Great location

The house was great for several families going to Dreams Park for the week. Plenty of rooms to spread out. Very friendly owners that were very accommodating! Would definitely stay again!

Amazing property!

Perfect house for families ataying during the Dreams Park Tournament. It is 6 minutes from the fields. It has great amenities including a pool. Our families thought staying in this house was the best part of the trip. Highly recommend!

Baseball Team Event

We had an amazing stay. We had 6 baseball players that came to a showcase event with their families. The house was spacious, clean, and well stocked for all of our needs. Adults hung out in the kitchen, kids loved the outdoor amenities, and everyone had a place to sleep. We will definitely book again for future events!

Great stay for a week of baseball

This property was true to the listing. It was large… we had six families staying here very comfortably. The beds were comfortable, linens were good quality and we had everything we needed. Washer/dryer were very handy to have. Great location for travel to/from Dreams Park. The kids in our group loved the pool, ping pong, and air hockey table. Plenty of parking. I would highly recommend this house for a large group.

Great property - horrible management

I'll start by saying this rental was great because it could accommodate so many people. Also, we couldn't have asked for a better location. It is so close to Dreams Park. As pleased as I was with the rental, I was equally displeased with the property manager. Hurrican Debbie came through the week we were there, and let's just say she took full advantage of the insurance policy I fortunately had the foresight to purchase in advance, so she could use it to pay for renovations and fixes. She listed $1500 in claims on broken things around the house; it was absolutely absurd. PSA to anyone who books here: definitely purchase the insurance policy.

Dream Park stay was dream!

Our 12 year old son played at the Park the last week of August. Our group included up to 16 people. The sleeping arrangements were wonderful for everyone. Our family including 4 grandparents and the first floor bedrooms were perfect for them. They also loved playing cards at the big table at night and we'll have special memories of those nights! Inside the house: clean, kitchen appliances, etc.-excellent, plenty of kitchen, bath and pool towels. Outside: beautiful setting, peaceful, pool and all the outdoor activities keep younger ones busy. We could see the closing ceremony fireworks from the house. The location to the Dream Park was perfect. The owner gave us an alternative route to Park, especially helpful on Opening Day which saved at least 45 min. of waiting in traffic to get into the Park. Location quick and easy for grocery store, restaurants and downtown. We didn't know how to work the TV (Roku) in the house (we're not very tech savvy) and they there within 15 minutes showing us how to run it. Everyone was able to use it once shown. No problems with it. Management was accessible and addressed everything we asked immediately. We rent houses all over the country and this was one of the best experience we've had as far as cleanliness and service. Can't say enough about the house.

Perfect for Fantastic Dreamspark Experience

The owners have thought of everything when it comes to providing what you would need to experience Dreamspark at its fullest. Five minutes from the ballpark, filled with amenities that siblings and adults can enjoy, and more than helpful owners. Could not recommend this more for families wanting to be close to Dreamspark and share a house with other families!

Start to finish Linda and Paul made out stay seamless.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house. They really have thought of everything for traveling Family’s. The location is ideal to Dreams park. To top it off it’s beautifully situated with a cornfield as your backyard. Lovely!!

River Road Villa Is Perfection!

I cannot rave about this property enough and feel so lucky that we booked it last week for our Cooperstown families. When we arrived, the kitchen was decorated with pins, necklaces and left over snacks from the team before us (we tried to do the same with a pin & notes). Linda & Paul were friendly & attentive and helped when we needed garbage emptied & wi-fi reset. The house was made for exactly our group – plenty of room for all to gather for meals, games in the pool room & fires at night. The rooms were clean, spacious and provided a quiet get away when you needed a minute away from the fun chaos of our group. We had our boys/coaches over to swim to escape the barracks and they played basketball with the team in the house next door. We hope to be back in 2 years with our younger son and will do everything we can to book River Road Villa again as it was worth every penny spent – thanks again for a fabulous week!

We had an amazing time!

Our group had an amazing time during our stay! The house was clean, the pool was amazing, the BBQ's and fire pit were very popular and the washer/dryer were used a lot! And the few things that we needed were attended to immediately by the owners - who were amazingly friendly and helpful. We had 8 "families" who stayed at the house. Two families were grandparents so they shared the bathroom with their family. But otherwise each family had their own bathroom. I highly recommend sharing this house with 5 families, that way each family has a bathroom and the downstairs bathroom can be used primarily for laundry and maybe showers when the players come home. With 5 families, that gives enough room for everyone including siblings and players on nights they come home from the barracks. I highly recommend this house to families who are headed to Cooperstown Dreams Park. It is 5 minutes (if that!) from Dreams Park, Main Street and the grocery stores and restaurants. Very conveniently located. Lots of room for the siblings and players to hang out - including a basketball court - that wasn't used until after baseball was over!

An Amazing Home & Wonderful Stay!!

This beautiful home was outfitted with all the updated and modern accommodations of home for 8 families. This home was utilized as a home base for our boys as they participated in Cooperstown’s 12u Baseball tournament. This glorious home was a quiet, clean, spacious and calming place with a corn field as a backdrop. It is the midpoint between Cooperstown’s Dreams Park and Downtown Cooperstown. Not to mention it’s close to many shops (Tops Supermarket, CVS, Price-chopper, Family Dollar) and lovely restaurants, like Bocca Osteria and the Upstate Bar & Grill. Their home made us feel at ease and at home throughout our week stay. Linda and Paul are delightful, communicative and supremely helpful in providing us with advice ...clearly they love Cooperstown. Lastly, the rooms were cozy with modern bathrooms and thoughtful, sweet baseball related touches. We absolutely loved it! We would definitely come again!

Beautiful Spacious Home Away From Home

Awesome House!!! This is the perfect house for multiple families. It was extremely clean. The owner had our garbage removed every other day, as well as, the day after a team dinner. The owner was very accommodating and was prompt to respond if there was an issue. We only had one issue with the coffee maker; however, Linda promptly delivered a new one. All of the rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were also a nice size. The kitchen was well equipped - it even had muffin pans and cake pans. The picture of the kitchen table is accurate - a lot of people can dine at one time. The pool was clean and not too small. It was awesome that the owners provided beach towels. To our surprise, there was a basketball court. The garage off from the pool was a cool gathering place which also had a refrigerator, stove etc. We really enjoyed all of the sitting areas outside and gathered the one night in front of the outside TV to watch the championship Cooperstown game. This house has a great view of the Cooperstown Dream Park fireworks. The house is close to grocery stores (which you drive past to get to CDP) and the town of Cooperstown. A house with everything...

Seems Linda and Paul have thought of everything here. The bedrooms are split on opposite ends of the house with the living rooms and kitchen in the middle. Even with all the people we had staying, there was always a quiet place to be found inside or out. Pool was great, fire pit was awesome, decks and patios everywhere to mingle. And when it was time to leave it was raining, we were able to back the car into the garage and carry everything from the house to the car under the overhangs and never got wet! Like I said, they thought of everything. Thank you Linda and Paul, everybody had a great time!

A beautiful deck attached to the home with a BBQ grill, a 36" Griddle for those morning eggs, bacon and sausage, just off the deck is even a party grill that can cook 65 hamburgers or 126 hotdogs at the same time for team party night! Area seating for all, or hide away in the grass in an Adirondack chair to relax with a good book. Ping Pong anyone?? Play that playoff championship game on the ping pong table in the pool house. An Air Hockey table for the hockey enthusiasts is located in the Pool house as well. A 16' x 32' heated pool with lounge seating all around for your enjoyment or sit under the pavilion and watch the baseball games on the outdoor TV. If that was not enough send the kids to the yard to play basketball on the basketball court. There is something for everyone. You will not be disappointed.
