We had a great stay while visiting the Salem area. Kuan was an excellent host providing everything we needed from the essentials, locating the driveway with ease, local stores and restaurants. Checking in and out was a breeze as well. No detail was missed. Beautiful home and great outside areas for relaxing with family. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.
The house is beautiful and located near the archeological remains of the house where the first person "Tituba" was accused of being a witch. The grill was unusable due to the bottom of the grill being rusted out and had fallen on top of the propane tank and gas line. The dishwasher wouldnt run a full cycle due to a drain pump issue and needs fixed. Kuan's responsiveness was fairly quick and he assured us it would be taken care of. Our stay was wonderful and the area is quiet, just what we wanted. We walked to a few nearby sites and took a few trips to Salem and Boston. Plenty of on site parking and close to everything.
Very central location with easy access to town and highways. Plenty of room for everyone to stay comfortably for multiple nights. Beautiful backyard with a spacious patio was a highlight of the property. Communication with the owner was exceptional!
We had family visiting us the 4th of July week and this was a perfect location. The property was clean and matched the description. Kuan communicated frequently to make sure we were all set. We will certainly book again.
This home is very spacious, charming, and versatile. There are spaces for group functions and enough smaller rooms to have quiet, alone time. There is also plenty of outdoor space for both adult and child activities (when the weather cooperates). The location is very convenient. The house is very clean and well maintained. It has the charm of an older home with the modern conveniences provided in an updated kitchen and 2 updated bathrooms. There is plenty of off-street parking on the property.
The home was just as described, very clean and the patio and yard are wonderful. Sadly we were a week or two too early for the Peonies to be in bloom. Iâm sure itâs amazing at that time. The host was very accommodating and provided all those little things you may forget when travelingI highly recommend this property.
We were in Danvers for a fitness training and the rooms and the house was beautiful and super well mantained. We needed a place to rest and chill after getting back from our workouts and training and the property was exactly ehat we needed. The bathrooms had more than we expected, we felt like in a high class hotel. The beds were all very comfy. Kitchen fully equipped. Communication with Kuan was excellent. We will definitely stay there if we come back to Boston.
We found this rental very last minute and consider ourselves lucky to have stayed here. It was the perfect proximity to the places we wanted to see including the commuter rail into Boston. The house is so beautiful and our hosts thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. We sat outside on the patio in the evenings slept comfortably at night. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We canât wait to make this our landing spot for our next trip to the Northeast.
This was a great spot for our group of 5 adults and 2 kids. We visited cousins in the area and were able to celebrate the holidays in the house with our family. There are lots of places to take small children in the area: the public library had a huge childrenâs area. We went to the Wenham Museum, Cowabunga and the Peabody North Shore Childrenâs museum. The weather and timing prevented us from going to the nearby parks that looked fun. There was lots of snow and the kids had fun playing in the big backyard and the mudroom was convenient. The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. We appreciated the wine and snacks our host provided.
This was among the best homes we've stayed at. The owner was thoughtful, responsive and thought of the things we might need or want during our stay. I hope and pray we can stay again! Simply loved the house and property!
From before booking to the moment we left, Kuan was an excellent host. His home was beautiful and we loved every moment staying there. We are a group of women in our mid-30âs and can appreciate how well a house is laid out. The decor, the supplies, the layout of the home were all phenomenal. The house had everything we need, was a great location, and we hope we can return one day!
We chose the property we stayed at because it was located near the areas we wanted to explore. The house was large, comfortable, beautifully decorated, with a lovely outdoor patio that we were able to enjoy. The kitchen was especially user friendly with everything that we needed to prepare meals. The formal dining room was lovely!
The host is very gracious and was readily available to communicate with us.
I recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit the Boston area.
We had an excellent stay here! The house was spacious and perfect for our stay in Salem. All amenities were taken care of and everything was so clean. The location is near some cool historical sites and the backyard is very spacious. Lovely home and even lovelier host đ€
P.s the tire swing was a huge hit!!
We had a fantastic time! The property is beautiful and the host makes sure you have everything you need, and more! Close to everything! Clean, beautiful, would definitely stay again! Thank you for having us!!!
We were in the area for my daughterâs wedding. This was a great place to stay for the family. Lots of hidden gems in the house. Just looking at the decor was an experience. The kitchen was fully stocked with great kitchen gadgets.
My family and I spent three nights at Kuan's home, and it was lovely! Kuan prepared the property early for us, provided clear and timely instructions for check-in and check-out, and provided a basket of snacks and a complimentary bottle of wine. The indoor/outdoor spaces were great for hosting up to 7 adults! We were also just minutes from Salem. Highly recommend this VRBO rental to anyone who is looking to stay north of Boston.
What a wonderful property, an oasis in Danvers. Kuan is such a pleasure to communicate with.
The house and property are so relaxing with great furnishings. The yard is beautiful and with numerous seating areas, the flowers and shade trees were beautiful
I rent numerous times a year and this is one of the best experiences I've ever had.
Thank you Kuan for your hospitality and generosity.
Beautiful, comfortable home with a relaxing patio and deep yard perfect for kids!!! This property is spectacular! You need it, Kuan has it there for you! We kept referring to the property as âhomeâ!! So many fun times at the property that we will always remember. Will definitely stay there again!!
This property had everything we could possibly need and want! Very clean in a good safe quiet neighborhood. We loved being so close to the historical site a very short walk down the block. The owner was fantastic with great and swift communication. I would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends and family!
Such a special home. Specious and full of character. We had a wonderful time and we hope to come again soon.
Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. Greatly appreciated!
The trip consised of exploring the the East coast. Myself ,my daughter, daughter n law, 2 nieces and 3 sisters stayed in this lovely home. It was absolutely amazing
We were in town with family as our son was running the Boston marathon. It was a great place for us to cook, hang out, quiet and comfy nights sleep and fun for our 3 year old grandson to watch the fish, play on the swing set and explore the property. Kuan was very attentive and thought of all the extras to make our stay easy and comfortable! Thanks!
Hi, there! My name is Kuan. We are a small family with two boys. We are originally from Taiwan and settled in Danvers about 10 years ago. This was our first house; our kids and dogs have grown up in this house, so we didnât want to just sell it. There are so many great memories attached to this home. Therefore, we decided to keep the house and turn it into a short-term rental so others can enjoy it as much as we did!!
We would like to introduce a little bit of the house history to you. This is a historic house built in 1848. Over the years, it was turned into a two-family house. We originally moved into the unit on the second floor. We were lucky enough to purchase the whole house several years ago. At that time, we renovated the whole first floor and some parts of the upstairs and turned it into a single-family house which we lived in until July of 2022 when we purchased a home in the next town. That is why there are two kitchens in this house. However, the upstairs kitchen is not being utilized at this time.
