Cute but small 3 bedroom with only 1 full bath. For 6 people it was a little small. No dining area so meals were eaten on TV trays. Also didnât advertise that it was 2 story. Stairs can be a challenge for people with limited mobility.
There were a couple of things that were disappointing. Our stay was in the summer and the listing says it has air-conditioning. In the entire home there were two portable units. There was one in the family room and one in one bedroom. This left the rest of the bedrooms without air. It was very hard to sleep being that it was hot. The other thing was the stains in the carpet. The carpet needed a good cleaning. We didn't use the kitchen or the laundry. They looked nice. If it would have air conditioning throughout we would have been comfortable.
This house is exactly what we needed. Very clean and cutely decorated. The host was a great communicator and easy to contact. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!
We really enjoyed this property. Each room has individual heaters which was useful because each person had different preferences for temperature. We bought our dogs on the trip and they thoroughly enjoyed a huge field next to the house. I loved the access to the garage to keep my car safe from the elements. Overall we had a great stay. Thank you!
We appreciated the proximity to the Fields at Real Life. My kids soaked in the coziness of the house after a long day of soccer. Theyâve asked to stay again on our next trip through.
Kay's place was a perfect house for our weekend stay. She really thought of everything, I especially liked the little personal care baskets with anything you could possibly need! We would definitely rebook in the future, thanks!
This stay was not what I could expect for paying nearly 700 for two nights. Check in and check out instructions werenât sent unless I asked, multiple things broken and/or wrong with the house. House was definitely not clean and had an overall dirty feel -especially the bedding and the bathrooms- which I communicated to the host about, sent pics, and she tried to contact her house cleaner. Not enough plates (5) for the number of people staying (6). Coffee maker unusable. Just not as described. Host communicated well and did apologize. It served the purpose of a place to sleep but not ideal. I do appreciate the host trying to rectify issues while we were there.
Very clean and had everything we needed! Appreciated water in the fridge for our arrival. Close to everywhere we wanted to go, Spokane for work, and Coeur dâAlene for fun! The neighborhood is so quiet! I also appreciated all the little touches, water in the fridge, icemaker, night, lights for the hallways, and loved the shower curtain rod that doubles as a place to hang your towel. L O L, no place ever has enough rods to hang your towel. Last, appreciate the 3 PM check in and 11 AM check out. The extra hour both ways was very convenient. Property owner was responsive, let us know about the new espresso maker. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.
Very easy check in. Host was very responsive. Lots of extra amenities, toiletries and other daily living essentials. Very hot during our stay, host insured the house was nice and cool. House is beautifully decorated and very well maintained. Very cute and inviting. The living space is a little small for a family with young children. No place for dining table. Two story house, so we brought a baby gate. Back yard is extremely small but perfectly set up for adult gatherings or older children. House is very compactfully located in a small parcel plotted development. Easy access to Silverwood only about 25 min away. Would definitely book again if grandchildren were not with us.
Kay was a delight to work with and answered all our questions immediately. Check in was simple. She had the home ready for us hours before the check in time.
We stayed in her home while spending time with our new grandson. Kay had no problem with our son bringing his dog while visiting. There's a huge grassy field in front of the neighborhood homes that is great for dogs that do well off leash. Most of its fenced in but always wise to be alert. There's also a very small enclosed area between the house and garage where we sat in lawn chairs in the evening and enjoyed the quiet. The bedrooms are a decent size with comfortable bedding and we appreciated the extra 1/2 bath off the laundry room. While there is no table there are tv tray/stands in the closet next to the tv. The area is quiet and neighbors seem pleasant.
There are several good restaurants within a 5 minute drive. If you like burgers try Burger Bunker with its delicious military themed burgers (a nod to those who are/have served and emergency services personnel)
We plan on returning to Post Falls several times over the next few months and hope to stay at Kay's if it's available.
We have family there so it worked out fine for a place to sleep. The property presented well, however, there isn't a kitchen table, toaster or blender. We were also surprised that the preferred seating was on the couch. If you have one car, it is nice to park inside the garage. The dog area is fine for a small dog but not a big dog that needs room. Overall, we'd stay again.
