Welcome to this distinctive vacation property managed locally by Island Time Hilton Head.

Beautifully updated 3-bedroom villa in Shelter Cove. Come in, take a seat, and relax in the living room. The living room, kitchen, and dining room have an open layout. The kitchen has granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, and smooth ceilings. The living room has plenty of seating to relax after a long day at the pool and beach. On the first level, the guest bedroom has a king bed. The guest bathroom has a combination tub and shower. The primary bedroom features a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a combination tub and shower.

Heading up the spiral staircase, you are met with an open and bright space. The lofted bedroom offers plenty of space with a great workspace and two double beds. This bedroom offers an ensuite bathroom with a combination tub and shower.

The private balcony overlooks the long, tranquil lagoon.

• Anchorage has an incredible pool/spa center that features a charcoal grill, fridge, and TV . It is mere steps from the varied shopping and dining amenities inside Hilton Head Island's most beautiful harbor – Shelter Cove. Pool Season is February - November 1st.

Shelter Cove Area:
Shelter Cove is located mid-island and is convenient for accessing all parts of Hilton Head. However, you may never need to leave as there are so many things to do right outside your door. If water sports interest you, nearby you will find kayak and canoe rentals, fishing boat charters, jet-ski rentals, dolphin and sightseeing cruises, as well as dinner cruises. Rent a bicycle and take advantage of the miles and miles of bike paths that the island has to offer or pedal the short distance to the beach and spend the day in the sand and surf. Spend an afternoon shopping and dining at the many boutiques and restaurants located along the water's edge at the beautifully landscaped marina. You will also have use of the building's private pool, located within the gated grounds. As a guest at Shelter Cove, you will have access to all of the amenities that Palmetto Dunes has to offer such as the beach club, the Dunes House restaurant, 3 world class golf courses and fantastic tennis facilities. The Dunes Buggy is just a phone call away and is a free shuttle service that is available in season to take you anywhere within the Palmetto Dunes area, should you not have a car or choose not to drive. The Shelter Cove Shopping Center is conveniently located nearby, offering a Kroger grocery store, a variety of restaurants, and an array of shops to explore.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great unit, it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. I would stay here again. My only complaint has nothing to do with the unit but there are no sidewalks unless you make your way through paths back to the marina area of shelter cove.

The Villa condo was the perfect size and location for our family vacation. The extra amenities (pool and hot tub) were an added bonus for our 9-year old granddaughter! I think she would still be floating around the pool if she could! Rooms were all clean and kitchen fully stocked with necessities for cooking and entertaining. Love the large bonus room with two beds. Thanks for helping create happy family memories.

The carpets could use a deep clean and the addition of a few more cooking utensils (one small sauce pan but 4 fry pans) would be nice. The Island Time folks were great as always and very helpful.

Great spot, close to everything

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Lovely, clean and spacious unit. Bedroom upstairs with 2 beds is huge. Close to everything. To get to the beach, you need to take a shuttle, but the pick up and drop off is very quick and convenient. Be aware that this unit has a flight of stairs to get up to it. Island Time was very responsive after hours when we checked into our original unit that clearly had had a dog staying it in and we needed to move.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place is ok for short stay if you’re not cooking. Kitchen is awkward cabinets in poor condition. Master bath needs updating. Shower is awkward to turn on without getting into tub. Takes long time for water to get hot. Vanity has no drawers. Toilet is ancient requires multiple flushes. Beds were comfortable but no drawers for clothes if a long stay. Pool area was lovely

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 4 guys on a golf trip and looking for a place to stay. We didn't need fancy as we weren't planning on being in the unit except to sleep. The beds and couches were very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The location, being mid-island, was great for access to everywhere on the island. We walked over to the HH Social kitchen for breakfast and the Mexican place for dinner. One thing to note is that this is a second floor unit with no elevator and there are additional stairs inside the unit. It wasn't a problem for us, but if you have mobility issues, you should go somewhere else. It's not on the beach, but overall, we were quite content and would stay here again

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved that the location was easy walking distance to Shelter Cove, but expect a 13ish min bike to the beach. A few things “weren’t as they seemed” w/the unit.. for bath lovers, couldn’t get the tub faucet to work in the MBR, no lock on the second bedroom king sized BR, construction & sawdust underneath our unit all wk, mold on MBR ceiling. Thankful Hayley helped us figure out the unit had a “misprint” on sleeping 10 ppl. They quickly helped reimburse for an air mattress which our 6ft teen slept on all wk w/out complaint. The unit was reasonably priced so knowing that offset the complaints listed above. Just don’t expect updated bathrooms, but trendy decor & a pool out your door...

Thank you for your feedback, Kara. For beach access we recommend taking the Dunes Buggy for drop off if you did not want to take your bike. This is a free shuttle in Palmetto Dunes. For the bathtub, we wish you would have let us know your troubles to offer assistance in using the tub. It has a push/pull diverter and you can’t pull it out with the water running.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at this Villa! It looked exactly like the pictures. The balcony might even be better than the pictures show because there is a little sliver of the marina that you can see and watch boats go by and lots of birds and wildlife in the pond. The property itself is older, but this unit has had a lot of updates including new appliances that worked well. It was also very clean, and comfortable. The location is amazing, just walk across the property and you're at the Shelter Cove Marina with all the boating and kayaking activities that offers. It is also centrally located on the island so nothing is a far drive or bike ride away. The only thing I would caution is it is located up 2 flights of stairs so if someone has mobility issues that could be very difficult. The reward for that though is the views. Overall this is an excellent property in a great location that made for a very enjoyable week for our family of 4, 2 adults a 13 and 11 year old. Island Time was also great to work with and made everything easy. We would for sure return to this property when we come back to Hilton Head

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property looks good in the photos but doesn’t look as good in person. There were multiple issues with the condo aside from the fact that it needed a very thorough cleaning. The kitchen lacks storage space for food so we had to keep non-refrigerated food on the countertop and in a tote. The kitchen is not stocked very well (we could only find one sauce pan and no cookie sheet). There was mold on the ceiling and vent in the master bathroom. The walls were dirty. The rugs had not been vacuumed. The dining table was so small that it was tight for four people. The washing machine and dryer are stacked in a small closet and they were not joined together properly as the dryer was apart from the washer. The rental company was fantastic to deal with, but we will not rent this particular unit again.

Condo was well equipped, and we enjoyed our time there. Lots of steps to get there if that’s an issue for you. Master bath needs improvement, tub shower that’s difficult to get in and out of, no grab safety bar and the bottom was slippery. Needs to be addressed. Other than that it was all good.
