orchard. You will not be disappointed!!

Absolute treat to stay here! Hosts were so helpful. Very clean. All amenities we could need. Fireplace was so relaxing. The back patio overlooking acres of natural land you could also walk through!
The moon was such a treat!

Property is above the 3-car garage of a primary residence, with private entrance. So long as one is able to take one flight of stairs up to the area, everything is as advertised -- and likely lesser stairs overall compared to many Seatlle-area properties, where 2 or 3 stories are typical. Very nice floorplan and finishing touches -- upper-end, new-quality construction. Spacious and comfortable. We did not encounter any neighbors or homeowner. Nearby train might bother some (occasional whistles), but wasn't something that would dissuade us from staying again. Comfortably met our needs.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farm House! It was super clean and had everything we needed. The owners were so accommodating! Even though they were on the property with us, they respected our privacy. The train did not bother any of us and we loved the snacks that were left in the basket in the kitchen. We will gladly book this place again! Thank you for a great place to hang while we were in the area!

3 days day in Puyallup

It was a very nice space that looked new and modern and matched the online photos. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. While there was some training noise in the distance it was not bothersome.

Best stay in Puyallup!

This is our second time staying at Joan and Greg’s home and we hope it wont be our last. We maintain vacation rentals for a living and do have a tendency to be picky. The house is always spotless and the hosts are very responsive to any needs we might have. The location is close enough to stores and restaurants yet far enough away from everything to still be quiet and peaceful. The kitchen has anything you could need and the welcome basket of snacks is a nice treat after the drive in. The beds are very comfortable and there are sound diffusers to help you if you’re not a fan of trains. The CSX and Sounder tracks are nearby but not a distraction, just adds to the ambiance. We give them 5 stars because we can’t give them 10.

Excellent stay! The place was beautiful and host was amazing. Would recommend to anyone headed to the Seattle area. Our host not only had a beautiful place for us to stay but she also gave us many ideas of things to do and even ordered a grill to use when we asked if they had one which was not necessary but shows they want your stay to be perfect. Beautiful Home

This is a lovely home and is well represented by the pictures. The kitchen is very well-equipped with high quality items, including pans, dishes and cutlery. The beds are high quality and very comfortable. Check-in was very easy. Strongly recommend and will probably try to stay there on our next visit to the Seattle area.

Family vacation

This was my first time leaving the Hawaiian Islands, my family and I came for my daughter’s wedding. Greg and Joan were so helpful and so kind. Communicating with them was an ease, their rental was absolutely gorgeous!! We loooved hearing the train every morning!! There was the possibility of a bomb cyclone the night before we were to leave to go back home, and Joan was so kind as to offering my family and I the option to come back and stay another night if our flights got canceled. We will definitely be back!!

Family Thanksgiving

So happy we found this beautiful apartment for our visit with our daughter. The place was the perfect setting for our Thanksgiving dinner. Beautiful, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Joan was very responsive to any questions we had, and very very gracious. Would definitely rent this place again when we come back to visit.

A wonderful place to stay!

Joan’s place was such a great find. It’s close to family we were visiting. Was spotless and had everything we needed. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay a night and she was very accommodating with that. Will definitely be back!

Not a true description

The apartment is very nice. It is an apartment with 19 steps to get to the door. Their is a train horn sound every 20-30 minutes all night. The host know about the train because the apartment is atteched to the house. There is noise machines to cover the noise of the trains. We asked for a refund after 1 night.

Our family has lived on this property for 30 years. The gray cottage out front is the original farm house for all of the surrounding farmland and was built in 1926.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose this neighborhood 30 years ago to raise and homeschool our six children. Our children are adults now and we are enjoying our many grandchildren!

The Beautiful Valley Farm is surrounded on 3 sides by a salmon bearing creek. We are close to I-5 and Hiway167. The State Fair has its home in Puyallup, where our family performed music together for 15 years!
The Sounder train runs from Puyallup to Seattle daily, making a delightful day trip. Ask us for free parking options near the station.
