Great location! It was very open and felt much bigger than anticipated. Pool was very nice with a nice patio.

Thank you — that spacious feeling is one of our favorite things about Gulf Villa! It has a way of surprising guests once they're inside. So glad the pool and patio hit the mark — and of course, the location on Siesta Key pretty much takes care of the rest. Leave the car keys on the counter and let the Key do its thing. Great location close To hub of The village and also close To beach access. Worked well for our one night getaway. Rooms a bit small overall but workedOkay for us. Would have liked ice in the freezer at arrival.

Nice and quiet property. Easy walk to everything. Pool was small but nice. Property manager very responsive. We enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed on this property twice and loved the location and quietness it provides! The pool was great for the kiddos and we were in walking distance to the beach and the village. We have three children 2,6,8 and we never heard complaining! They loved the layout of the unit! We will be back!

Charming location, wonderful accommodations! All check-in information was conveyed timely, host was responsive within minutes to our query about the thermostat (which is somewhat inconveniently positioned, but easy to control once identified). Parking in front of our unit, nice private porch, immaculate split-plan apartment (2 bedrooms & their baths on different sides of the living area and kitchen), actually a distinct dining area! MORE than enough towels and bedding, good beds, quiet neighborhood of mostly vacation rentals. 3 large TV's, but who wants to watch TV?! There is a small, attractive common pool which we did not take advantage of. The "village" is easy walking distance, with a grocery store, a liquor store, lots of other shopping, and of course a number of excellent places to eat and enjoy being on Siesta Key! We particularly enjoyed Gabbiano's Italian restaurant and the Sun Garden Cafe... Beautiful beaches a block away, and innumerable fantastic things to see and do nearby, including the new Mote Aquarium in Sarasota and the Ringling Brothers estate, and the Selby Botanical Gardens. In short, ours was a delightful stay in a perfectly maintained unit. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

You're right that it's tucked away a bit, and we appreciate the honest note — something we'll look at. It sounds like you made the most of everything Siesta Key has to offer. Gabbiano's and the Sun Garden Cafe are both favorites of ours too, and the new Mote Aquarium is a real treat. Perfect getaway

Perfect location, walking distance to most places! Was no bar soap for hand washing but host responded quickly and it was provided just as quick! If ever back, will definitely book again!

Horrible host

I would never ever stay in this house again. The host stress us out for parking spot. 3 days before arrival they gave us the check in instructions, when I saw that only 1 spot is available for parking I contacted them right away so that I can cancel the booking and book somewhere else since I told them we are going to have 2 vehicles and my husband have disability and told me to let them know when is arrival so I told them Tuesday then I never had an answer the day after that I followed up to see if it will be a problem and she advised me to contact them the day of our arrival so I did. There was 4 parking spot in the front of the house but for some reason they were having issues of us parking in there and give us instructions and pictures to where to park which is not updated. First they said orange door but it was a white door then the pictures to where we could park and it doesn't match to where we were looking so I told them to send someone to the house so they could show us but no one ever came. Then there is only 1 working remote control for 3 tvs in the house and they said they will give it the next day. Nobody came even till we check out. Also the coffee machine still have the old coffee filter and coffee grounds in there. Make sure to bring bug repellent because they have so much mosquitoes and no see ums. I called VRBO about this matter so I told them to contact them to resolve the issues and they never did.
