Outdoor living is king at “A Secret Spot”, a lovely cottage located at the north end of Sandbridge. Offering a beautiful outdoor pool area, fenced yard for children, covered hot tub, and plenty of decks and space to spread out or gather together! Under the house offers an outdoor living room with seating, a ping pong table, picnic table. Imagine steamed crabs and drinks while relaxing with family by the pool. ! Inside there are more games for everyone to enjoy.

Enjoy the quiet streets and less crowded beaches that the north end offers. Beach access is through a public path cutting through landscaped lawns. Relaxing at the poolside bar while the kids play is a great end to a beautiful beach day. Use the hammock and photo nook to let your friends know you have found “A Secret Spot” at Sandbridge!

Additional Amenity Details:
Pool and hot tub are open from May 15, 2025 until October 18, 2025. This property is not equipped for pool heat. Pool heat is not an option for this property. An additional fee will be charged to leaseholder for the chemical balance, cleaning or damage that would cause the replacement of a vinyl pool liner.
All Sandbridge Stays properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and wash cloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel, We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels. NO SMOKING in the home at any time. Fantastic stay!

We had a weekend reunion of college friends. We had plenty of room to gather together, and lots of space to have our own space. Great price. Close to the beach. Sandbridge is a wonderful area, quieter and with some great restaurants. Close to stores. We hope to return next year!

We loved this property it accommodated our large family well. Great location with close walk to the beach and local restaurants we enjoyed! Would recommend others to stay here and would look at renting again! Enjoyed an oyster tour during our visit with Pleasure House Oyster Tours! Great experience and wonderful time!

Great home for reunions

Home had the perfect layout for 4 couples and 1 single adult. Plenty of room for every to be together in the kitchen or family room with an additional “den” room we used as the “football room”. Kitchen was well stocked, towels were soft & absorbent, grill was full of gas & all the additional activities were easily accessible. Ryan the host couldn’t have been more helpful. Sending links for activities prior to our arrival, breakfast spot recommendations the 1st morning post arrival etc. Very quick to respond to questions!!

Wonderful family holiday

We loved our holiday in Sandbridge. We were 13 with 6 children between the ages of 2 and 7. The PAC Man, Air Hockey, pool and hot tub were used and loved by all. Rose was responsive and very helpful whenever we needed her and the beach was just a short walk away. Everyone enjoyed the house. Thank you.

This place was excellent. Had everything you would need, lots of space, games, pool, decks, grill. Off the beaten path but only 2 block walk to the beach.

Fantastic vacation!

We enjoyed our 5 days at Secret Spot! The house is clean and fantastic! They had the basic amenities so we didn’t have to bring necessities like dish soap and laundry detergent along with everything else. The pool and hot tub were clean and great for adults and kids! The hang out areas and games are perfect and we enjoyed everything about our stay. Ryan is communicative and helpful even through we didn’t really need anything. Close walk to the beach and market and they even had two beach cruiser for guests to use. Highly recommend:)

Never VRBO EVER AGAIN

I am glad for the opportunity to express how hideous an experience my first and last with VRBO was. I made a reservation and had to cancel it 3 1/2 weeks out. It took three weeks of wrangling to get back the 50% from my reservation payment of 1,413.60 from Ryan (SANDBRIDGESTAYS) the manager. That the property gets to keep over 700 is already shameful when the cancelation is made over 3 weeks out. But the absolute suckerpunch of this experience is the unrefundable, dogmaticly diabolical "VRBO Fee" of 314.55 that VRBO stole from me for allowing this horrible transaction to take place. The amount of back and forth that I had with agents who could do mothing to help me except commiserate with how horrible VRBO is truly defines what a sham your platform is. I will never ever ever even remotely consider using VRBO again, or recommending anything about it. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT POCKETING A 314.55 FEE FOR A CANCELED TRANSACTION WHEN THE CUSTOMER HAS ALREADY BEEN FLEECED BY THE PROPERTY. IN NO OTHER REASONABLE BUSINESS IS THE CUSTOMER OUT OVER 1,000 FOR A CANCELATION-- YOU SUCK VRBO

Family reunion

It was the perfect spot for us met up. I have an aunt living Virginia Beach so we came to see her. Family came for Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and even Alaska. Very relaxing weekend.

Great property for a group, convenient location

We had 11 people ages 7-67. The space was great for the group. We were all able to eat at the dining table comfortably. The kitchen was big enough for a couple of us to work in. Beautiful pool, nice hot tub, ping pong. The beach was a couple blocks away, walking distance. There are many steps in this house. 3 floors. The main bedroom suite is on the top floor. It is 33 steps from the driveway to the main suite. The beds are 1 King, 1Queen, 2 Full, 1 bunk with single/full, 2 bunks (4 beds). It would have been nice to have 2 Queens. Property was clean and maintained. Location is Sandbridge which is about 20 minutes from Virginia Beach but there are lots of stores nearby. We would rent it again! Thank you for a great time!
