We had a great stay this year for mini season. The property was beautiful, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We were able to dock our 23T Bluewater with no issue and the sea wall was in perfect condition. The owners were quick to respond to my questions and very kind. We canât wait to stay again next year.
Great home! Brand new kitchen with everything you could ask for. Comfortable beds and nice linens throughout and a great layout. Bait freezer, too. Owner very responsive. We'll be back!
Meh. It was ok when the ac worked and the ants stayed away.
The house was clean so that was nice. Grill was left filthy and with no propane so we borrowed propane from the neighbor and gave him $35 worth of ballyhoo bait in exchange for using it twice. He complained to the owner that I didnât also replace the gas so the owner charged us $20 for it without even asking me what happened. Also the neighbors happy dog was annoying and they let it run wild on our side of the fence. AC went out Saturday and it was 86 degrees in the house when it was âfixed.â Never cooled less than 77 after. Huge ants present in the house and couldnât find where they were coming from. I asked to add an additional night and was told there is an âextra charge for having six peopleâ despite the fact that the rental is listed for six people and I didnât pay an extra charge to begin with, so I had to pay an extra $20 on the last night when they hadnât charged for extra people previously. The owner offered to refund one night (without the extra person charge and minus the $20 for propane) for the AC issue and that didnât even cover our stay at a hotel for when the AC was broken. Also- it is advertised as âbring just your luggageâ but we had to purchase dish detergent, trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent. We never could find a broom or dust pan so we couldnât sweep all week, which was annoying. I wonât be renting from them again and I hope to never hear from them.
We enjoyed staying at this property. It has everything necessary and was very convenient for our family. Cabana club has a great pool and a nice beach. Sunset park is walking distance and has spectacular sunsets. The owner was very helpful, kind and responsive.
We have stayed at this property several times. It is always super clean. House is located on a canal with a nice dock and is great for docking your boat right at the back door. Owners are super nice and great to work with. Will definitely be back.
From the easy booking ,thanks to Heather, to a quick solution for a sink disposal malfunction thanks to Summer and Jeremy we were able to enjoy our time at Paradise.
Extremely clean and well equipped house.
Backyard and deck area facing east brings nice shadow in the afternoon.
No doubt this is a place to repeat again.
We had a great experience, from reservation process to check out! Heather, you were so helpful and Palm Paradise is a lovely home and a perfect location for all our excursions!
This house was one of the best we've stayed in. We've always stayed in KCB and have never been disappointed but this house was a notch above. Clean is an understatement. The linens were excellent, towels thick and soft (we thought they were new), beds are comfy, etc. It's obvious the owners look at this property as more than just a rental. It was as nice as I keep my own home. Our overall rating would be a10 and that's hard to achieve. Very well done! Summer, you rock!
We were very impressed with everything from the communication with the property manager (Heather). She was helpful with all of our questions. House is taken care of and stocked with everything you would need. Great location for restaurants, shopping and fishing! Can't wait to spend another week there. Thank you for our wonderful escape!!
We loved the property! Heather was prompt any time we had a question. The home is lovely with very nice furnishings. We loved that it was only a little over an hour in both directions of Key Largo and Key West where we scuba and snorkeled. We enjoyed the atmosphere and community of Key Colony. We attended a free 4-6 PM Concert at Sunset Park & Beach, and it was fun to see couples in the community dancing. The local residence were very nice and helpful. We also enjoyed using the Cabana Club Pool and Beach a lot too! The food and Pina Coladas were good there. I would say our stay was a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend this property to anyone who enjoys a quality place to stay! Thank you Heather and Family!
Here are our observations of our February stay at your beautiful condo:
- spacious rooms, comfortable beds.
- Great collection of books and menus for local restaurants.
- Great binder of local fishing and recreational resources
- Great Kitchen Appliances, and Washer and Dryer. Well stocked dishes and utensils.
- Beautiful view of the canal, boat and pelican traffic gliding by the front porch deck.
- Great BBQ Grille and dockside sitting area.
- Beautifully maintained landscaping.
- Helpful caretaker, very responsive.
- The Cabana Club Membership is a real PLUS, as listed on VRBO. So glad my wife pursued finding it. We used it often.
Everything about the property was excellent from the start. Getting the key was easy, there are lots of hoses and 110V access for boat cleaning and charging, and access to the property is a piece of cake by boat.
We had everything we needed to cook dinner and have a great time!
We love islands, fishing, beaches, and seafood. The Florida Keys have all of this and more. This is our vacation home and we care for it like we do our own home. That means you always have a well-equipped kitchen, luxury appliances, cold AC, and comfortable bedding. We also have great neighbors!
We love go to Sparky's grill and bar (try the Mahi tacos!) for Happy Hour or dinner after a long day of fishing! The Stuffed Pig is one of our favorite breakfast joints. We also enjoy family walks around the island to watch the sunset, and along the scenic Seven Mile bridge. Key West is an easy drive but, if it's during holiday season, be sure to allow yourself extra time for the traffic. Keep your eyes out for lots of wildlife! We often see large iguanas, manatees, sea turtles, dolphins, and many beautiful birds.
Time after time, our guests tell us they LOVE the well-equipped kitchen! Our property faces East which means you can enjoy the afternoon breezes and avoid the hot summer sun. Our new double hurricane glass sliding doors provide a panoramic view of the 10th street canal.
