The Neighborhood:

Wandering Rivers Retreat is tucked into the peaceful Glacier Springs area near Glacier, Washington, surrounded by towering evergreens, mountain scenery, and the natural beauty of the North Cascades.



The neighborhood offers a quiet, forested setting within convenient reach of the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest, the Nooksack River, scenic drives, hiking trails, and year round mountain recreation. Mt. Baker Ski Area is an easy drive for winter skiing and snowboarding, while warmer months bring opportunities for hiking, river adventures, photography, and exploring nearby alpine lakes.



The small community of Glacier has a limited selection of local restaurants, coffee, groceries, and seasonal businesses. Larger grocery and supply runs are best completed before traveling farther east along Mt. Baker Highway.



After a day of exploring, return to the quiet cul-de-sac, settle into the hot tub, and enjoy the slower pace of mountain living.

MOUNTAIN LIVING, WILDLIFE & WEATHER



This home is located in a rural mountain environment surrounded by forest and wildlife. Guests may occasionally encounter insects, mice, bats, raccoons, bears, or other native animals. Please help us keep wildlife outdoors by never leaving food, coolers, or garbage outside.



Mountain weather can change quickly. Heavy rain, snow, ice, wind, falling trees, power interruptions, and temporary internet outages are possible. During winter, an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive vehicle is strongly recommended, and guests should arrive prepared for current road and mountain conditions.



WI-FI, STREAMING & CELL SERVICE



The home includes fast WiFi, a dedicated workspace, and a Smart TV. Streaming subscriptions are not included, so guests will need to sign into their own accounts.



Cellular service can be limited throughout the Glacier and Mt. Baker area depending on the carrier. Although the home has strong internet service, temporary interruptions may occur during storms or regional outages.

A Tesla compatible EV charger is available at the home. Guests driving a vehicle with a different charging connection should bring the appropriate adapter.
