Peterson Place - Recent renovation, Peterson Place is an ideal choice for families visiting the tournaments at All Star Village - it is a 10 -12 minute drive time. This 6 bedroom home is nestled below a gentle knoll w calming views across the valley. The in-ground pool (open Memorial Day - Setember 30) has a flagstone patio and a gazebo w/ ample room for outdoor seating and dining. Perennial flower gardens surround the pool area. A spacious summer room with stone flooring leads out to the pool area.

On the hill overlooking Peterson Place there are more incredible views as well as a firepit and badminton net. Sit and relax and watch the sunset, strike up a fire and watch the stars. No matter what you choose you won't be disappointed.

This 4200 square foot home has lots of separate common areas for dining and relaxing. There is an eat-in kitchen, a separate dining room, a large living room and the summer room. Your hosts have retained the hardwood floors throughout and have installed tile in the contemporary baths. Contemporary décor combines with vintage architectural features to create a welcoming and comfortable ambiance.

This large farmhouse is perfect for your getaway in the upstate New York countryside. Whether you're coming for a baseball tournament or a wedding or a family getaway, Peterson Place is a terrific choice for your large group lodging needs. A game room on the second floor has a foosball table.

We had such a wonderful stay at this home during our Cooperstown All Star Village week! The location couldn’t have been more convenient—just minutes from the facility, which made it so easy for us to go back and forth throughout the week. The house itself was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable for our family. We truly appreciated how thoughtful and helpful the host was, always quick to answer questions and make sure everything went smoothly. This home made our trip even more special, and we can’t wait to come back in a few years for our next Cooperstown trip!

Perfect home in a beautiful setting!

Beautiful home with great accommodations! Sparkling pool, games, game room, firepit, acres to roam and look at views, perfect amount of space for multiple families, great location, and very clean! Judy our host was so amazing checking in with us and maintaining our needs while there. I highly recommend this farm house for your next home away from home.

Perfect place to stay for All Star Village Baseball Families!

Really great house for multiple families to stay at during Cooperstown All Star Village Tournaments - super close, in great shape, large property, pool, etc. Really enjoyed our stay here. Best part was the owner Judy - she was very responsive to questions, provided great info on the local area and even followed our teams games so that necessary maintenance could be planned around times where we were not at the house.

Quaint Rustic Charm!

We had such an amazing time at ASV last week and having the house only made it better. Judy was a fantastic host and answered our questions immediately. Everything was perfect. Hope to be back in a few years with the younger brothers!

Beautiful farmhouse close to ASV for families

Judy’s farmhouse was perfect for our group of five families staying to watch our boys play at All Star Village. The house was clean, fully stocked and so convenient to the fields. Judy was a gracious host who was extremely responsive. We loved our home away from home! It was so peaceful to come back to after a crazy day of baseball. Highly recommend! We wish we had another son to come back here!

We had a great time at Peterson Place for our tournament at All Star Village. The house is awesome; comfortable, clean and accommodated our group of 4 families wonderfully. We all enjoyed the pool and comfy beds. Judy was very hospitable and responsive. Only issue was that grocery stores and restaurants are on the other side of the complex past downtown Oneonta, so plan ahead to stock food at the house. You will love this spot for a respite and your home base between games.

Excellent Large House Accommodations with Pool for Team Families in Private Area and Great Host

Peterson Place was a large house that accommodated many of our team families that were in for the Cooperstown All Star Village games. There were 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and an expansive outdoor area that included a very nice pool, firepit, badminton net and plenty of green grass and seating areas to enjoy the rolling hills of NY. We had kids from 7 years old to teenagers and adults who enjoyed the house for the week. There is room off the pool that also has a separate refrigerator for easy access from the pool. All of the kids enjoyed visiting the cows that were nearby at the farm next door. The host communicated well with us and was very accommodating to any of our questions or concerns. The house and rooms are even better than the pictures depict. Would highly recommend this house to anyone considering it.

Perfect All-Star Village Retreat

Peterson Place was a wonderful retreat for our trip to Cooperstown and All-Star Village. The 12-15 minute drive from All-Star Village is easy and the scenery is amazing. We had 4 families in total, 8 adults and 3 10-year-olds, the house easily accommodated our bed and bathroom expectations. Aside from a cleaning hiccup upon arrival, we couldn't have asked for a better, more comforting experience. The house had been cleaned about 4 weeks prior to us arriving, however, the host quickly remedied the situation and came over to tidy up the house. We had a nice bonfire one night in the firepit, we watched a variety of wildlife from the rocking chairs on the front porch, the boys played badminton up on the hill and swam in the heated pool. Some local highlights that we thoroughly enjoyed: Weaver's Farm Market-great Amish market with fresh produce, milk (Clark's Chocolate Milk may be the best I've ever had), eggs and their Italian Sub sandwiches were awesome. I would recommend getting your basic groceries here, the prices were very reasonable, and the market is only a 5-minute drive from the house. Keep in mind they only take cash, and their hours and days of operation are somewhat limited, nonetheless, we visited the market 3 times during our stay. I would recommend Hannaford's for your other grocery needs, however, this is about 15-20 minutes from the house. We had lunch at The Yellow Deli on two occasions; the food and juice drinks/teas/coffees are excellent. Dante's had really good pizza. We liked Ty's Taco-Ria and the Muddy River Brewery, and Sloan's New York Grill had a great variety of higher quality food. Nick's Diner was great for breakfast served all day.
