Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the house and its beautiful oceanfront views. Unfortunately, a significant nor’easter had just impacted the entire Sandbridge area before your arrival on Sunday, leaving substantial amounts of sand throughout outdoor areas, pools, and hot tubs. Our property was one of many beachfront homes affected by the storm. We worked to address the situation as quickly as possible. The exterior areas were professionally power-washed on Tuesday, the pool was cleaned on Wednesday, and the hot tub was inspected and serviced that same day. Due to the widespread storm damage and high demand for cleaning and maintenance services, these were the earliest appointments available. Regarding compensation, we understand your disappointment and did discuss the refund process with you during your stay. As explained at the time, any refund request would need to be submitted through the platform used for your reservation. We would have been happy to address the request through the appropriate channels had it been submitted. We understand the inconvenience and disappointment, but want to clarify that the delays were entirely storm-related and had nothing to do with it being the end of the season or a lack of willingness to maintain our property.
