Your reservation immediately followed a 2½-month stay involving a family of five and a pet. Preparing the property required extensive cleaning, including $420 in professional carpet treatment, with particular attention to eliminating pet-related residue and allergens. Unfortunately, the limited turnaround time did not allow us to complete every detail to our usual standards, and I sincerely regret that. Regarding the refrigerator, the temperature had been adjusted prior to your arrival due to dry ice storage. Once the cooling concern was brought to my attention approximately three days into your stay, arrangements were made to inspect it. I regret the inconvenience and disruption this caused your family. As communicated in my welcome message, I encourage guests to notify me immediately if anything falls short of their expectations so we have an opportunity to correct it. I live locally and am committed to resolving concerns as quickly as possible. I also offered to refund your cleaning fee in acknowledgment of your experience. Your feedback is appreciated and has reinforced the importance of allowing additional preparation time following extended reservations. Thank you for respecting the rules as it pertains to the neighbors. The patio table located nearest to the patio speakers was moved to a different area of the backyard. When the volume was increased to extend to that area, the volume reached the neighbor's backyard. I offered to drop off a bluetooth speaker, as it does not extend the volume to neighbors as much as the patio speakers. Although the backyard is spacious and the weather is great, loud noise echoes and can be deemed as a nuisance. I wish there was more I could do to give guests' complete backyard privacy without breaking HOA rules. However, there are ways to gather and enjoy music with complete privacy. Past guests have enjoyed the floor picnic in the theme room while listening to music on the subwoofer and roku located in the media room. Others watched a game or fight on the 80" living room TV while listening to tunes on the surround sound + subwoofer. There's a 65" TV and firestick in garage to listen to music while shooting pool. You can cook and entertain guests on the spacious island while listening to in-ceiling speakers in the kitchen. I hope that my business or ratings will increase because the property has so much to offer besides the pool.

Thank you so much for your review and the feedback! I sincerely apologize you were not able to enjoy every ammenity the home has to offer. Due to insurance liability reasons, I am no longer able to provide the pool slide. I apologize, the pictures were removed and listing updated after you booked. The LIT sign works, it just does not operate at 100% in the bipolar weather anymore. They are now located in the garage to make the pool room LIT for football season! Currently, we provide two neon signs, additional fence lighting and LED patio umbrella that are more conducive to the weather. The string lights above the pool blew a fuse during the storm and require a really tall ladder but will be fixed soon. I provide in-person help with the entertainment system when the instructions aren't giving hope. I am 5 minutes down the street. I love communicating openly and constructively after check-out. I update the home every season, will provide all the updated pictures you need for future inquiries plus a 20% discount.

The storm unleashed tornadoes and destructive winds that reached 100 miles (160 kilometers) per hour. It shattered windows, tore roofs off homes, and toppled trees and power lines. Nearly one million homes and businesses in the Greater Houston area lost power, according to news reports." We had to protect outdoor furnishings from damage.

A "mess" happened to the experience due to the guests inability to follow specific instructions of how to operate the pool equipment/features and caused my front yard to flood. The guest is upset and blaming miscommunication on me but the whole time she felt i.e. "not our problem". I discovered through a neighbor, very late at night, the pool water level was 2 feet below the tile exposing concrete. When the filter pump is on and it’s not receiving water, the motor will burn up quick, so I panicked. Pool repairs are very expensive and I just replaced motor $1300 after Hurricane Beryl, days before the guest arrived. The warranty does not cover equipment misuse, so I have installed lock and camera to secure pool equipment to prevent further issues.
