Cute 2 bedroom shotgun home in Germantown/Schnitzleburg. Very clean.
Centrally located, only 3 miles from Churchill Downs and the Louisville airport, 2.5 miles from downtown Louisville, and less than 2 miles to the Highlands. Coffee shops, bars and restaurants are within walking distance! dog friendly with a fenced-in backyard.
Neighborhood overview - Walking distance to Goss Avenue and other neighborhood locations where you will find several restaurants and bars. Favorite restaurants; Check's Cafe, Monnik beer company North of Bourbon.
Getting around- Uber or taxi is usually around $10 to get to downtown, Churchill Downs, or the airport.

Exactly what we needed!

Stayed here while my house was being renovated. Not only was it a great stay, she even let me extend my dates when construction ran long. Had just about everything I, my son, and our dog needed while we were gone from home! Highly recommended this cute house for you next stay.

Great House!

This house was perfect for our needs. Close to downtown and the Expo center. The fenced yard was great for our dog. It has everything you could possibly need. Nice decor and very clean. We have stayed at this house twice and would definitely book it again. We felt truly at home there.

Beautiful shotgun house in perfect location

This house was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway with my husband and dogs. We could walk just around the corner to Monnik Brewery which I highly recommend. It was a quick drive to several distilleries (If you get sick of bourbon try Cooper& King’s brandy). Louisville has a ton to offer and the house was in the perfect location to be close to everything.

Perfect for our needs!

We relocated to Louisville and stayed here inbetween homes. Though there was more noise then we were use to, we quickly became accustomed to it. Location was near great restaurants, grocery, and gas. Pet friendly, which we needed and very clean and tidy. Michelle was great and checked in on us regularly. Thank you!

What a great place to stay!

I was in Louisville for a truck show and this 2 BR/1 BA was perfect for me and my friend. The location was great, just a short uber ride. Michelle is a great host. She had just about everything you could think of with the exception of shaving cream, or if she had it, I didn't see it lol. If I'm ever in Louisville again in this area, I would definitely stay here again. One of the reasons I picked it was because of the reviews and now I know why she gets great reviews.

Lifesaver

My family stayed here evacuating from North Carolina due to the Hurricane. I was able to book on a short notice and Michelle, the owner was very accommodating and hospitable. She made sure we had everything we needed and was happy to answer any questions we had. The house was very clean and spacious and perfect for us and our dogs. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to visit Louisville.

perfect location

We were looking for a place near our daughter's apartment in the Highlands area. Michelle's place was a couple of miles away and a perfect gathering spot for the three of us and our corgi! Michelle checked in on us to make sure that we had everything we needed and suggested a few restaurants offering carry-out during the pandemic. We will definitely try to book this place again on our next visit to Louisville.

A great home in a very unique part of Louisville

We stayed at Michelle's place in Louisville in the heat of July and we loved it . It is an older, comfortable home in a pretty interesting part of Louisville, called Germantown (or was it in Schnitzelburg?). It seems that the neighbourhood is starting to get transformed from an older, shabby neighbourhood to a more vibrant, interesting one, with some cool microbrew pubs, coffee shops, and thrift stores. Michelle was great to communicate with and her images and description of her home are accurate. -Michael and Claire

The Perfect Spot

This property was perfect for seeing almost everything in Louisville. It is less than 15 minutes from The Louisville Slugger Museum, The Brown Hotel, Louisville Slugger Field, The Zoo, The Speed Art Museum, The Mega Caverns, Churchill Downs, The Falls Of Ohio State Park, Copper & Kings, and many other great distilleries and restaurants. And less than an hour from the Lincoln Heritage Trail and the Waverly Hills Sanatorium. We did alot, and it was great to have such a nice house to stay operate from. The owner came and made sure everything was perfect for us too. It is a much bigger home than we were expecting, and was easy to spend such an extended stay there. Our puppy took right to the place too. If we visit the area again, this home will be the first place we check. :)

Excellent property, very comfortable!!

My mom and I stayed for 8 days. It was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals and large enough that we could sit and visit while cooking. The beds are very comfortable and it started to feel like home after the first night. Michelle is a great communicator and stays on top of any questions before and during this day. The neighborhood is very up and coming with lots of great local restaurants and close to the racetrack, the Exposition Center, downtown and many other sights. When we are back in Louisville we will definitely want to rent this home.

Germantown Gem

The owner, Michelle, was a great help. The house is a lot bigger than the pictures show! Close proximity to several craft beer brewery/ bars and restaurants. Quick drive or Lyft (this is bourbon country, folks) to downtown. Highly recommended!
