We're really sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the location of the property. We have never had a safety issue at this property (or any of our 40+ properties), as we would not be at the host status that we are at, if we supplied properties in unsafe locations for our dear guests. The city of Richmond is a very urban and diverse city with a ton of unique attributes. We suggest researching a little bit more on the area, if you have concerns about staying in an urban area or city. Regardless of traveling with children or not, most people tend to visit local restaurants while staying at our properties - it's a part of the experience, for most! Richmond has a TON of fun, neat and one-of-a-kind restaurants with unique experiences. The Richmond Region is home to more than 30 craft breweries, distilleries and cideries and hundreds of restaurants. We aim to provide all kinds of information that would appeal to any traveler - singles, couples, families, friends, etc. A lot of properties in Richmond are historic, therefore, there is the possibility of hearing your neighbors when staying in a duplex or apartment, as well as a first-floor apartment (that can go for any property, really); it just depends on how noisy the neighbors are. We're always here for you in the event a neighbor is ever too noisy, as we manage the upstairs property, as well, and are more than happy to communicate on your behalf to the other party.
